Waterfront RV

Come enjoy a quiet stay in our 2017 Sunset Trail 250 RB RV parked along one of Florida’s coolest fresh water springs and Lake Woodruff National Wildlife Refuge. We are located 25 miles west of Daytona Beach in north Central Florida. The RV is located within walking distance to DeLeon Springs State Park which is open 365 days per year. Once called Acuera or "Healing Waters" by the Mayaca Indians who once inhabited the area, DeLeon Springs State Park is a place to cool off in clear waters, roam trails through a lush subtropical forest, and immerse oneself in a rich history. Our 4+ acre property has plenty of waterfront available for canoeing, kayaking birdwatching and fishing. Our two canals, which enter either side of the property, are great for fishing and watching amazing sunsets. We have two bikes and one canoe (w/safety equip.) and fishing poles available for use during your stay. There is a Fish camp/boat ramp located 200 yards from the property and plenty of room to park your boat and trailer. There are airboat tours available by request / reservation.
Make sure to enjoy a pancake brunch at the historical Sugar Mill restaurant located within the DeLeon Springs State Park, which is a short canoe ride or short walk from our property. The Deleon springs Park also offers a historical boat ride in a pontoon boat through the surrounding rivers, lakes, and streams The property is also within walking distance to Chuck Lennon Sports Park, which features soccer fields, baseball fields, tennis courts ,handball courts basketball courts, playgrounds, and is the trailhead for 13 miles of bike trails.
Enjoy bird watching? Species such as Winter Wren, Golden-crowned Kinglet and dark-eyed Junco have been sighted annually in winter, along with Yellow-billed Cuckoos, Summer Tanagers and Acadian Flycatchers during the spring and summer.
Our camper features one queen master bedroom with closing doors and closets, as well as a full/double pull out couch. The table area can also be converted into a bed for a small child if needed. Our RV is equipped with a full indoor kitchen and half outdoor kitchen. We have a full size gas outdoor BBQ grill and our outdoor covered gazebo. It’s a perfect place for who is open to tiny living, adventure and escape to nature.

When we arrived at 4 pm the place was not ready. We came back to find a very filthy camper. After wiping down the countertops the wipes were filthy. The microwave and refrigerator had crusty old food still in it. There was old opened food in the cabinets. There was a mount for a smoke detector but no smoke head. Both the outside and the inside were extremely run down. The host was extremely rude. We have stayed in campers before but this was totally unacceptable!!

You didn’t arrive at 4:00. You arrived at 2:00 and you were already upset. You left but then came back at 2:30. Then 3:00 and then when I text you at 3:50 to tell you the place is ready you never responded and didn’t return for hours. I was never at anytime rude to you until you complained and left my property under the pretense of there being no smoke alarms. In truth there are four (4) smoke and carbon dioxide and propane detectors in that camper. Three of them are built into the camper itself. The mount you saw was empty because I found that alarm to be faulty so I replaced it with a much better system. The place is not run down as you say. We just had record setting cold temperatures and everything froze and died. And the oak trees are shedding their leaves. Not just my property but most everyone’s in central Florida. I could’ve raked every leaf on the property into bags and hauled them off and the next day it would appear as if I never raked at allYou may not know this but no amount of maintenance can control the weather. I have 5 acres here and I’m sure my property is not like yours in staton island but I do my best here. My biggest question to you is why did you book your stay here. You self admitted you ended up in a $400 per night hotel called secrets in Orlando. Why didn’t you just book your stay there from the beginning. Open food? Peanut butter I leave in there as a curtesy. As well as homemade jelly from my moms muscadine vineyard not far from here. Sorry that offended you but that’s how we live here in the south. We are nice thoughtful and respectful. Something you might want to consider trying sometime because you have a nasty spirit. You should have your poor husband video your behavior so you can see how you act. Poor guy

Property was poorly maintained. Gazebo was filled with cobwebs, torn screens. Host was pleasant.Property had access to lake, but lake too low to use.Camper was however very clean and tidy. Just don't think property should have been avail. at the time we rented it. Not up to the VRBO standards we are use to. Would not recommend.

Total Relaxation

This place was fantastic. Tucked away and very low key surroundings. The master bed was so comfy and sheets were so soft we had the best sleep in awhile. The State Park is very close and is a must see! Enjoy.....we did!!!

Getaway near the park

This was a great place for that next level camping Just about everything you need was provided. I was able to take their canoe out on the lake and catch fish right away We would love to come back someday

The trailer was very clean and close to everything. You can bike the area easily and it is within walking distance if the springs. The hosts are great and the property is very peaceful. We will definitely be back again.

Happiness in Paradise

We loved our stay. The RV we stayed in was very comfortable and well equipped. The property was beautiful - fabulous live oak trees and butterflies flying everywhere. My favorite part was canoeing to de Leon Springs Park. It was peaceful and lovely and I'd like to go there again someday.

Best Florida getaway ever 🤗

Stayed 4 nights in this nice RV and we loved every second. Jaw dropping garden with majestic old trees and spanish moss everywhere. Was on the lake in canoes and sailed around the lake seeing lots of alligators and wildlife. Used the canoes to sail to the springs twice and it was awesome. 5 Stars from Copenhagen, Denmark.

It is the only camper on about 4 acres with the biggest Live Oaks. Saw 2 bi gators and a buck deer walked across the yard.

We are a middle age married couple with a baby boy due in November 2021. We bought this beautiful property, which has been in my family for four generation, last year and are currently building our dream home here.

This property is like no other in our surrounding area. It is lush with beautiful historical live oak trees. Within a short canoe ride or walking distance to a category 1 freshwater Spring with a crystal clear swimming area, and also borders the lake woodruff National wildlife refuge which is about 30,000 acres of undisturbed protected wildlife. There is a fish camp and boat ramp two hundred yards away if you're interested in fishing or boating. and I've seen some of the most beautiful sunsets here at this property. Its also a great place to bring children for the experience of raw undisturbed nature but also within walking distance of a very nice county park and playground
