A place like home

Our stay at Rose’s place was quite wonderful. My family and I had an amazing time. There was 6 of us plus our furr babies and there was enough space for us without feeling too crowded. The 2 1/2 bathrooms was a major plus along with the beautifully decorated backyard with a patio set which allowed us to sit and watch our babies roam around without fear of them getting out of the backyard. Rose and Ezzat created a stunning view with beautiful plants and flowers along the backyard privacy fence. We all really enjoyed the view as we cooked out and enjoyed family time. There was a grill already present so we didn’t have to bring one of our own. Very convenient. We did a lot of cooking so it was very helpful that the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook including utensils to bbq. The upstairs patio was great for sitting outside and drinking coffee while looking out at the beautiful backyard scenery. The beach is within walking distance and there is even a beach access very close by. We loved having a washer and dryer. It was nice to do laundry before leaving so that was one less things to do once back home. We had the privilege of meeting Rose and Ezzat. They were the most nicest and welcoming people you could meet. There was a storm the day of checkout and Rose allowed us to stay until it passed. We really enjoyed our stay, would recommend this stay without a doubt and would definitely return in the future. Thank you Rose and Ezzat!!

Perfect getaway

This cute little beach house was perfectly located to the beach and several restaurants and shops, all within walking distance. The house has a beautiful fenced in backyard with a table and chair for outside dining. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Beach towels and many beach items, including chairs, toys, coolers, boogie boards and coolers. Rose is an outstanding host and provided instant communication about restaurants, shopping and golf cart rentals. Highly recommend and we would definitely return.

Everything was great. Rose was awesome. House was very welcoming. The only downside is from the listing you can't tell that the only access to the house is by 23 stairs. This might make it difficult for some.

Always a good experience

Just finished another trip at this property. We continue to return due to Rose’s hospitality, the beautiful yard, the very short walk to the beach (under five minutes), the beach amenities (chairs, toys, towels), and having pretty much everything we need for an extended weekend trip. You may want to pack your own baking sheets/muffin pans but she has most other kitchen items. We love visiting SPI and this house is quaint and perfect for our small family to enjoy the beach.

Perfect beach rental!!!

This is one of the best vacation rentals we have experienced. The pictures don't do it justice. Very clean, well stocked, comfortable beds, pet friendly, updated decor with the perfect beach vibe. The host was so kind and responsive. Just a short walk to the beach and close to lots of restaurants, shops etc. Would definitely stay here again and certainly plan to!! We ate at Sea Ranch for dinner and Palms on the Beach for breakfast- both were great!!

Family Vacation

This house was lovely and we enjoyed our stay. There were six adults and two dogs in the house and all were comfortable. We enjoyed the balcony in the mornings with coffee and the evenings visiting with each other in the ocean air. I love the ocean and this was my first time at South Padre Island. We will definitely be back. The owner was very accommodating to our requests. A great place.

Lovely place

Rose is a wonderful host. She made sure everything was perfect and set for our stay. Her home is lovely, clean and beautifully decorated. South Padre June 2024

We enjoyed our stay. The owner, Rose, was very attentive and easy to contact and communicate with. The house was clean and just as it was described. It was a close walk to the beach. There were beach chairs and an umbrella we could use. The house is close to everything. You could walk, but the heat was too much the last week of June, so we rented a golf cart to get around. You won’t regret staying here.

Great location and roomy for family

We walked to beach each day which has easy access. Enjoyed hanging out on deck and grilling in yard area. Easy walk to grocery store, rental carts.

SPI Visit

Our family really enjoyed our stay at The Seahorse! We were very comfortable and had everything we needed. Fenced yard was a definite plus for our dogs! Short walk to beach was a definite plus!

Short stay but very comfortable

Unit was clean, easy to find and well stocked with cooking utensils. Short easy walk to the beach. Beach chairs and shade umbrella help keep us cool and out of the sun. Plan to stay again.

Home away from home

It couldn't have been better. Very good location and very clean. Nicely decorated, plenty of room. Beautiful yard to sit in and fenced yard bonus for our dog.
