We are just a short one-block walk to the back side of the track. It's a diverse and transitioning neighborhood—mainly blue-collar. Our residents include families young and old, homeowners and renters, UL students, and long-time residents. The area is in the midst of continued revitalization—especially with the large investment in Churchill Downs expansion.

I came to Louisville with a group of friends for a music festival. This house was perfect, had everything we needed. The hosts were very helpful and responsive. It’s was a short uber ride to the Expo center. There is a great taqueria and convenience store on the corner and Kroger just down the road.

Very clean and nice place to stay

Very clean, great communication with the owners, close to the convention center where we needed to be for are whole trip. Would definitely stay here again.

The property is comfortable and clean. The layout of the condo works well. everything is new and all works well.The neighborhood in the evening is a little rough, fine in the daylight and the neighbors are friendly.

Perfect for our needs

While we simply needed a place to hang our hats and didn’t spend much time at the VRBO, it fit our needs perfectly. Clean spaces, full kitchen, and a very close easy drive to the expo center. We will look to book again when we are in Louisville.

Cute updated space close to sports

Triple crown in Louisville

The property was great, central location for bourbon tasting. Very clean. Owners were very attentive and communication was great. I would definitely recommend this house especially if you are interested in Churchill Downs or University of Louisville.

Good and bad

First the good: Very modern interior. Living room, kitchen, 4 bedrooms and 2 baths. Beds VERY comfortable! Bathrooms, very modern. Showers great. Nice deck but nothing to see but trash down the alley. Now the bad: Neighborhood is very sketchy. Outside and surrounding areas are the pits! Garbage everywhere!

Stay for weekend

I will start with the positives. The owners were very responsive and the inside was clean and has been updated. It is close to church hill downs as well. Now while the inside is clean, the outside pictures are very misleading. The outside photo is cropped to not show any of the other buildings around it. It is located in a rougher neighborhood. We had a group of people just drinking outside our front door at all hours but especially at night. I would not advise walking back from Churchill at night for sure. It is loud at night in the neighborhood as well. Luckily we were going for the PGA event so was not home often. If you are wanting a quiet getaway this won’t be it. The biggest reason I dropped the review to 2 stars is because of the outside photo being cropped to not give you an accurate representation of the property. Side note if you do stay there, the taco place on the corner may have some of the best authentic tacos in Louisville.

Don’t judge a book by its cover

The first night we got there, we noticed that there was hair and stains on the sheets and pillowcases. One bed just had the covers thrown over it and the sheets not made so we informed the property manager and told him we were going to wash the sheets. He did offer to have the cleaning crew come the next day to replace the sheets but had to wash them for that night. The following day we notice a small roach in the bedroom upstairs by the kitchen and also the third day. We did speak to the property manager and thats one thing that was positive…. They did reply back. The neighborhood is very sketchy. If you’re planning on having a quiet night, that’s not the case you have cars trucks trains school buses and you also hear the planes that was extremely disappointing. We are planning on returning to Kentucky but we will never stay at this location. I was surprised on the reviews but I decided to leave a honest review so no one else has high expectations.

Great rental!!

This was a great rental!! Loved everything about it! Our initial reservation fell thru because it was double booked. I was able to get into this rental very quickly. Super accommodating and communication was great! Recommend this to anyone! We were down there for a big basketball tournament. Some families will be booking next year for the tournament.

Great location for Basketball tournament at the Expo Center

We were in town for a basketball tournament. It was super convenient. Our games were at the EXPO center and it was a 5 minute car ride. We used the recommendation book on restaurants and they were all great. The place was clean and very accomodating. We will book again for our next tournament

Great Derby Weekend

This house is fantastic. Great location for our Kentucky derby weekend. We easily walked to Churchill downs every day. The house was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. We would definitely recommend this house.

This is a very cool condo, beautiful kitchen with everything you possibly need. Very clean and comfortable beds. We will definitely be back!

Louisville Trip!

We had a great stay at this property! Our check in/out process was very easy. Very clean and comfortable. Great amenities provided. About 10 minutes away from downtown, overall felt safe in the neighborhood although we did not walk to anything. Would definitely stay here again!
