Waterfront vacation home, 3 minutes away from downtown Ucluelet, 3 rooms available for small family vacation, quiet and relaxing.
Tenants are living upstairs, they are very quiet and nice. Hopefully, our guests are quiet and respectful.

What to know: Sorry, but NO kitchen/kitchen area for guests. Also, upstairs deck is not going to be shared with guests. Tenants use ALL portions of the upstairs area, including the deck.

Rooms were perfect for our group of 5 women. Beautiful location. Saw a whale Sunday morning from backyard. The only thing HOT TUB does not work and should not be included in advertisement we were advised it does not work a month prior but pics recommend to be removed.

The only reason we didn't give our stay 5 stars was due to the loud upstairs tenants. There is clearly a child who resides there that does a lot of crying, screaming and stomping. It was hard to sleep in past 7:30am because of the noise. The rest of the stay was amazing. The property and rooms do not disappoint at all. Plenty of towels, soaps, coffee and tea supplies. Two of the rooms have large soaker tubs.We were able to see a lot of wildlife from the deck, eagles, herons, harbour seals and deer. The deer came right into the backyard for a little snack! The property is in walking distance of the main part of town and a short drive to many of the beaches. The owner and caretaker were great to deal with and very attentive.

No toaster, no glasses, no spoons for stirring tea/coffee, no dish soap, no tea towel. Rooms were clean and spacious but needed some TLC. Hot tub wasn’t working. Stunning view!

Perfect family getaway

The location was perfect, the beaches, the Pacific Rim trails, the aquarium. Our family really enjoyed our stay and the view was great! Very clean and cozy rooms.

Great Spot!!

We are glad we chose this property!! The rooms were clean and nice, beds comfortable, views of the bay great, and access to Ucluelet area and trails were perfect! Highly recommend!!

Family getaway

The accomodation is beautifully located on the inlet. The suits were clean and beds were comfortable. There were 3 bedrooms and bathrooms as expected, however they are three separate suits which is not the most ideal for traveling with children. Although there was a pull out bed and futon in the units, there was no extra bedding, so each of the adults shared a king size bed and unit with some of the children, not exactly what we imagined but it worked and the kids thought it was great!

Amazing!

This was the perfect secluded place to stay! The views were amazing! Eagles, heron and kingfishers right outside. Hot tub was so nice after a day of exploring the beaches, lighthouse and town. Close to everything, but tucked away into a beautiful, quiet spot. We loved it here!

Amazing location

The rooms, bathrooms, beds were great, as was the location. This is a rustic location that misses a few minor niceties, eg coffee, but no coffeemate; dishes but no utensils; dish soap, but no dish cloths; rough outside furniture. Nothing really takes away from the stunning, peaceful location. And the hot tub is a big plus.

Beautiful view!

Our family of 6 adults stayed 3 nights. Our days were filled with surfing and relaxation. The property is beautiful with a fantastic ocean view. The location is within walking distance to local shopping and great restaurants. Communication with Andy was quick and friendly. Many thanks! We hope to stay here again.

Beautiful view

We had 3 adults and 2kids. We rented 3 bedrooms. Each had its own entry and bathroom. There is no kitchen provided but there is a microwave and kettle. The kids loved the hot tub and short walk to the beach. Nice spot to have a coffee in the morning overlooking the water. Easy to find. Quick drive to town.

Beautiful Waterfront Stay

This was a perfect place for us to stay in Ucluelet. My husband and I have a one year old, and we travelled with another couple with an 8 month old. The three suites available to be booked are all separate spaces with their own door, full bathroom, mini fridge and extra space. The common outdoor space was stunning, with beautiful mountain views over the water. The hot tub was an amazing amenity for the chilly evenings while our children slept. It is a 15 minute walk to the centre of Ukee and we loved being able to walk to town for breakfast and meals. We were also able to walk to Big Beach and hiking trails. This truly was the perfect space for our families and we highly highly recommend a stay here.

Do not stay here if you want a relaxing stay, it was a complete nightmare. We got here after driving 5 1/2 hours from Victoria, and when we went to get our keys through the lockbox with the code provided, IT DID NOT WORK. I was in contact with the owner for about 45 minutes asking how we can get into the rooms and he basically kept saying "im in a different country, sorry!" . I was able to get in contact with the housekeeper and he gave me keys to the rooms, but one room he just did not have keys to and we had to leave constantly unlocked! Not to mention my reservation was for 6 people and they gave us 3 towels FOR SIX PEOPLE. (again, luckily the housekeeper was amazing and went and got us extra, but it made no sense!). Aside from the NIGHTMARE checkin, the alarm clocks from the screaming and crying and tantrum-throwing toddler upstairs at 6:30am were unbelievable. The tenants above have no care or consideration when their child screams for 3 hours uninterrupted. we were here for a wedding and wanted a relaxing atmosphere and we got none of that. if you are looking for peace and simplicity, stay ELSEWHERE.

We arrived at 10:00 PM, and the check-in instructions were unclear. Finding the keys was complicated, and the property owner did not answer the phone. Someone else returned our call only about an hour later. There was no outdoor lighting, making arrival even more difficult.The property has no kitchen—only refrigerators without a freezer and a microwave. There is no shared indoor seating area, only an outdoor balcony, which also had no lighting.The listing advertised a hot tub. Although we received an email before arrival saying it was broken, the check-in email still stated that a hot tub was available, so we assumed it had been repaired. We were disappointed to find that it was not. The next evening, we asked how to turn on the outdoor lights, but received no response, and only the following day did someone come to switch them on.On the positive side, the beds are very comfortable, the bathtubs are large and pleasant, the yard is beautiful, and the view is lovely. However, the nearby beach is not suitable for walking or swimming.Overall, due to the unclear instructions, poor communication, misleading listing details, and multiple inconveniences, our experience was disappointing, and we would rate the stay as below average.

Cheap stay, pay what you get

Overall misleading and mismanaged but cheaper than other places. Listing shows the full house but you only get the basement level. Host tried to only give us 2 out of 3 rooms, after haggling we finally got the lock code to the 3rd bedroom we PAID for without enough towels or sheets for our group. None of the amenities worked (even though we were assured they would). It’s a cheap stay but not a bargain. If had known all the above, would’ve paid to stay someplace else.
