Great place. Easy parking. Great location. Ocean Grove is a cool little town. Close to Asbury Park and the boardwalk. Will definitely be coming back.

Overall a good experience. The studio apartment was smaller than expected but clean and functional. The Allenhurst is in a great location; walking distance to center of town and beach. Love the porch! We could have used at least one comfortable chair and a lamp by the bed. We also realize that with dogs, we should have been on first floor.

Great beach house!

The studio was wonderful, two blocks from the beach and tons of shops and food near by. Would definitely be back!

Beautiful, Clean Apartment

Everyone was friendly…even the puppies! Lovely area with parks, flowers, and great places to walk! We would definitely stay there again!

Just a little getaway

My visit to The Allenhurst was pleasant. Small space but accommodated all my needs for a two night stay. Pretty quiet. Bed and pillows were comfy. Everything was clean. The only thing i would consider is perhaps a tiny bedside lamp so I wouldn't have to get up to turn off the overhead lights once I settled but that was minor and not a big deal at all. The beach was within waking distance and nearby shops and food as well. Parking was good. Overall, i would definitely consider staying at The Allenhurst again should I find myself back in the area for a respite. Cute town. It was great. Thank you.

This was a pretty disappointing place to stay. The building is dilapidated and the room was small and none of the windows looked out on anything other than other buildings which made it feel claustrophobic. And I could hear someone coughing and someone else’s tv. It just felt run down and depressing even though there was an effort to make the room cheery. That said, the hosts who I never met but communicated with, were very responsive and attentive. They brought me a bedside lamp and let me check out late. So I feel bad about leaving a less than stellar review. I think as long as your expectations aren’t too high, you can make it work. It’s a cute neighborhood close to shops and restaurants and the boardwalk/beach and the kitchen area was nice to have. It had a full fridge, microwave and toaster.

Great place - close to everything. We choose as part of long trip - needing a place for a few nights. We “cheaped out” and got what we payed for. Place - old building ( expected) clean and well cared for. Next time we will level up.
