Beautifully remodeled 2 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom waterfront home on a canal with direct access to the Weeki Wachee River in less than a 5 minute paddle ride. This home has been completely updated. Fully stocked kitchen, newly furnished, backyard with grill, firepit, 2 single kayaks, and 2 double kayaks for your use. Enjoy looking for manatees and watching the mullet jump while sitting on the dock or paddling around the canals and river. All you need for a relaxing getaway!

We had a short but very great time. We enjoyed kayaking on the Weeki Wachee River and also the athmosphere in the garden. We will be back:)

Would stay again.

Everything about this place is great. Location is awesome. Not far from everything, but far enough it's quiet and peaceful. Met the cleaning lady( which I might add came out on a Sunday to try to help) do to the fact that the TV remote was missing. She was great as well. Communication with the home owners was also great. They over nighted 2 brand new remotes and a box of batteries. Sitting under the bocks shelter while it rained for a day was so relaxing as well. Would stay here again.

Home on canal

Older Florida home located on Weeki Wachee canal. Home has some modern touches. VRBO pictures and amenities match what we experienced. Because it was an older home with what appears to be several additions, there is some sloping of the floors but not bothersome. There is a single step into each of the bedrooms which I did notice in the pictures. Bed mattress was softer than what we like but we still were able to enjoy restful sleep. Neighbors were very nice. My husband and I enjoyed our stay. Family used the kayaks and paddleboards the owners provided. Our dog (and us too) loved watching the birds in the area. We didn't see manatees in the canal but did in other locations. Location is close to shopping & restaurants. Other areas like Tampa, Crystal River, Withlacochee, etc. are within reasonable driving range.
