Welcome to Deja Blue River Beach House, a private luxury oasis on the serene Weeki Wachee River. Designed with families in mind, this peaceful retreat features a private river beach, calm canal setting with no rear neighbors, and plenty of space to relax, play, and reconnect. Spend your days kayaking crystal-clear waters and your evenings unwinding together in comfort, surrounded by nature and unforgettable riverfront views.

This beautifully appointed 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom home comfortably sleeps up to 6 guests. The open-plan living area features a cozy living room with a large sofa and HDTV, flowing seamlessly into a modern, fully-equipped kitchen with white cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, and a dining area for four.

• Bedroom 1: Features a comfortable King-sized bed and an attached private bathroom.
• Bedroom 2: Includes a Queen-sized bed plus a Twin trundle bed.
• Florida Room: An air-conditioned sunroom with a Futon and a convertible bean bag chair provides additional sleeping space and a place for games.

Step outside into your personal paradise, complete with a sandy beach landscape. This is where your vacation truly comes to life:

• Water Access: A short paddle down the canal leads you to a breathtaking part of the main river. Use our provided clear kayaks and stand-up paddleboards to explore the crystal-clear waters.
• Relax & Unwind: Soak your cares away in the hot tub, lounge in the hammock, or gather around the firepit under the stars.
• Eat & Entertain: Fire up the BBQ grill for an outdoor feast, enjoy drinks at the tiki bar with unique swing seats, and challenge friends to games like cornhole and ring toss.

You will have private access to the entire property. This includes the house, the full yard, hot tub, dock, and all games and watercraft. Enjoy the convenience of self-check-in upon your arrival.

The house was very clean and had a fully stocked kitchen. The first morning a manatee swam right by and there is a friendly otter that was spotted several times. The only thing we did not think about was when the tide goes out it is too low to get the kayaks into it. Other than that we would definitely stay again. Beautiful location and the hot tub was great. Thank you.

The home is clean and updated even more than it looks in the pictures. It was very comfortable for my family of four. You can stay there the whole time or there's restaurants and shopping close. The first day there we kayaked down to the river and found manatees right away. It was pretty awesome.

We got a note from Mary well before we got there with instructions for check-in. She was very prompt in responding to everything. House was as beautiful as the pictures. We saw so much wildlife. At the house we saw Manatees, woodpeckers, cranes, snapping turtles, turkeys, lizards, and very friendly grasshoppers. If fishing, The Hernando beach bait shop guy knows what is biting and on what. We caught blue gill, small mouth and halibut at the house. The bass at Jenkins creek were only interested in shrimp. Went on a great charter on the gulf with angling adventures just up the road at the Hernando beach pier. Captain Steven was the best with our whole family (kids and mom included). We wandered down to Clearwater beach for a day. It was about 90 mins, but on a Thursday, there was no traffic and we parked in public parking for 3/hr. Totally worth it.

This house has everything you need and then some. Mary goes above and beyond with what is provided. Very easy access to the springs. Quiet area and friendly neighbors. We really enjoyed our time!

Great stay at the river

My family and I had a great stay at the house on the Weeki Wachee River. We enjoyed using the canoes to go up the river toward the springs. Side note: take a right if you are trying to get to the river - we went the wrong way the first time! But we had a great adventure and I loved showing my girls the beauty of old Florida - as well as the mermaids!

A must stay …rated highly for a reason

We loved that it was secluded and had so much onsite to do. Kayaking, hot tub, fire pit, games, fishing poles, and all the essentials needed for your stay. The sandy back yard was perfect for our infant. We really enjoyed it as did our teenage son who loved taking the kayaks out. It’s not too far of a paddle to beautiful water. Water was a bit low when we stayed but so nice still. We would stay again!

Awesome house!

This is the cleanest house I’ve ever stayed in. The home is equipped with anything you could possibly need. The location is nice and the water pressure is awesome. We will definitely be back!

Excellent Location

This little house was perfect for our family of 5. Comfortable and roomy. The kids slept well in the beanbags one of which was opened fully. Our 6 y/o granddaughter said it was her own personal nest! King size bed was almost as comfy as my sleep number bed at home! Daughter slept well in the queen (?). Teenager did use the fold out bed a couple nights and was pleased. The kitchen was well equipped with anything you could need, and then some. And a Crockpot! Yard games provided were very much appreciated during our downtime. The kayaks were a huge perk! We were able to paddle out several days and we did see manatees! Pay attention to the tides to make it easier to get out. So much to do in the area, and great food. We walked one of the nearby piers and saw dolphins! What a treat!If you like putt putt golf the Congo River is a must!Anyway Mary was great with communication and provided clear instructions re: hot tub, thermostat, etc.Highly recommend this quaint little home!PS: Parking may be tight if you have two bigger vehicles. Sweeping may be a daily task because of the sand, especially if there is alot of in and out. Not a bother for us, but may be for others.

Florida cold snap

Upon arrival we did have some issues with the cleanliness of the house, however Mary had the cleaners return and resolved the problems promptly. She was kind enough to check in again the next to day to make sure all was well. The house is very cute, and is by far the most well stocked Vrbo we have stayed in. They really did an amazing job in making sure you have everything you need. The Florida weather did not cooperate at all the day of arrival nor the next day, but we tried to make most of it. On our last full day the weather finally was decent enough to be outside so we tried to take a clear kayak down the river. Unfortunately, there’s not enough water to kayak through the canal the house sits on to get to the river. We’re not big people and still got stuck in the mud repeatedly in such a short distance we had to go back to the house after about 1/4 mile and still didn’t see deeper water. The water is very mucky and brackish and is not somewhere you can get out the kayak to get unstuck. Obviously this was a huge disappointment as we rented this particular house for the kayaks and the river. I understand the weather, including water depth can’t be controlled however I just wish we knew in advance so we could have adjusted our plans accordingly. This prob is a great place for kayaking during other months when there’s enough water. The 1/4 or so mile we did see looked pretty scenic. the next day, but we made the most of it.

Excellent stay

We loved this property and enjoyed kayaking on the river! It was a perfect place: relaxing and enjoyable. The hot tub was clean and enjoyable after a long day kayaking the river. We would definitley stay again!

Peaceful and Fun!

We stayed 5 nights having had a busy few days in Orlando so welcomed the change of pace and peacefulness. We enjoyed the hot tub, views, games and most of all the kayaks. We went out a few times and we found it took us 12-15 minutes to get down to the main river. We took our time because the canal the house is on is so quiet, the reflection of the trees on the water is beautiful. We loved it! The house itself is well stocked and the beds comfy. I hope to return one day and would recommend to others.

Enjoyed so much!

We loved the place. My only complaint was it not being directly on the clear waters and having to paddle a little ways down to get to the clear water. I would have liked less rocks in the sand in the back yard. But everything else was amazing. And I miss the comfortable bed so much already!

Great get away

Perfect Weekend Getaway

Home away from home

We really enjoyed this property and all its amenities. It's very well appointed, clean, and comfortable in all respects. The neighborhood is quiet and tucked away. Access to the canal without being on the main (crowded) canal is perfect. We saw one magnificent manatee in Weeki Wachee even late in the season. The backyard area is perfect for enjoying a quiet morning or evening watching for local cranes that frequent the area. We would stay again.

Girls weekend

Had a wonderful girls weekend here!! House was adorable and had everything we needed. We like to eat in, so did Publix delivery and the kitchen had all the tools to prepare it. Enjoyed the hot tub, beach backyard, talking to people floating by and nightly bonfires. Took a short (30 min) trip to Florida Cracker in Homosassa to say “Welcome back” to the monkeys. So many other things we could have done, we’ll have to schedule another trip!!

Annual friend vacation

The weather was better than expected. We got the kayaks out 3 consecutive days. We were able to see a manatee up close. We loved it. The property is amazing. We didn't want for anything. The communication is fantastic. We woke up to a tom and a couple hens a few mornings. We would definitely go back!!

Perfect for a couple

Stayed for a long weekend, house very well maintained, perfect for the two of us. I loved that it was obviously clean but didn't have that strong bleach smell that some rentals have. Only negative is that the hot water is very limited but other than that, A+. Felt like home, would stay again for sure!

Great Escape

My girlfriends and I had a wonderful time on our stay! The Weeki Wachee springs run a few minutes away was amazing. The kitchen was perfectly appointed and the house was very clean. The backyard area and the hot tub made for a great time as well. Would recommend!

Little bit of paradise

Every bit of our trip went smoothly from the very beginning check in to check out. Communication with the owner was superb. Every amenity was provided for us that was described in the description. Exceptional attention to detail. We were able to kayak almost every day. I loved sitting by the fire at night.

We loved it so much last year we returned again this year. The place is great. We got to see manatees swim right by the dock this time, and there were a bunch of them in the river right out from the canal. Awesome time!

Magical Weeki Wachee experience!

The river cottage doesn’t miss a detail! All the amenities! Excellent host! Clean, stocked, and updated. Perfect setting to experience the magic of Weeki Wachee. Location is perfect to get out to the main river to see the manatees. Tons of stuff to do. Excellent internet and entertainment. Kids felt like they were at Disney : )

Loved our stay!

The property is better than described! Fully appointed kitchen, very organized. Comfortable master bed. The yard is an oasis and so quiet. The kayaks were easy to use and the paddle to the main river is super easy. Be sure to get a tide app before paddling out. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying again. Mary was a fantastic communicator and helped us out several times. Fantastic host! Great house! You won’t regret staying here!
