Updated waterfront home, great manatee viewing, dock, 5 minute paddle to river!

Enjoy the water views from the screen porch or sit in the Adirondack chairs out on the dock (where you can also tie your boat). Paddle the crystal clear Weeki Wachee river in one of the 4 kayaks (one tandem, three singles) or canoe or paddle board - just a 5 minute paddle from the house. Swim off the dock in the canal or in the main river. We have a water mat you can lounge on off the dock. Excellent manatee, turtle, large water bird, and flying mullet viewing from the house. Large, open concept living room/dining area, well appointed kitchen, updated master bathroom. Fire pit overlooking water. Bike the quiet Weeki Wachee Gardens neighborhood on the 2 bikes provided. Great restaurants and breweries nearby. 10 minute drive to see the mermaids at Weeki Wachee Springs State Park and Buccaneer Bay Water Park. Easy day trip to Homosassa Springs State Park and Crystal River, or head south to Tampa/St. Petersburg. Or - never leave the tranquility of the house and our quiet canal!

This was my second stay at this property, and it was just as great as the first. The house was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The host was easy to communicate with and always responsive. Another wonderful stay, and I would gladly return again. Highly recommended!

This house was absolutely clean and comfortable with everything you would need and more. More comfort than home! The paddle to the river was fast and easy. We saw just as many manatee in the canals as we did the river! I cooked meals in the kitchen with ease. The host was absolutely on top of everything. The most comfortable beds I have slept in for a while. Convenient to stores and restaurants. Cannot wait to come back!!!

A smart and very well maintained property on a clean, quiet and pretty canal a short paddle from the main river. The house was fully equipped and in perfect order, the hosts communication was helpful and timely.The house has a selection of kayaks and a canoe, plus 4 bikes that are available to borrow.I would have no hesitation in staying again and would recommend it to others.

This place was perfect!! It was clean, the bed was comfortable, it was decorated beautifully and the kitchen had everything we needed. All the extras- games, kayaks, paddle boards, chairs, bikes, gas grill, fire pit, and more were extraordinary. We saw manatees and jumping fish every day right off the dock. The bonus sighting was the dolphin that swam and chased fish directly in front of dock! Perfect vacation!! We definitely want to come back to this house. Thanks for a wonderful experience!

Beautiful place. Perfect location for paddling Weeki Wachi. The dock was a great place to hang out and swim. We had paddlers paddle by and tell us they wish they stayed there. Triple thumbs up. The only advice I'd give other paddlers is to come during the week. Saturday was packed!! And half the people don't know how to paddle. But we had a great time anyway.

A beautiful well equipped home in an exceptional location. Everything we needed was provided. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood but close to stores and many restaurants. We loved kayaking almost every day. Plenty of wildlife - manatees, river otter, turtles, leaping mullets (all day and night), a variety of birds. Ray, the property manager, was quick to respond if we needed anything.

We loved our vacation at Greg & Dawn's waterfront home! The photos are accurate. Their home was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. We enjoyed our coffee/tea every morning in the screened porch or the dock. The fridge had an ice and water maker so that came in very handy in the Florida heat. We enjoyed the Keurig and the stock of coffee and tea they left for us, and the treat they left us in the fridge made us very happy! The communication with Greg was great and the instructions clear. I highly recommend their home.

We had so much fun staying here. The house itself was large, clean, and spacious with ample space to prepare and cook meals and barbecue. We also really enjoyed the screened in sunroom which was perfect for morning coffee and the large deck and patio space. The best part though was that the house came equipped with canoes, kayaks, life vests, fishing poles, bikes, and board games. It was just a short paddle to the Weeki Wachee River and we spent a lot of time checking out the many fishing spots nearby. Great for a weekend getaway.

Host was excellent! They reached out to me even before the trip to let me know everything was ready and to see if I needed anything else. House was perfect. Very clean with plenty of amenities. Perfect Oasis

Our group stayed for a small adventure but absolutely loved the family style feel of the place. The location was beautiful and we spotted manatees and crabs from the porch. It had great shopping nearby and wonderful restaurants, I recommend the hibachi. Honestly a great getaway if you're looking for a peaceful place surrounded by nature.

We live in Virginia and balance our time between kids and work, trying to get to Weeki Wachee, Florida as frequently as possible. We love the outdoors and still can't believe the beauty of the Weeki Wachee river with its crystal clear waters and amazing wildlife. The swimming can't be beat and the manatees are truly magnificent! Our long term plan is to make Weeki Wachee our permanent home. Until then, we are happy that we can give others the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of this part of the United States.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

We fell in love with Weeki Wachee, Florida in 2015 and have been coming back frequently ever since. We love the manatees and other wildlife in the neighborhood, paddling on the river, visiting the mermaids, and enjoying the great restaurants and breweries nearby. The neighborhood is quiet and the neighbors are friendly, great for morning runs, bike rides and evening walks. It is a true escape and relaxing holiday!
