We highly recommend water shoes, as the shoreline is rocky as you enter the sea.

Mahogany Point 3 stands as one of only five exclusive beachfront units, granting direct access to the pristine white sands just steps from your door. Alternatively, you can unwind on the shaded beachfront patio, savoring the gentle ocean breezes. Amidst the lush gardens surrounding the complex, a freshwater pool offers a refreshing retreat, often providing a private oasis due to the intimate scale of Mahogany Point.

Step inside this welcoming space, where extensive remodeling and tasteful redecoration have transformed the condo into a haven of modern luxury. Good Villa, Beach & Location Disappointed

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Villa is great. Well appointed, recently remodeled, very comfortable. This was our fourth time to Grand Cayman and we wanted to try a different location. Just came with my husband; left the kids at home. We were hoping the north side would be a good place to bring the kids and save some $ compared to 7 Mile. But the beach and location was disappointing. Lots of seaweed washed up on the beach, I mean whole wheel-barrows full, with the occasional trash. You can't really walk the beach much, as you'll be walking past trash and seaweed. Entering the water is a bit tricky due to the iron shore, and the reef is very close to shore, so there is not a large area of calm water; especially as you're on the windy side of the island. I'd recommend the association hire daily cleaning of the beach/grounds to remove the seaweed and trash. It really detracted from the typical tropical/paradise feel of the Island. It would be OK for a couple, wouldn't recommend for kids, as we thought if we brought our kids we'd constantly be packing them into the car and heading to Rum Point or Morrits for better beach, restaurants, etc.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful time at Mahogany Point 3 on Grand Caymen. The house was great for our group of 6. We loved the outdoor area and the kayak and paddle boards. If you come, make sure you have water shoes as the beach in front of the house has a lot of rock and coral. The house was clean upon our arrival and Chloe, the property manager, was very helpful. The only thing we had trouble with were the TVs. There were multiple remote controls, but no directions on how to use them. The tv in the upstairs bedroom didn’t even have a remote so that one was never able to be used. However, we weren’t there to watch tv. We had an amazing trip and had a lot of fun excursions on the island. We also like the fact that this property was on the north shore away from the traffic of the west side of the island. Overall, it was very enjoyable and I would recommend staying at Mahogany Point.

Relaxing, comfortable, homey, quiet

It was exactly as described and pictured and met our high expectations and exceeded them a bit in hominess and comfort. It was lovely and had most everything we wanted/needed. Not having a door on the primary bedroom upstairs is weird and uncomfortable but we knew this ahead of time and just used the other 2nd floor bedroom's bathroom. Warning: the staircase steps have short rise and run. With size 12 feet, I was forced to walk duck-foot and carefully when descending. Enough toilet paper, paper towels, kitchen sponge, dish soap and trash bags were provided for more than our 2 person 10 day stay. I used the pool only a couple times but it sure was pleasant. Property manager Chloe was very pleasant, responsive and effective. Curious how quickly we adapted to the heat/humidity - when we arrived, we needed the a/c at 75 but within a couple days, we had it at 79 or 80. HVAC worked very well. Had fabulous dinners at Tukkas East End almost every night! Used the villa's charcoal grill for one dinner - perfect! Almost all grocery shopping was done at Foster's Countryside in Savannah with minor purchases at helpful Chisholm's Grocery just up the street from the villa. We would definitely return to this villa. May 10-20, 2025.

Cayman Vacation

We truly enjoyed our stay. The views of the ocean out the big sliding glass windows was tremendous.The reef was close from the shore, and very easy to snorkel.Kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed to prepare meals.Overall a great place, highly recommend.

Perfect villa for the week

We loved everything about this house, it was perfect for our family of 5 including 3 teenagers. My two boys did not care for sharing a king bed, but other than that, it perfectly met our needs. The upstairs rooms did not have a door on the bathroom but we were able to hang a sheet blocking the toilet and shower for some privacy. The place was decorated very modern, we loved it and felt right at home, it was exactly our style. It was clean and clutter-free. Chloe was a delight to deal with, stopped by our first day and immediately got back to me with a non-urgent question. There was plenty of supplies for snorkeling and fun at the pool, including water shoes and floaties. And while the shore immediately facing our unit was rocky, just a few feet down the shore is sand and easier access. My favorite spots were the upstairs balcony and the patio off the living room, however since my kids became fast friends with the resident chickens, the animals were constantly hanging out on our patio expecting to be fed. We named the 3 smaller birds, toes (male who would peck my husband's toes!), chicken (she was shy) and sis. My kids enjoyed them quite a bit! Overall it was perfect for us!

Peaceful waterfront retreat

This property was very clean and offered waterfront, ocean views from the lower living and dining room and kitchen and the upstairs primary bedroom. Very nearby was a sandy entrance to the water and the snorkeling there was good. The manager, Chloe, was a pleasure to interact with. The neighborhood chickens were cute.

Excellent location

We really enjoyed the location of the house! Not to much traffic and close to Rum point which turned out to be one of favorite spots. We spent many morning and nights hanging out in the back deck talking and enjoying the waves crash against the shore.

Christmas in Cayman

We loved our stay except the mattress in the master front bedroom NEEDS TO BE REPLACED. We had to rearrange sleeping due to the master bed being horrible to sleep in. We actually needed to use a heating pad during the week because our backs were so sore from sleeping in it. A very uncomfortable stay. Getting any of the extra pieces out of the storage unit was difficult as well. Paddle boards, chairs, etc. too difficult to remove so we didn't use them. Other than this, we enjoyed our stay. The water from the beach is not accessible to swim in. You definitely need a swim shoe in order to get in the water in front of the house we wound up going to run point instead every day.

Northside Beachfront

Property is in process of construction and we were not informed that side walks and pool were being worked on during our stay before we left. We knew this side of the island would be rough in October and having toddlers with us we had banked on using the pool. It was not possible most days of our stay. The bath upstairs began leaking water profusely into the ceiling of the kitchen on our first day. The property manager responded quickly and the rental company gave us a small reimbursement for the trouble. The rooms had comfortable beds and the reef was very close. Small well stocked grocery store writhing walking distance. Kitchen well stocked. Cabinets made of laminate were peeling during our stay and the manager was notified. Communication was very good. Overall a beautiful stay with room for improvement in communication on the front end of what to expect regarding construction.

Relaxing North Side Getaway

Ease and comfort. Property exactly as described and reviewed by others. Key for our family was comfy beds, good view, nice kitchen, paddle boards, and good snorkeling. We were on scuba dive vacation. We have always stayed north end of 7 mile beach and looking to explore north and east side. We scuba dove every morning and snorkeled in afternoon (10 feet from house). We saw more marine life on coral heads outside the house than we did on scuba dives. The coral heads stretch a mile literally from 10 feet to 100 yards from house and all very shallow and accessible. (too bad not lobster season, they were everywhere) Special thanks to Chloe the property manger. We had dead car battery on day 2 and her husband and nephew came out to jump the car and they left us with a battery jumper just in case. We ended up needing it again and had car rental company replace the battery after that. It was no big deal to them and big deal to us. Thanks

Beautiful, relaxing spot on the North Side

We had an amazing week in this North Side hideaway. The view from the house is worth every penny! The North Side is about 45-1 hour from all of the main attractions on 7 mile- turtle experience, boat tours, large grocery, etc. But, if you’re looking for a quieter, private island kind of feel, this is the place. The snorkeling in your backyard is better than the rest of the island! We also loved the beach / restaurant at Rum Pointe, and the ambience at Kaibo. The outdoor space at the home was also amazing, as were the kayak and the paddle board. The unit itself was a bit more rundown than I expected. It was pretty fully stocked with beach towels, spices, kitchen tools, etc. however, there is only a charcoal grill, some of the light bulbs were out, the cable didn’t work, and in some spots tile was missing, or there was noticeable wear and tear. There also were not any life jackets for the kayak (safety issue), and no doors on the bathrooms in both upstairs rooms. None of these things would change our minds about staying here again, but just noted for the future. All in all, a fantastic, memorable, trip of a lifetime.

Liked the location on peaceful northside, and breezy.

The townhouse resides on quiet north shore with a gorgeous view of the ocean and if you want something right on the water could not get much closer. We loved being close to rum pt and taking advantage of the many activities, beach's, reefs, bars. Would recommend using ocean frontiers for sting ray and snorkel tour. 1/2 day trip and small group made it more personal plus they pick up at rum pt $65. Also did luminescent tour, though rather pricey for what you get. Regarding townhouse, pretty much was well represented in the pictures. There were a bunch of little things that wern't overly bothersome but made the owner aware after our visit so they could fix for others. Kayak was nice and had two paddle boards that we used. Had small weber grill but may have been nice to have a couple community gas grills. Kitchen had everything we needed. Because we are on the north side we had a few days of very strong winds and rest med wind....seemed to always blow. On the real windy days suggest going to rum pt or 7 mile beach. Great having the small grocery story just down the street but will pay a little extra for the convivence but worth it. Highlight of trip was seeing Portuguese man of war washing up on a east side beach, though very poisonous had some cool colors and shapes. Had great lions fish tacos at the Dive Bar on east side of island. I think overall it was great time, unit could use some refreshing but enjoyed the stay. LOve GRand Cayman!!

Great site

Spent five comfortable nights here with my husband and two teenagers. Plenty of attractions and restaurants near to keep us busy and well fed. Property was well kept and modern. Did not need to seek out the property manager at all!

Outstanding on the North Side

It was absolutely perfect. The house is just as described. We had a wonderful week in Grand Cayman. The house sits with 5 others. We meet several owners who were just fantastic. Staying on the Northside was perfect for us. We will definitely stay at mahogany point again.

Island Paradise

The property at Mahogany Bay 3 was just as beautiful as advertised. You are literally a few steps away from the ocean. The view from the back balcony and back porch are breathtaking. We had the pool to our selves the entire 7 days we were there and pretty much had that section of beach to ourselves as well. Grocery store is in walking distance, kitchen is fully stocked and we put the charcoal grill to good use as well. Would definitely highly recommend this property.

Loved our visit

We had such a wonderful time and the accommodations were awesome. We loved having the ocean so close to the home. We enjoyed the quietness all around us. The home had everything we needed and was very clean. There are some nice places to eat close by. We would certainly come back to stay again, for sure!

Breathtaking view, incredible vacation!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We could not say enough great things about the condo we stayed in. The view was phenomenal, the condo is huge and clean, and when we had a few questions about our stay the property manager was very quick to respond. It's on the quieter side of the island but just a short drive from the shops and dining. We would recommend anyone to stay here and wish we could have stayed longer!
