Welcome to Sun Kissed West! This cozy, small dog friendly, Ft Morgan duplex beach cottage is the perfect, affordable choice for your gulf front vacation! The first thing you'll notice when you arrive is the new, expansive deck that will provide you with spectacular sunset views! Imagine yourself on one of the Polywood lounge chairs watching the sun sink below the horizon.

This adorable cottage has an open floor plan with comfortable seating area where you'll get more of that million-dollar view. You'll find counter stools for dining and a full kitchen for fixing simple meals. For those nights when you want to dine out, you can make the 15-minute scenic drive into town or try one of many tasty local options.

The master bedroom features a king bed where you can wake up to the amazing Gulf view. The second bedroom has a full bed and a twin over twin bunk. This home has one full bath and one-half bath. Guests really appreciate the convenience of having a house right on the beach. Returning for drink refills, snacks or quick nap takes just seconds.

Fort Morgan

Located a scenic 15 miles from Gulf Shores, you'll find everything you need close at hand. Dollar General and Sassy Bass Market are just a few miles away and have all the basics you might need. There are several restaurants nearby offering a variety of tasty dishes. Tacky Jack's, Sassy Bass (2 locations), Coast and brand-new Jesse's (opening soon) to name a few. Some venues even offer live, local entertainment.

Fort Morgan fishing pier is now open, and anglers will have access to convenient inshore fishing and the abundant species locally available.

Be sure and visit nearby Bon Secour Wildlife Refuge with over 7,000 acres of coastal habit. You'll be able to hike through the preserve and observe local flora and fauna. There are 4 trails, varying in size and terrain and you'll definitely want to make time to visit this natural oasis.

Very private and peaceful location. Make sure to ride the ferry over to Daphne Island! Our dog got to go and she had the time of her life! Great little hidden gem of the gulf. Property was adequately furnished. Management was very friendly and helpful.

A Great stay

We had an absolutely lovely time at Fort Morgan and with my 3 and 11 year olds and my 66 year old father this was the perfect spot as it was nice and cozy and right on the beach. This is actually our second stay at this location and they have even updated the property since we first stayed 2 years ago. Hope to be back again!

Amazing place for a relaxing beach weekend.

Private, right on the ocean, clean, and comfortable. We laid out on the deck, watched dolphins play the the morning, enjoyed the ocean, and had a completely relaxing, wonderful weekend here that was everything we could have hoped.

I am sure it was as small as someone forgetting something and running on to get it and tracking sand in on their feet. But when you are told you cannot access property till a certain time because a cleaning crew has to clean first and then cannot walk barefoot in the unit on first entry because sand is all over, well that is annoying the first 5 minutes of your vacation. This was not just a little grit either. Otherwise spotless. 2. Not a complaint but an annoyance. Would be nice that if there is a gate at the top of the stairs as it did and was appreciated, that it had an appropriate way to keep it latched. There was a bungie chord which kept coming off when releases and was too stretched to try to tie on and then was too shorty. Had no tools so we could not bend one end around the hook to keep it on. The latter would be an easy fix for the next guest with pliers.3. If there was a third, what can you do about the whole vacation being over too **** fast?!!!We had a great time despite the weather.
