Welcome to Cottage 7, a beautifully designed one-bedroom efficiency cottage where laid-back island living meets exceptional comfort. Located on the Gulf property at Jensen's on the Gulf and surrounded by gorgeous tropical landscaping, this charming retreat is just a few hundred feet from Jensen's deeded beach.
While Cottage 7 does not offer direct Gulf-front views, you'll still enjoy the wonderful atmosphere of staying right on the Gulf property, with the beach, warm Gulf waters, and spectacular sunsets just a short stroll away.
Step inside and you'll find a thoughtfully designed space created for effortless comfort and relaxation. The cottage features a luxurious king-size bed, along with a pull-out twin, making it an inviting getaway for couples, solo travelers, or a small family.

The cottage was perfect for my quiet getaway. With just steps to the beach. Everything about the whole experience was wonderful. From the use of beach equipment to shops and restaurants nearby.

Our spot was clean, tasteful, and quiet. It was a quick walk to the beautiful beach and local restaurants/stores. We'd definitely stay again if/when we're back in Captiva. Thank you!

We loved being able to walk out to the beach without having to drive and the availability of beach chairs and umbrellas to carry with us. We also loved being able to walk to restaurants and the local grocery store nearby. Our room was pretty, comfortable and clean. It was a wonderful vacation! Thank you!

Start of a week vacation, visiting family

Very nice start of vacation, would highly recommend staying. There working hard on the recovery of the Island. If can get down and stay or just go support the businesses. Shout out to Island Store and Captiva Island Pizza.

Disappointed

Should notify about condition of island after storm - ie all restaurants closed - lockbox inoperative- key on porch - no coffees cups - one half toilet paper roll - Shocked @ cost + plus all add one vs condition of island - never would I have paid that price had I known!!

Awful Experience

Awful! There were bugs everywhere, even on the bathroom towels. We tried calling the property manager via phone calls, text messages, emails and no one responded until 2 days later. They even sent us the wrong code to the lock box to get the keys to the unit. Will not be staying at any of their rentals.

We have a professional pest control service who was called out to this property and found no bugs what so ever. Property is treated inside and out quarterly and we have had no previous complaints. As well, we have a 24/ emergency line that is answered with on call after hours. You were sent check in instructions via text and email 60 days prior to your arrival. We will be reaching out to you to discuss this review and your experience.

The description of location was not accurate. There was no beach view. Pictures focused on building by actual beach and not this place. It faced a street and was surrounded by trees and shrubbery. Screened in porch in pictures lead out to street view not a beach.
