This condo is a renovation on an old beach hotel. The first thought entering the unit was that it is absolutely adorable. The renovations and the decorating are well done. The place was absolutely spotless. Plenty of supplies like toilet paper and towels were there for us. There were even beach towels and chairs that we didn’t get to enjoy because of rain, but they were there.The bed upstairs is very comfortable. The owners communicate regularly through the whole process. We didn’t have any problems, but it felt like we would’ve gotten an instant reply if we did. We highly recommend this unit.

Absolutely loved the vibe. Old beachside motel with rooms remade into 2 floor units. So much nicer than tearing them down. I grew up on St Simons Island where all the old motels and 90% of the classic beach cottages have been replaced with condos excepting East Beach. I hate to even visit now. Very short walk to lovely beach. Walking distance to pier. Warning for folks with impaired mobility: Narrow spiral staircase to 2nd floor although if you wanted to leave the door to the shared balcony off the bedroom unlocked you could have a much easier climb. Wish we had more time to explore the Jax Beach area but were there just 2 nights (for funeral) and did not check out any local eateries. Could also have used directions on how to turn the shower on as I was clueless (hey I still have to say lefty loosey, righty tighty) fortunately husband figured it out. Plenty of hot water and linens, very clean. Overall, an enthusiastic recommendation- particularly for people who enjoy "different" and "vintage" instead of forgettable could be anywhere feel

Super enjoyed it!

Wonderful area! We loved it so much we plan to go back next year. Gary and Rachel were super easy to get a hold of and enjoyed getting to know them! Can wait for our JAX beach trip next year!

Very clean and had everything we needed for the weekend. 2 minute walk to the beach. Very nice pool. Communication with property manager was wonderful.

Great for a weekend for 2!

My wife and I stayed here for the weekend as we were in town to see a comedian. The space was perfect for the two of us. It was within walking distance to many restaurants and bars. Also just steps away from the beach! We had a great weekend!

This was a great stay for a wknd getaway: a gated property, with private access to the beach just steps away, a nice pool, all the needed amenities. The hosts are quick to respond and very nice. We will definitely look into booking again on our next trip!

Old School Modern

This place was perfect for our long weekend. It was an old style beach motel redone into a modern beach side apartment. Nicely decorated and clean. Gated parking right next to the beach with its own beach access. Walking distance to food, easy driving distance to everything. We’ll definitely be back if we find ourselves in the Jacksonville Beach area again.

Cozy

This top and bottom apartment is an excellent cozy getaway right next to the ocean. Paired with a cool pool adds cherry on top. I had a great time staying here for a couple days soaking in the sun and the ocean. The apartment was clean and very well laid out. Having one and half bath was also very convenient. Situated in a quiet part of Jacksonville Beach, this location cannot be beat. I will be back again very soon.

Close to the beach

Nice location, it only has window units… if you want “plush” this isn’t it. Good location, super close to the beach, but lacking in “creature comforts”. Says can sleep 4…no… it’s 2 only.

Thank you for staying with us James, we are so sorry you were not satisfied with your stay! You are correct, this is not a Ritz Carlton and we definitely do not charge as if it were. “Plush” beach front locations will run you about $700-$1,000/night and are about 1/2 of the square footage we provide with this space. We offer a nice, home-ish accommodation, at a SUPER comfortable price! Also, our A/C units are very similar to what you would find at a hotel which is standard for multi-unit buildings that do no have central air and duct work. We provide a queen bed and a double fold out sofa, so it does actually accommodate 4 guests if needed. We would suggest for future reference that you look through the photos provided, and the description as well, to ensure the place is what you are looking for, PRIOR to booking. We wish you the best and hope this experience will serve well in helping you familiarize yourself with any future listings before you book. Best Regards, The Randalls

Safe and Convenient to Beach

The property was easy to find, even at night. Conveniently located at the beach with beach access right from the parking lot. The spiral staircase is a bit tricky to navigate if carrying a suitcase. There are not outlets in the bathrooms, but a movable mirror was provided in the bedroom with a nearby outlet. The bed and other furniture was very comfortable and provided a good night's sleep.

Janet and her adult son did not stay with us. They booked hastily and thought they were renting a 2 bedroom. They arrived and realized it was not and then made up 3 different lies to try and get out of their reservation. First people were fighting in the parking lot, next there were bugs and lastly there were drugs on the floor! What they didn’t know is we would have worked with them if they were honest nice people but we don’t bend to manipulation or hatefulness.

Perfect spot for a beach vacation

This particular unit faces the secure parking lot. Parking is directly in front of unit. This is an older building, likely a motel in the distant past. It is clean and convenient to the beach. If you have more than a couple of beach chairs, we recommend bringing a beach cart. The bed upstairs was comfortable; however, the pullout couch was not, so we purchased a 4" memory foam topper which we took home for a guest bedroom. Plenty of drivable restaurants with live music and a few within walking distance. The beach was beautiful and the pool was also very nice. Beach chairs were provided, but we brought our own. Owners responded quickly to any questions.

Great time this week. All amenities needed were at condo. Right on the beach plus a pool. Close to everything and secure location. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a getaway to Jax Beach.
