This attractive suite is the perfect place to call home during a fun-filled beach getaway with someone you love! Spend your days in the cool waters of the Atlantic then come home to rinse away the sand with the private washer/dryer. Explore the many on-site amenities that include a shared pool, sauna, and tennis. You can entertain your guests in the living area or out on the private balcony before serving up a delicious meal prepared in the full kitchen.

The Golden Sands, located in Ocean City, offers everything a vacationer could want without needing to leave the building complex. Enjoy the beach, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis, oceanfront volleyball, and game and exercise rooms. During the summer season, you can visit the beach bar and grill, the sandwich shop, the convenience store, and our gift shops.

This beachfront condo is ideally located within walking distance of various dining and shopping options; you can also take the bus for hassle-free travel to your favorite destinations. The historic Ocean City Boardwalk, with its carnival atmosphere, great food, and superb nightlife, is located five miles south. You can also plan a fun family day at Jolly Roger Amusement Park and Splash Mountain Waterpark, only four miles south.

Things to Know
The building provides complimentary WiFi as a courtesy, but it is not guaranteed.
Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Okay

This condo was okay.. outdated but it had what we needed .. the view is beautiful but Golden Sands is extremely strict. When using the indoor pool the staff came in repeatedly and yelled at my kids. She screamed at them for being too loud. They were just playing Marco Polo and all the kids in the pool were playing together. And all the parents were present while they played. It may seem loud because it echos but they weren’t loud. The elevator takes forever to get anywhere and the beach is really packed because theres so many condos in Golden Sands. I probably wont stay there again because of how crowded and strict Golden Sands were.

Great location

I loved the building amenities. There is a great pool with convenient restrooms, a tiki bar/restaurant, lounge areas, beach volleyball and pickleball/tennis courts. The condo is cute

Perfect Getaway

The unit could be updated with a new TV in the bedroom and it was hard trying to change the channels on it. Perhaps the owners can supply a channel guide to let renters know what channels are available to watch. Also, a deep cleaning of the whole unit would be a good idea in the near future. However, we enjoyed our time there - especially for the price we paid, ease of check-in and check-out, and location.

Won’t return.

Just a awful experience. The unit was so dirty. Everything in this place needs updated. We couldn’t wait to leave. Worst vacation experience ever.

Was properly described . Did not realize that there was no TV other than 1 channel. Great views, plenty of activities, lots of room. Tiki hut services need a good manager.

Don’t stay here

Bed and sofa bed are both bought in the 80s and are not comfortable. Door in bathroom cabinet is hanging off the hinge. Decor in the condo is also from the 80s. Ceiling light in hall way entrance was missing. I put a light bulb in it and it still didn’t work. Owner and renter, Vacasa need to spend some money to update and repair this condo.

Old unit in desperate need of updates.

Best thing about this unit is the ocean view and proximity to the beach. There is no Wi-Fi in the unit itself, and you must rely on the building Wi-Fi, which never works unless you are in the lobby. Unit has only 5 drinking glasses, but enough mugs & silverware. All kitchen appliances need updating. Unit was also not particularly clean, as there was sand in the bathtub, and in the carpeting throughout. Would definitely not stay here again.

Decent condo

View was wonderful as expected! Condo was good. Provided pretty much everything you need. Wifi was terrible and could not get connected. Called Vasca twice and promised to call back - no call back. Not sure if I’d use Vasca again as did not help with issue.

Could only get access to internet outside the unit. Which was a problem since I rented thinking I would have access for work. I didnt and no one seemed to care. Someone had put some type of paper down kitchen sink and it was backing up til I pulled it out. Fan in bathroom was VERY loud when on. I won't be renting through Vacasa again

Worst Experience Renting a Vacation Home - zero stars

Over 20 years we have swapped time shares or rented on VRBO. This condo was BY FAR THE WORST RENTAL WE HAVE EVER HAD! The pictures do not accurately portray the unit. I have photos of my own and wish I could post here. The unit is filthy and needs a deep, deep cleaning. It needs more than the quick cleaning before renters arrive. However, even that cleaning wasn’t great. The unit is worn and dated. Clearly has not been updated in this century, which if things are clean and work would not be a problem. 1. Bedroom - entered to see a tired bed, decor and furniture from 80’s. Sheets on the bed, but no blanket of any type. Two worn and old blankets were balled up on the floor in the closet with old, stained pillows, beach chairs and other stuff. About a half inch of dust on the mini blinds, a tv from the 90’s. Pillows on bed not even usable. Thick carpet worn and stained all over. Immediately went out to TJ Max and purchased a blanket, two pillows and pillow cases. $75. Oh…and the air conditioning unit is located by the front door / bedroom closet and when it turns on it sounds like someone is banging the unit door in. Happy sleeping. 2. Bathroom - NOTHING has been updated in the bathroom. The vanity is broken and parts are rusting, left door hanging sideways, right door doesn’t open at all. Was trying to find a box of tissues, no luck. Ceiling by air conditioning vent is black with dirt and soot and has dust balls hanging on ceiling. Light fixture above vanity covered with dust. Tub / shower HAS MOLD GROWING ON THE GROUT, Gobs of caulk, stains all over and a shower head that does two things, pressure wash spray or half spray. When I showed the woman in the Vacasa office, she physically grimaced at the photo. 3. Kitchen - food splatters on walls, down stove front, side of fridge. Rust all down side of fridge. Smears on cabinets and under cabinets over counter. Trash bin lid filthy. Silverware in drawer dirty, even the dish drying rack was filthy. Had to clean it before I could use it. Grid ceiling with rust on metal and panels loose. Coffee maker base rusted, didn’t make hot coffee. Went out and bought a coffee maker $32. The only way to open dishwasher is to drag the door down the wall. At least I know where that big mark comes from. 4. Entry / living area - the carpet is stained, worn and disgusting. More black soot ? On the ceiling near air conditioning vent. Cannot sit on couch or chair. Both worn, stained, dirty, old. Luckily the two chairs on balcony were semi comfortable, I brought one of those inside to sit on when needed. Glass top dining table had smears and smudges all over it. Not sure how the cleaning people could miss that. Light out in entry hallway. We found a bulb and changed it, but still didn’t work. I did call Vacasa and she said they could send a maintenance person up and did I want to be in the room when they arrived. I didn’t want anyone I room when we weren’t there and didn’t want to stay in there a minute longer than I needed to so I declined. 5. Wi-Fi - the guest WiFi is horrible. Pretty much need to use your cellular while you’re there and it’s crowded. 6. Four elevators for huge building - basically on busy days, you ride the elevator up just to get down. They provide blue rolling tubs for move in. Most I saw were filthy in the bottom. No way was I putting my belongings in there. We loaded the car Friday night instead of enjoying our last night so we could get out Saturday morning. The elevators were a cluster in the morning. 7. Room Keys - it’s a real key. No key pad. A key attached to a card with the name of the building and your ROOM NUMBER ON IT? If you lose your key, you better figure it out quick before someone picks it up and cleans out your belongings. Why did we stay? There was no where else to go and we already spent over $300 a night on it. There was / is ONE review online for this room. It is a five star review wi...

No Wi-Fi

No Wi-Fi anywhere in the building. The condo was generally clean except in the bathroom there were long hairs on the floor that did not belong to us. There is mold under the caulking In the bathtub. Minor but on the porch the inside of the balcony glass was so dirty we could hardly see the ocean. Next time we will look for somewhere else.

Not Happy

The pictures I chose from looked great. The condo was not. The beige carpet was stained everywhere, red wine and black dirt. the bathroom shower was rusted and I wore flip flops in the shower. I complained to Vascara and sent them pictures. They agreed and helped me move to another condo. Vascara was wonderful and Suzie was extremely accommodating. We were very happy in our new room. They said they would clean the carpet and re-grout the bathroom. Check that out before you stay there.

Clean the room.
