A Disappointment
These were the issues:
The landlord misrepresented the size of the apartment - it was only 700 ft.², (as confirmed by county records), rather than the 1000 ft.² that was described. Apartment size was an inducing factor to our rental as we had just sold our apartment and needed space to hold some stuff the movers couldn't carry.
The oven never worked during the entire month we were there and only 2 of 5 stove top burners were functional.
The temperature control in the shower was inoperative causing water to be very, very hot and uncontrollable.
Contary to advertisement there was no air-conditioning.
The owner sent repairmen along to fix these issues but they were not successful.
The ocean view was great as was the parking space, but the apartment had been poorly maintained.
Entry and exit from the shower and tub would be of concern for anyone with mobility issues.
Overall it was a very unpleasant experience about which the owner was very unsympathetic.
