This newly renovated two-bedroom second-floor condo at El Cortez is decorated in beach life with shades of blue and grey. You will love the open floor plan, spacious living area and bedrooms with ocean life décor carried throughout. Gather everyone in the living room to watch a movie on the large TV while lounging on the couch or rocker/recliners. The kitchen is equipped with everything needed to prepare meals such as spacious countertops, white cabinets, and appliances, a drip coffee maker, dishes, basic pots, pans, and utensils. Enjoy meals at the dining table with seating for six and additional seating for three at the breakfast bar. Take your coffee out to the balcony to sip in the ocean breeze. The master bedroom (BR1) consists of a King bed, nightstands, chest, walk-in closet, armchair and TV. The ensuite bathroom holds a pedestal sink and tiled shower. The guest bedroom (BR2) is made up of two Queen beds, a nightstand, TV and a walk-in closet with shelving for clothes. The bathroom contains a tiled vanity and a tiled tub/shower unit and a stackable washer/dryer for your use during your stay. Cool off in the shared pool or sit under the covered area with shared charcoal grills for cooking up the day's catch. Take advantage of the easy access to the beach by using the new boardwalk for walking and golf carts. El Cortez is just five minutes from Port Aransas offering a variety of restaurants, shops, nightlife, and fishing charters.

Great Stay!

We had a great time at this property! Beach access with our golf cart was easy, the beach was well maintained and the condo was clean and well appointed! The bedrooms were very spacious! The kitchen had everything you need and the pool was sparkling and so close. We can’t wait to come back!

Great location off Central Aransas

We stayed here for a short stop during a tour of Texas. This was a great location for some quiet time with the family. Beach was an easy walk, super quiet area. Little outside of main restaurant areas, which we liked as it wasn't as busy as the middle of the town. Would absolutely return and stay at the same location!

Nice basic condo

Nice basic condo. Two very large bedrooms. Bathroom in the king bedroom is extremely small, no counter space at all. Beds comfortable. Decor is outdated, but overall, it was fine. Check in and out a breeze.

Fun Friends trip

Was a cute place, we really enjoyed our time. There were some issues , in Master Bath the towel holder was coming out of the wall and the shower was moldy. Also we saw some roaches. Also there needs to be a larger property sign , I had a very hard time finding it, especially with the new construction going on in front.

Disappointed

I honestly feel like this place was oversold. I don’t want to go into detail and bash the property owners, but the description wasn’t exactly reality. I don’t think I’d choose this place to stay again.

The good and the bad.

The good: The location was good for what we needed it for (being near family’s rental). The proximity to the boardwalk was also nice. The A/C worked well. The couches we clean and comfy. The beds were comfy. It was quiet. Plenty of room for our 4. The bad: I called and texted multiple times that there was blood on bathroom sink when we arrived, lots of ants, and the bedroom doorframe was busted. I never received a single response. Not one!! Someone came in the property without anyone reaching out to let us know they would be coming. I assume it was a pest guy. But really?? You’re not going to let the renters know someone would be coming into their space. Roaches. Some dishes still had food on them and some cabinets had food on them. The property in general needs a lot of repairs. They updated the inside but only so much you can do when the property itself is in need. Master comforter had a brown stain. The pillows had what looked to be blood stains on them. No extra pillow cases to be found for the extra pillows provided. No reviews for the pool because we didn’t use it. There never seemed to be anyone there though.

Cute Condo

Stayed Easter weekend for a small getaway. Condo was the perfect size and had everything we needed. The rooms were bigger than expected and the restrooms were big enough. We had no issues with anything breaking or going wrong with the condo. Check in and out was super simple. The walk was about 10 mins from the condo down the boardwalk. It’s such a cute little community and nice/quiet environment. It’s also not too far from restaurants and stores. The only complaint would be some of the bed linens were visibly stained and the decorative pillows were dirty and unwashed but we always bring our own linens anyway. Other than that the property was great and would recommend staying for anyone.

At Life In Paradise, we do use commercial washing machines and dryers to ensure our linens and towels are clean and fresh. Our policy is to dispose of items that are stained or discolored.
