Amazing quality time our best friends!Two master suites for the adults and two nice size bedrooms for all the kids to share! Plenty of water toys to keep the kids entertained (kayaks / paddle board / waterTrampoline) fire pit and crabbing!!! We caught 17 crabs right off the dock and they had everything you needed in the house to make full meals for our families. We will definitely be coming back asWe didn’t have time for the Calvert statePark or the winery that was right down the street. Overall great experience!

The pictures of the house did not do it justice. It was larger than we thought and very spacious in the kitchen for our family to eat . We could spread out all over the first floor. We enjoyed the front screened in porch very much . The only thing I was not aware of was how the house was up on a hill . We only parked one vehicle up there. However that being said there’s plenty of parking as you drive in for our children to park. The dock was amazing. Spent a lot of time on it fishing and we kayaked every day . Beautiful area and we would definitely revisit this awesome home. Our host was so easy to get a hold of with any questions. Oh and the beach was great for our three grandchildren to play on . Very family oriented!Our two dogs were also comfortable there. One more thing is the master bedroom on the first floor was wonderful. So nice having a sitting room and large bathroom. My children were very happy upstairs with the three bedrooms and two bath !Thank you ,Peggy C

Our family had such a great time in this beautiful home! Having access to the water with kayaks, crab traps, and fishing was amazing. this home was very clean and had a stocked kitchen and plenty of linen. Highly recommend to stay here and look forward to visits in the future!

The property outside and inside was very dirty. We ended up cleaning everywhere on our vacation. Totally unacceptable.When we relayed the issues to the contact person we were told they were sorry and that they were contacting the cleaning team to change things for the next renters. Didn’t help us at all. It would have been a wonderful action by the owners to give us a refund on the cleaning fee as it Was very expensive and was totally unacceptably dirty.Also there were jelly fish in the water and no mention of this on the website. Even if they weren’t poisonous it could have been. a Very Serious and traumatic situation if our 2 year old grandson was stung.And it was very odd that there were no shades or curtains on the bedroom windows to keep the evening and morning sun out to let young people and older people sleep peacefully. Also there was mold in the washing machine. Disgusting.The place was beautiful but the overall experience was disappointing. This place needs some serious attention.Barbara and Family

When you contacted us, we promptly notified our cleaning team, and we have since completed a thorough inspection and addressed the concerns you reported, including the washing machine. Jellyfish can appear seasonally in Chesapeake Bay waters, depending on natural conditions. We understand how unexpected this may have been and will make this information clearer for future guests. We also appreciate your feedback regarding the bedroom window coverings and are reviewing options to improve guests’ comfort and privacy. Thank you for recognizing the beauty of the property. Private beach and fishing/crabbing!

We had a lovely stay at the property. The rooms were very spacious and the master suite had amazing lighting. We enjoyed eating outside every morning and watched the water roll up on the private beach. We crabbed and fished from the pier, took the kayaks out and played on the private beach. It was a great time and a lovely property.

Excellent girls weekend

An amazing, secluded property that is perfect for a family or friends getaway. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and there were plenty of bathrooms. The property could improve by having additional toilet paper, shower toiletries, and towels, but the kitchen was very well stocked and there was plenty of seating. It really is a great house.

Family Trip

This was the perfect home for family Trip in terms of the space and layout. We had a very enjoyable time in the home and using the amenities provided, especially the Kayaks. The only thing we were bummed about was that we could not swim in the water, nor was there any swimmable water mass nearby.

Beautiful property for a nice family getaway

We really enjoyed this beautiful property for an extended family Thanksgiving weekend. While navigating to the house was a little confusing, once we were settled in, it was awesome. The kitchen and eating areas were perfect for what we needed. Plenty of space with two tables and two counter seating areas. While the weather was a little cold for spending a lot of outside time, the grounds were still great for taking in the stunning and peaceful river views. In warmer weather, I can imagine taking advantage of outdoor seating areas plus charming and quiet atmosphere.

Beautiful Spot and Tidal Creek Living

This is a beautiful house, set up high on the banks of St. Leonard's Creek. Two families of 4 fit easily. The house keeps kayaks and lots of yard games on a lower grassy-lawn level. Also a fire pit with fire wood in the cabana. It made it super easy to just show up and play. Really nice tidal creek community, super quiet and calm waters to paddle around in. Would absolutely stay again!

Beautiful spot for family gathering

We gathered our children and grandchildren together at this lovely house after not being able to get together since Thanksgiving. The house is comfortable and spacious, and the view is magnificent. The grandkids enjoyed the dock and beach and the screened-in game room by the shore. The only problem we encountered is that the access code sent to us by VRBO was not correct. We called the owner, and got an immediate response. We look forward to returning to this house again!
