TIME TO ENJOY FAMILY

Family came from all around the globe, this stay was a once on a year event. Each year a different location, but this was a very memorable stay because see of your sights and laid back atmosphere, and the warm hospitality of the local businesses. A friendly sense of family and togetherness in the community

This place was perfect for 23 guys. Great kitchen/tv area. Plenty of rooms and bathrooms so we never felt cramp. Perfect location!

Great house for large groups and families

We had 10 adults and 3 children and for comfortably in this house. The furnishings are nice and the house is in great condition. We plan to stay here again

Family trip

Was nice we enjoyed the beach we had to clean up around the pool before we used it. Leaves and table was dirty. Cushions were dirty and torn. Several things broken inside.

Wintertime get together.

Spacious, seven bedrooms allowed privacy. Met the needs of our group...long table gave us the room needed to play games and eat together. Kitchen was stocked for the cooking we decided to do. Convenient to restaurants we favored.

Spacious

Overall this house had everything that we needed and was big enough for our group of 20. short walk to the beach which was so nice. This property could use more cleaning around the beds, headboards , mattress pad( there was hair and stains) and comforter.

Vacation

We loved the house!!! Super convenient to the beach (especially with the kids). Family loved the pool. Parking was easy. House was plenty big enough. Loved having the bathrooms attached to each bedroom.

Stayed for Springbreak

The property was amazing! Even better than the pictures. So spacious and clean. Walking distance to the beach. My kids love the house and how close we were to the beach! Didn’t really use the pool as it was too cold! Will come back again in the summer!

Golf trip

Spacious- clean-difficult to communicate with realty company- I.e. couldn’t check in until 4:30 and office closed at 5 so any questions on the first evening went unanswered

Fantastic Property!!

Plenty of room for all of our 15 person group. Bathrooms in every bedroom. Plenty of seating, clean pool and decks. Walls could use a cleaning, but overall very tidy. Minor repairs such as doorknobs and faucet handles, but overall a great place! We would definitely come back!

Great place for the family

This beach house was a great place for my extended family and our adult children to stay for the week. It is a quick, easy walk to the beach and we love that you can walk straight out and don't have to climb stairs to access the beach, which is a big win as we had the grandparents with us. The place has TONS of sleeping arrangements and could accommodate a HUGE group. The only downside was that we had 12 people in our group and the place slept 24 and there were enough plates, cups, silverware for our group but any larger groups and not sure there would have been enough dishware for them and you would definitely have to eat in shifts. Otherwise the place had everything that you could need and was just what we needed. The pool is a good size and very nice to relax in. Overall, I would highly recommend this beach house.

A wonderful time was had

This was our first family trip to South Carolina. It was wonderful. The house was spacious enough for all 19 of us. We loved the pool and the short walk to the beach!! We apparently didn’t understand the linen package. We thought by purchasing the linen package the beds would be made for us, however we worked together to make get them all made. The air conditioner on third floor stopped working and the rooms became very hot quickly. After a few calls and one hot night of sleeping, the problem was fixed. All in all we had a great vacation with lots of laughs and wonderful memories.

Large Family Reunion

We and other family and friends were in town for a Celebration of Life service. 18 of us stayed here with others dropping by and the house was comfortable for that. It’s a newer house with bathrooms in each bedroom which allowed for added privacy. There wasn’t time to enjoy the pool but it was nice to have it as an option. The house is close to the beach and we rented a golf cart to enjoy the restaurants nearby. All the basic necessities were there but a few added supplies would have been nice (a couple of rolls of paper towels, a few trash bags, more or larger soap, small dish detergents, etc) We cooked there almost every meal so a couple of dish towels wasn’t sufficient for a 4 day stay. A few beach chairs would have been nice as well as we had a lot of people that flew in. Overall we loved the stay but I would warn that when I was searching for homes IN (not near) Ocean Lakes, I came across this booking. It appeared in the search as if I was viewing homes onsite when they were actually outside the campground. A family member that stayed in Ocean Lakes was given a survey upon checkout and this “scam” was mentioned on it. Scam may be a bit harsh as I’ve always been happy with VRBO bookings but I did find it misleading at best. The service was held in OL because it held special meaning for our family so we found that to be very disappointing.
