Enjoy views of the sparkling blue Atlantic waters at this stylish condo nestled directly on the beach at The Riggings condos. Walk just steps to spend the day by the waves, or soak up the sun at the on-site pool. Highlights include an oceanfront balcony, stunning coastal views, and a modern interior with new appliances and furnishings throughout.

The Fort Fisher walking trail and State Historic Site being at a small beach to the side of the property. After a fun-filled beach day, unwind in the stylish living area, furnished with a sofa and two armchairs. Watch a new movie on the cable TV. Home chefs will appreciate the upscale kitchen, equipped with a full suite of appliances. Sip morning coffee at the kitchen bar, outfitted with seating for three. When your culinary creations are complete, dine together at the table set for four. Take in spectacular ocean views from the covered beachfront balcony, outfitted with seating for four at the table. Soak up the sun by the unheated complex pool , open from Memorial Day through September. Shared charcoal grills are available near the parking area.

This is the most southernmost condo on Pleasure Island with unobstructed views of both the Atlantic and Fort Fisher State Park. Walk just steps to the ocean from this beachfront condo on the North Carolina shore! Nearby attractions include the Fort Fisher State Historic Site, the Fort Fisher walking trail, and the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher. In the summer, enjoy free concerts by the Kure Beach Pier and at the Fort Fisher Air Force Recreation Center. A plethora of restaurants, shops, and convenient amenities are available within a short drive north in Wilmington Beach.

Staying on the Ocean

What a fantastic location, right on the ocean. Our views were stunning. Sunrises & sunsets were particulary goregous. The accommodations felt homey & new. We only wished the bathroom was more modern. Thank you for a great vacation.

Excellent stay

Excellent stay with my children! Would definitely return! Convenient location next to Fort Fisher with walking path. Was pleased with stocked items provided (I.e. laundry and dish detergent, paper towels, hand soap) and kitchen supplies. I may have overlooked it but pot holders/oven mitt and a spatula are needed. Absolutely loved sitting on the porch swing.

This condo was very comfortable, and the location at the end of the Kure Beach strip was great was perfect for us (two older adults). Walkway to Ft. Fisher was steps away, as was a small area of beach. The walkway also led to a wide beach further up. Beautiful view from our side of the building (see photo). The balcony was so comfortable and close to the ocean, it was like sitting on the beach except cooler and less sandy!Although the condo has a great bunkbed setup, not sure the location would appeal to people with small children. The ocean comes right up to the building, and the beach to the left of the building is fairly narrow and eroded. Big rocks all along it.Was less than impressed with Vacasa. Despite the many emails and texts, our key code didn't work, the router and other electronics were unplugged and difficult to reassemble, the wi-fi name and password were wrong, and the parking pass wasn't where it was supposed to be. We got prompt assistance when we called about each of these issues; however, checkout instructions sent on the last day contradicted what had been sent earlier and what was posted. I couldn't get a response from customer service until 1.5 hours after we checked out (Sunday). We ended up doing more "chores" than we needed to.Despite that, we'd come back just because of the sweet condo and the great location.

Peace and Quiet at Island's End

This unit is one of three ocean-front at the southernmost end of Pleasure Island, and staying here was lovely. The building is steps away from the beginning of Ft. Fisher state park, so you don't have neighbors to the right. It also pushes the boundaries of "ocean-front", as high tide nearly touches the building foundations. If you love the sound of the surf, you'll be happy here.I was there in the off-season, so the quiet I had probably isn't the case during the summer, but the condo complex wasn't overwhelming large.The unit itself is on the older side, but it's clearly been recently updated and decorated so it's very comfortable and just pleasant to wake up in. Check-in was very easy, no problems, and everything was clean and tidy when I arrived.I wish I could have stayed longer!

Beautiful views!

This property provided a great week at the beach for our family. The views could not have been more spectacular. There were a few items not provided adequately, but nothing we couldn’t purchase, and nothing that took away from our overall enjoyment. As the beach right in front of the property is quite eroded, we found a nice little beach just a short walk away at the Fort Fisher State Park - just perfect for us! The beach along the front of the property was not suitable for sitting out for much of the day, but was super for looking for shells in the rocky areas. We highly recommend!

Amazing condo

We absolutely loved the condo, it was very clean and met all our vacation needs. We did have to call for assistance unlocking the key box, and we received help right away. Once in we didn't want to leave. Highly recommend.

You can’t get closer to the ocean!

Very comfortable and comforting condo on the very south end of Kure Beach. The Fort Fisher Rec Area is steps away. Nice walkways. Easy parking. Easy to get into the combination front door. Happily surprised to see the condo had supplies ( dishwasher soap, laundry soap, hand soap, paper towels, toilet paper, etc ). I interacted with vacasa via text messages, and via phone, and the maintenance staff in person. All were friendly, polite, and professional.

Perfect Location!

Spectacular views

Shore Am Happy at Riggins was extremely clean and provided amazing views of the ocean. Beach erosion was evident with little access to beach when tide is high.

Fabulous Views!

This unit is quite the gem, it's the last building before you hit Fort Fisher State Park so it has an unobstructed view. The water actually comes under the 2nd balcony so at high tide you don't even see the beach, it's like being on an Ocean Liner. It's a stone throw to the State park, the Aquarium and you can walk to the Fort Fisher Battlegrounds. Just minutes away is the Fort Fisher Ferry to Southport. It's just a few miles from Carolina Beach and Bald Head Island. If you want total peace and quiet.. this is the place. There is a small market at Fort Fisher Boulevard and K Street (way overpriced for the convenience) but there is a Food Lion and Publix in Carolina Beach. We stayed here in August and again in November and plan to come back.

Kure Beach "The Last House On The Left" away from the hustle and bustle of Carolina Beach so quiet with views you only dream about. Back home now and I can still hear the waves crashing ashore.

Family Vacation
