Surprised condo is on a Wyndam property
I have stayed at this specific Wyndam property for the last 4 years & have not had any issues until this one. The check-in was at 4pm & if you wanted an earlier check-in you had to pay an additional fee. The room seemed nice, but the couch was broken. There was wood shoved in the bottom, clearly showing it had been repaired some time before we arrived. The fans in the bathroom had dust hanging off of them, which should never be an issue such a ridiculously high cleaning fee. We reported these issues the next morning with pictures & the bathroom fans were immediately addressed. The couch, however, was not & provided an extremely uncomfortable stay. A contractor came to look at the couch at 3pm the day before we left the next morning, agreed that a new couch was needed, put more wood & screws in it and left. My husband needed to use the washer during our stay. When he opened it & used it, the condo smelled like mold for the rest of our stay as well as his clothes. We didn't report it to the property manager because we couldn't get the couch issue resolved so why bother? Spending so much money for such a bad experience made no sense to me, so I asked for 60% of our money back. They offered us 7% which I took & have apparently reviewed me as a guest which has never happened before & seems retaliatory since we now have an issue that wasn't properly resolved. We have been renting from them since 2022, so understand that this could be you if you rent a condo from them.
