If you like smoking marijuana inside then this is not the rental for you especially if you’re smoking with your children inside. There is a $250 smoking fee imposed on me by the association. No smoking policy is clearly layed out in multiple places in the listing and multiple places inside and outside of the condo. This rule is agreed upon before any renter books the condo. The mouse issue has been addressed by a pest control company as a precaution however we do not have a washing machine in the condo or even in the entire building. This was the first time in 3 years that I’ve had to charge an extra cleaning fee as my cleaner charged me an extra $40 for the way the condo was left. It took her 3 trips to air out the condo of marijuana smell and wash every linen/towel so the next guests wouldn’t notice. There were also 2 additional guests staying that were not reported when booking. I always allow for early check in and late check out when available, as I did this time, but Sarah ruined that for all future guests. My cleaner did not have sufficient time to clean the condo and meet expectations for our next guest. Check out instructions are simple and standard but if you leave marijuana stems/seeds and sand all over the floor, dresser, bed and kitchen there may be an extra cleaning fee. A week was given to pay the extra cleaning fee and smoking fee. When they were not paid, a damage claim had to be made per VRBO recommendation.
