Overlooking the charming Carlo Emanuele Square, this bright and elegant flat is the perfect home base for your stay in Turin—whether you’re here to explore, study, or work. Step outside and dive straight into the city’s vibrant rhythm: cafés, restaurants, museums, and boutiques are all within easy reach.

The apartment sits in the heart of the former Jewish ghetto, a place rich in history and atmosphere. Inside, exposed wooden ceilings and carefully selected furnishings create a sense of warmth and authenticity—an ideal retreat after a day in the city.

Through a small entrance, you enter a spacious living room with an open kitchen, perfect for cooking and relaxing. The flat features two independent sleeping areas, each with its own double bedroom and bathroom, offering privacy and comfort for families or two couples.

Completely renovated in 2022, the apartment combines style with sustainability: smart thermostatic valves, a high-efficiency heat pump, low-energy appliances, full LED lighting, and triple-glazed wooden windows that are both energy-efficient and soundproof. Eco-friendly materials—like water-based paints and natural wood floors—reflect our commitment to comfort and the environment. Hygiene is also key, with suspended sanitary ware and an air-conditioning system equipped with anti-Covid filtration. The building’s façade was restored at the end of 2022.

This flat exceeded my expectations in every way It was so nice to meet Elena who met us at the apartment upon our arrival. She showed us around and told us that she and her husband would be available if we had any problems or concerns. But we didn't have any issues. Everything was perfect!

The apartment is beautiful. It has a few quirks based on the age of the building. The location is also great for touring the historic district. It is all walkable. Access was easy. The hosts were very communicative. It has a lift which is helpful. The only caveat is that the apartment is located above several restaurants and bars that stay open until 2- 3 am Friday and Saturday nights so it’s quite loud if you try to sleep before then. Otherwise, I would recommend it.

Elena welcomed us warmly and oriented us to the amenities and facilities. The apartment was spotless and designed very well! We loved the location on the square. It was easy walking from there to many other spots or just enjoying our piazza. Two very modern bathrooms and two bedrooms were perfect. All the plumbing, hot water, washing machine , dishwasher, induction cooktop worked well with no glitches. We loved this place and Torino! Thank you Elena and Enrico!! Gina

From start to finish the hospitality of Elena and her husband, Enrico, was outstanding. When my partner ended up being hospitalized unexpectedly for a heart condition the day of our check-in, she made sure to meet me personally. (Just a quick note…be careful taxi drivers may want to drop you off too early at the first, #2 via Luigi…there is a second further down—Elena met me at the incorrect site and helped bring my luggage to the apartment.)Elena provided a thorough orientation, explaining use of keys, elevator, area, contacting them, and provided an incredible spreadsheet of local restaurants, shops, and sites which was very useful! Probably the best orientation any site manager has ever provided. Definitely a 5 experience.The site itself was lovely…filled with oriental antiques, and period pieces. The showers were wonderfully hot. The kitchen had all the normal amenities…though there was no microwave which many in the US are used to having. The location was so convenient—we had cappuccino and croissant for breakfast each morning; followed by 8-10,000 steps the rest of each day. We were close to most everything downtown—museums, restaurants, and shops. We loved the liveliness of the site; so many young people gathered at the small tables underneath the apartment at all hours.We lost two whole days and plan on returning—next time with children and grands with us. We may have too many for this apartment, but we would return any time without hesitation.

We couldn’t imagine a better place to stay in Turin than these apartments.All the main attractions of the city are within a pleasant walking distance through the charming streets of this beautiful city.The apartment itself is a true gem — a model of artistic taste and architectural elegance. The wonderful oriental artefacts throughout create the feeling of being in a fine museum of Eastern cultures.Our hosts, Elena and Enrico, kindly allowed us to extend our stay by an extra unplanned day and even accommodated an early check-in.Thank you, Elena and Enrico! We really enjoyed our stay in Turin. This apartment was perfectly located next to a large piazza with alot of restaurants. The apartment was clean and safe. Because of the activities on the piazza until late hours, the bedroom facing it was noisy making sleep an issue. Otherwise, our hosts were very responsive. A great place.

Perfect location, incredible apartment, fantastic hosts!

Absolutely fabulous stay! The apartment was superb and soon felt like home! Elena and Enrico were kind, informative, communicative and helpful hosts! The apartment was spotlessly clean and comfortable. It can get quite lively in the beautiful piazza below but the apartment blocks out most of the sound! Perfect location for walking to everything! We are looking forward to our next stay!

Beautiful and great location

We were two couples sharing the beautiful apartment. The 2 equal size bedrooms and bathrooms made it easy to share. The apartment is so pretty and comfortable. The location was amazing, we could walk everywhere. Great coffee and gelato right downstairs. Elena, the owner was there at check in to show us around the place, which was great.

I’m sorry we didn’t have more time in Turin as Casa Carlina was a stunning apartment in a great location. Esme, who checked us in, couldn’t have been nicer. Would definitely recommend the apartment!

Fantastic Apartment

We loved our 2-week stay at Elena and Enrico’s charming apartment. The apartment itself was perfect. It had room to relax together in the living room, as well as privacy in the two separated bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. The location was great, on a beautiful piazza with lots of shopping, restaurants, cafes and bars nearby. (The piazza can be noisy, especially on weekend nights, but the windows do a very good job of shutting out the noise. However, if you are very sensitive to noise, ear plugs will take care of any remaining ambient noise.). It also is conveniently located near a number of museums, and it was easy to take buses/trams to other spots that were a little further away. I really appreciated the elevator as well, for our luggage as well as when my arthritic knee was unable to handle the stairs. Elena and Enrico were very helpful, always responding quickly to our questions. Elena greeted me at check-in and explained all the ins and outs of the apartment. I would happily stay here again and would definitely recommend this apartment to friends and family.

Look no further, Perfection.. On all levels!

From the greeting at the door, to every single detail (lots of hangers, big closets, spices, GOOD toilet paper, comfy beds and pillows, laundry soap, dish soap, lots of paper towels, suggestions on restaurants, things to do.. etc.).. they definitely care about you when they open the door to their home! The location was perfect! We walked to every thing including a grocery store. This was our final place to stay on our two week adventure through Italy/paris and was our favorite place!! This was a home not a bed and bathrooms. Beautifully decorated. Updated, easy to get comfy in! We want to come back and stay for a month!! Thank you for sharing your home with us!! We will be back!!

A great place to stay in Torino

Four of us spent five days in Torino. The apartment was perfectly located, and very easy to use. It was a very classy place with great art and decoration. The rooms and bathrooms all worked out well for us after a day wondering the city.

Wonderful Holiday Stay

The hosts went above and beyond to make sure we had a fabulous stay. The flat is gorgeous, warm, roomy and very clean. It sits above a wonderful coffee and pastry shop and we woke to amazing smells every morning. The location is perfect. We highly recommend this property.

Absolutely perfect!

From beginning to end, our stay at this charming flat was all that we had hoped for in Torino. Right on the palazzo, we felt embraced by local life and the culture of this wonderful city. The flat itself was spotlessly clean and well appointed with comfortable beds. Our host was helpful and communicative and made us feel welcome from the get-go. Enrico is an architect, and Elena is an antique dealer—together, we enjoy creating spaces and experiences that reflect beauty, authenticity, and a spirit of discovery.

You’re not just stepping into an apartment—you’re entering a small piece of Turin’s history. This is the city’s former Jewish Ghetto, established in 1679 by Maria Giovanna Battista of Nemours, regent of the Duchy of Savoy. It was the first ghetto built in Piedmont, and its character still lingers in the architecture and narrow streets.

The apartment’s coffered wooden ceilings, though slightly lower than modern ones, create an intimate and welcoming atmosphere—a sense of protection and warmth. Combined with tasteful furnishings and soundproof windows, it offers a serene space where work, rest, and leisure can coexist in perfect harmony.
