Delightful and Comfortable Stay

We were two couples who visited to enjoy the fall colors. This home was a perfect place for us with good separation between bedrooms, an updated and well stocked kitchen, and a lovely location with easy access to everything we needed. The host is great, anticipating our needs, and making us feel totally welcome.

GRANDview Stay

The house was perfect for what we needed for a weekend event! Excellent hosts, very easy to communicate with and allowed us to make last minute changes to our reservation. Would definitely recommend to friends and family, and hope to book there again.

Wonderful place! Everything was so clean and the home had anything we could’ve asked for. It had so much space and an amazing backyard. We only wish we’d been there longer. We definitely recommend!

Fabulous house

Loved our stay here! Super clean and this place has every comfort of home. The pictures just don’t do it justice —this house is cute and comfortable and the yard is gorgeous, especially at night. Trust the reviews—it’s every bit as good as everyone says.

Excellent property in a great location

We loved this house. The space was more than shown in the pictures and it was close to everything. The host provided lots of extras in the house to make it very convenient. We would highly recommend this property!

Excellent!

My wife was unable to meet me in Dubuque at the last minute, so I stayed with my daughter at her home. We did go to the home and were very impressed with all features of the home. We would reschedule this property when we again travel to Dubuque.

Just Perfect!

First off, we can’t say enough good things about Tammy, the property manager. This was our first VRBO experience & Tammy was so very patient and helpful with all our questions. She responded promptly and kindly, no matter the time of day – before we booked and after we booked. The accommodations were so comfortable. While visiting Iowa, our days were packed full of activities. It was so nice to have a quiet and tranquil home to return each day – and it really did feel like home. I can’t explain it, but both my husband and I rarely sleep through the night, but we did all 8 nights of our stay. Tammy took care of all the little things that made our stay so easy. We also would like to echo all the positive comments the travelers before us made. They are all accurate. We will definitely will rent this home again for future visits.

Our overall experience is 5+ stars in every way! Shamrock Gardens in Dubuque is a beautiful property, both inside and out. The location is easy to find, and located within close proximity to downtown and nearby activities. Parking is easily accessible, and we were delighted by the spacious and well-maintained backyard. The host, Tammy, pays exceptional attention to detail, and provided special touches that surpassed our expectations! We highly recommended Shamrock Gardens, and plan to return during our next weekend getaway to Dubuque.

Very Clean and Great Property Management

This house was in a great location and was one of the cleanest houses we have been in. Tammy was awesome and we will be back again! Great place to stay if you are in the Dubuque area.

Lovely spot for a getaway

Lovely and well kept home, very clean, exceptionally restful backyard with lots of plantings to admire, and easy to birdwatch. Excellent neighborhood, easy access to all tourist locations. Tammy answered all inquiries promptly, it was a restful place to come home to after a tiring day. We loved looking at the backyard while at the dining room table, and enjoyed the breezes thru the windows. The Keurig was a nice touch! Highly recommend..

Couple’s Getaway

This is a great property to stay at when visiting either Dubuque or Galena Illinois. We spent most our weekend sightseeing in the Dubuque area. We visited Park Farm Winery, Fenelon Place Elevator, Julian Dubuque Monument, Riverwalk, Stone Cliff Winery, Shot Tower, Crystal Lake Cave, the FABULOUS Saturday Farmer’s Market and went on a lunch cruise on the American Lady. We buzzed over one evening to Galena - a must see destination. We will be returning to spend more time there and would definitely stay at this property again. Photos were accurate except they didn’t do justice to the backyard. It’s way more beautiful than the pictures show. The location was perfect! The house was very clean and had everything you need. Tammy gave us great suggestions of what to do in the area.

Clean and easy access from highway.

Manager: quick response to questions before visit. Site: Circle drive allows easy access to road. Grocery store 2 miles. Quiet neighborhood. Backyard/patio serene and a bonus. House: CLEAN. 1 bedroom upstairs other entry level. Upstairs office fits twin inflatable mattress. Galley kitchen includes dishwasher (with soap), pots/pans etc. pleased to find sugar, salt & pepper and zip lock bags. We brought games but some were provided in hall closet. Gas grill available. KUDOS to a Tammy the manager. Very nice Dubuque property.

Perfect!

The house is spotless, well cared for. Tastefully decorated. The beautiful backyard was a surprise, very nice neighborhood near everything. I would stay here again, wish we could've stayed longer! One of the best VRBO locations I've rented.
