Spend your New Smyrna Beach vacation in the cute, family-friendly Barefoot Bungalow! A 3-bedroom 2-bath house right across the street from the crashing waves and warm sand. In addition to being right by the ocean, you and yours will love how it is only a 6-minute walk from restaurants, bars, and shopping on Flagler Avenue. Upon walking in you'll be welcomed by the home's bright interior full of white, teal, and wood accents. The Beauty of New Smyrna Beach

New Smyrna is a barrier island positioned between the Atlantic Ocean and the Indian River. The beaches of New Smyrna stretch over 13 miles along the sandy east coast of Central Florida. Water activities abound. New Smyrna is the surfing capital of Florida- try it yourself or watch the locals ride the big waves near the jetties. Play in the surf, gather seashells, or build a sandcastle with your kids or grandkids. From Ponce de Leon Inlet, you can embark on a great deep-sea fishing adventure. Should you prefer to stay closer to the shore, fish the Florida saltwater flats for the famous redfish of Mosquito Lagoon.

Though New Smyrna is a small historic town, the city offers a wide selection of shopping, dining, and cultural experiences for both its residents and guests. From beachside burger joints to restaurants serving fresh local seafood, there's something here for everyone!

Great location, easy beach access across the street and walkable to Flagler Ave shops and restaurants. Backyard is relaxing and pool is excellent. BBQ is clean and fired up easily. Kitchen is well stocked with the essentials. Some of the extras came in handy - styrofoam coolers, beach toys/chairs, etc.

The house was in a great location and perfect for our group of 6! The pool and backyard was a huge highlight for us. It’s a perfect distance from the beach and Flagler avenue. We had a few issues with the washer and the grill not working but the property owners were very responsive on working on maintenance issues. Nothing that couldn’t be expected from a rental being used over time. We would definitely stay at this property or any other owned by the owners in the future.

Great property and location! Walking distance to everything is a major plus!!! The house was great and the pool was very nice! The only downside was we couldn’t do any laundry bc the washer was broke. I realize this is at no fault of the property owners, things break. Also, the grill wasn’t working, which we found out after we purchased meat to grill. Another con was there were no beach towels. I was just lucky I had brought a couple with me. If I was traveling from far, would not of been the case. I would stay again at this house. Next time I would be more prepared on things to bring like more beach towels, liquid hand soap, Kleenex boxes. Overall this house is a 4/5.

Barefoot Bungalow is Wonderful

The home was well furnished & actually had more than we expected, with beach chairs, & beach towels, & boogie boards. We were a couple of blocks from Flagler Ave. restaurants & shops. Excellent Location, Smaller Size House

This house was very close to the beach, and the backyard was great. We had three adults and a two-year-old staying at the house, and it was a little tight upstairs. I think if there had been one more adult, it would have felt very cramped. There was a minimal number of towels, so be prepared to do a load of laundry every day. Overall, it was worth the stay for the location and the pool, but be ready to bring every single thing you need, such as beach towels, toilet paper, and hand soap.

Can’t wait to go back!

This house is in the perfect location, steps away from the beach and a short walk to restaurants and shops. Close to everything! Private pool in the back to cool off after the beach. The beach is huge, gorgeous fine white sand. Also, you can drive a vehicle or rented golf cart on the beach which means you can easily bring ALL the beach stuff and people aren’t packed in like sardines. House is clean, cute, and updated. We had a few palms fronds down from the recent storm and they came right out to clean them up for us. The area is safe and the road in front was not busy at all. We felt safe and comfortable letting our young teens explore on their own. 10/10!

Reunion

Came to visit my son and fiancé. Found house, had all instructions with excellent communication. . Darling costal interior completely filled with everything you need except for bath products. Could use shampoo and nice soap offered. Comfortable beds and linens. Very comfortable house and 1 min walk to beach!!! Great location!!!! Huge house being built next door was not mentioned so construction was going on. Had a pretty little pool. We did not use it. Pool pump was so very loud so did not sit outside in back. Beautiful beaches despite a lot of rain and welcoming home to come back to! Great stay.
