Welcome to your mountain retreat! At GateHouse Resort Condos in the picturesque Smoky Mountain town of Gatlinburg, Tennessee, unit 705, "Berz on the Mountain," is the getaway that you have been waiting for. "Berz on the Mountain" boasts of a newly updated 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit with a fully stocked kitchen. Relax by the fire or in the jetted Jacuzzi, or enjoy the stunning mountain views and serene sounds of the creek while rocking your cares away on a spacious balcony. You will be close to all the action of Downtown Gatlinburg (just a mile away) while being far enough away to feel you are in a secluded hideaway. In the morning you can stroll to breakfast at Flapjacks Pancake Cabin just 4 minutes away.

Lovely mountain getaway

Very clean, conveniently located on a trolley line and within walking distance of several great restaurants, this condo was perfect for our vacation in the Great Smoky Mountains.

Doesn’t feel like u are even in town. But an easy walk to downtown, so no parking woes. Good restaurants close by as well. Highly recommend

Love the location

We stayed for 4 days and 3 nights. Unfortunately it rained majority of the time we stayed, but at least we were able to lounge comfortably. He host was very communicative every step of our journey which I truly appreciated. Overall, if you’re looking for a mountain feel, but access of entertainment and shopping, this fits the bill!

What a wonderful weekend! Condo is every bit as fabulous as advertised. Balcony overlooks a green space with a wonderful brook flowing by. Amazing to sit on the balcony and listen. Would absolutely stay again. Thank you!

Great place. Awesome location.

Very nice condo. Same as listed and very clean and spacious. Great location. We would have liked having laundry soap, condiments, salt pepper, coffee in the unit. No icemaker, but no ice cube trays. Will stay again.

Great stay in the Smokys!

This is a very lovely condo - very roomy living room and kitchen area and spacious bedrooms with comfortable beds. Nice balcony to hang out with views and creek below. Good location - up the street from the main tourist area so we weren't in the heart of all the noise & lights. Erin was very responsive and always replied quickly to the couple of times we had questions. Highly recommend!

Comfortable, cozy, convenient

We had a lovely stay at this condo. We were there for New Years weekend and we loved being sble to walk to restaurants (traffic is insane snd parking is impossible) . Comfy beds, and linens, well appointed with everything. Although we did not cook, the kitchen is well set up. Since it was cold that weekend we loved the fireplace. There is s really nice patio, too. The host (Erin) is delightful and responsive. We would definitely recommend and we would stay again!

Hidden Gem - Highly Recommend!

Our stay was WONDERFUL. The condo was very clean, the beds were very comfortable and we had every amenity needed for our stay. The sheets and towels were very good quality. We loved having a washer and dryer available. The location is close enough to the downtown Gatlinburg action, but far enough away to not always have to be in all the traffic. We spent a lot of time exploring the trails on the east side of the park and drove the Roaring Fork Motor Trail daily. There are lots of restaurants nearby - our favorite was Three Jimmy's. We didn't get to use the pool because unfortunately it was a rainy week, but it looked clean. I loved the balcony - great place to sit and listen to the birds and the creek below. I would highly recommend this property. There are two king size beds, but the very spacious layout that would easily allow space for an air mattress - you could easily sleep a few more. Just lovely!

This property was very, very clean. 2 King Beds so plenty of room for 4 people. Sitting out on the balcony listening to the stream was so relaxing. We only had a couple full days but could have stayed here for many more. Really is like a home away from home. If I had any negatives it would be no TV's in the bedrooms. My husband likes to watch TV in bed while unwinding before bed but ended up being a small inconvenience because we were out late the couple of nights and was ready to just fall in bed once back. The kitchen was well stocked and the only thing that I might suggest that the owner add is a small thing of salt and pepper. It was an absolutely wonderful stay and will stay here again. Thank you so much for letting us enjoy your beautiful home.

Perfect place to stay

I have always loved the location of these condos. Just far enough away from the busyness of the main parkway, but in walking distance to everything. This condo in particular was so clean and nice. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Unplug and relax

The location of the property was perfect. Close enough to any activity but far enough to not hear the noise. The property was exactly how it was shown however there were a few small amenities which would have been helpful such as more than 1 bath towel(1 per person) for a stay of 4 nights. A dish cloth to be able to hand wash a coffee cup, extra blankets in the cold weather. Overall though it is an amazing place to stay.

From the moment that we walked onto the GateHouse Resort Condos property, we knew that we were in a very special place. As we entered unit 705, we had a vision of a home-away-from-home for our guests. This unit has been updated from top to bottom! Our hearts and souls (along with a lot of sweat and a little blood) are in this magnificent space.

You will be just a 20-minute walk to all the action of downtown (Aquarium, museums, shopping, restaurants, Ober, Anakeesta. If you don't feel like walking, the trolley picks up right across the street. 4-minute walk to breakfast and a15-minute drive to Pigeon Forge. You can relax on the large balcony with spectacular mountain views while listening to the creek below. It is a great place to watch a spectacular show of fireworks on July 4th. You can also sit on the bench out front and watch seasonal, town parades or just enjoy the energy of this great town. Just a few miles away, you have the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, White Water Rafting in the Big Pigeon River.
