When you need a break, there is just something peaceful about the lake. Here you can enjoy the peaceful sounds of the water and enjoy the fresh outdoor scents. Our waterfront view is stellar with amazing sunrise's. Enjoy fishing from the dock or put your boat in on our private ramp. Santee offers some of the best fishing in SC. We offer a full kitchen and laundry room for your convenience or if you prefer dinning out there are plenty of local restaurants

We enjoyed the view of the lake and we could fish off the dock putting our boats in was easy access. The house was very clean and everything we needed was there for us. The coffee bar was very nice. The host was very nice she made sure we were comfortable adjusting the temperature when we ask.

Wonderful peaceful stay. Weather was chilly for August but perfect in its calm. House was equiped with everything we needed, very cosy, and my girls and I played lots of cards, giving us quite a few belly laughs. Would highly recommend for the price and would sray again! Goat Island restaurant is so close you can walk too if you want a meal, beverage or entertainment.

House was clean, dock was nice. Boat ramp didn't seem accessible so we used the pass they left to go to the other ramp. House had everything we needed.

Golfing trip

Peaceful Getaway

Amazing property, peaceful getaway, big yard for kids to play in, and a very nice fishing dock. Walking distance to Goat Island restaurant. Very nice experience highly recommend to anyone needing a getaway Thank you for sharing your home.

Fishing tournament

We visited for a middle school fishing tournament and the property was wonderful. The owner was extremely helpful. The house was clean and located near the tournament ramp. Putting the boat in and out was easy and the dock was well maintained.

Wonderful fishing trip!

We had a great time! The place had everything we could have needed. Our favorite part was the dock! We caught more fish off the dock than out in our boat! We loved the fish cleaning station right there on the dock! It was such a relaxing trip! We can’t wait to come back!

Annual fishing trip

The house is in a nice quiet neighborhood on the water just below goat island. The house was really clean and organized with plenty of room inside for me and my 2 brothers and all of our fishing gear. It was our best trip to Santee yet! I caught my personal best blue catfish at 26lbs and my brother caught a 21lb blue.( both big fish were released.) We also caught plenty of smaller ones for a fish fry! The cutting board and sink on the dock was a huge plus and we used it!! The dock does have rod holders with built in seats and power. The house does have a boat ramp but it dont look like its been used in quite a few years. The water is really shallow around it but the water out in front of the dock was around 16-18' deep.its was not an inconvenience because the goat island has a boat ramp you can use that is paid for by the homeowner and was only .25 mile down the road. The lot was big enough to pull my truck and pontoon in and still have plenty of room. There are cameras outside of the house around the property which we liked, being in a new area that we know nothing about! It does have an older charcoal grill we put to use! Bring your own charcoal! Overall a really nice place to stay and and area to visit!! Will definitely be back!!
