Best stay ever we’ll be coming back

This was a last-minute mini vacation, and we couldn’t have picked a better spot! The house was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. We especially loved how easy it was to walk to the beach—the access was super convenient. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, which made for relaxing day and restful night. We slept great and really appreciated the ice-cold air conditioning and the available cleaning tools during our stay. Highly recommend!

Perfect house and location

We celebrated at this house with 19- 18 year olds and 4 adults! It was the perfect house! Great communication and had everything we needed!

Amazing home with the best ocean view! The host was very nice and quickly to respond. We had no issues at all staying here for our son’s graduation get-together. The home was very spacious and we loved how almost every room had their own restroom. The downstairs was perfect to host events and it already had tables and chairs to use. We also loved that it had 2 refrigerators. & It was super clean! Our family left wanting to come back to this house on our next gathering. The views were just breath-taking! Nancy was such a great host!

Space to breathe

The bedrooms were very large. Tons of room downstairs. Air conditioner worked all week-even in our hot summer.

Paradise on the beach!

The house is in a great location. Loved being right on the beach. Beds were comfortable and we weren’t crowded at all with 11 of us ladies!

Family Time

We loved the location, right on the beach. The house had huge bedrooms with plenty of room for children. The air conditioners worked well. The house was very clean and I was able to speak with the host easily. The big room downstairs worked well for family games. The only thing that could be improved would be a larger dining table. We had a good time!

Location Location Location

Just steps away from the water and a few minutes to the businesses around the sea wall. House is huge and has all the amenities to make your stay fabulous. The owner communicated well and we look forward to future stays.

Property Needs Work

Beautiful property on the beach. Major plumbing issues and facade is deteriorating. One entrance through a hot garage and up two flights of stairs, not good for seniors.

Sunbather Condo

We had an amazing time. The Condo was on the beach. Amenities were available for everything we needed. Host was is an excellent communicator. Looking forward to staying here again in the future!

Wedding and Easter

We planned a small wedding and Easter weekend on this property and it was amazing! The owner was very responsive at every text message or email. Property was clean and up to date. No need to bring tables, table cloths or chairs as we were able to rent them there. The view was amazing! Easy access to shops in the area. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Pappy’s 60th

This was a great family weekend with grown kids and their families. Grammy and Pappy had the best time. The house was big enough for everyone to have their own space. Very nice property.

Beautiful in every way

My husband and I chose to have our wedding at Sunbather by the Sea and it is the BEST decision we made. The views are absolutely stunning. The house has everything you need to accommodate a large group of family and friends and is just gorgeous. Nancy was extremely communicative, friendly, and thorough.

Family Vacation

Great house with lots of space for everyone to sleep. It is a very short walk to the beach. Only complaint would be that the living room and table do not have enough places for everyone to sit. Other than that, would recommend. We will book again!

Annual Galveston family trip

Property was great private beach even on the 4 th of July house was beautiful had great amenities offered a variety of sleeping options for family. Bunk beds for kids all bathrooms beautiful. First time in 6 years I had the code for the house day before. Took all the stress out of the day. And property manager answered quickly to all request. Offered 2 full refrigerators and a mini fridge. Lots of room to make and keep ice. And groceries. Would choose this home again was the best house yet

Back Stairs

We were informed no stairs at the back porch due to the storm the same day of our arrival. Someone should have come by and fix it the same day! No regular broom except fir a small one that look like a toy broom. I do believe the night charged amount $ is high for the house.

awesome week

Our extended family just spent a week here. The place was great and we all had a great week. Kids had a blast playing in the ocean during the day. And crabbing at night. Two different families had never even seen the ocean before. So they enjoyed it and loved the beach house. Miss Nancy was great for putting up with our large group. She answered every question quickly and worked with us the whole time. Would definitely recommend this place for sure. Or any other place miss Nancy is the host of. We plan on staying here again. Thanks for everything Miss Nancy.

Friends Reunion

It is a beautiful house in a small private residence on private beach. The house is big and fully furnish. Plenty pots, pans and cook wares. There are coffee maker and water boiler. The house locate right on the beach . The deck on the first floor is great for cooking and dining outdoor. We like this house because it give us more privacy, but not too for from shopping center and supermarket. Our house was very friendly. We consider to go back for next year reunion.

Family vacation

Pros: fully stocked kitchen with labels , the house was clean, easy beach access with large deck. You can walk to a local bar on the beach in 10 minutes. The beds were comfortable. The host was very nice and communicated well. If you have small kids there’s no need for gates on the second floor there is no stair access it’s cut off by a door with a deadbolt and twist knob. Cons: we experienced a roach issue we spoke with the host about it and she insured us it would be taken care of for the next guest and apologized. The bedroom layouts were a little weird to me the king bed isn’t in the master bedroom the master has two queens in it which was a little weird usually a couple would want to be alone in the master. There’s also only tvs in the living room and master bedroom. The washer and dryer are located in the single bunk bedroom and there is no escape for the dryer hose so that room gets unbearably hot. We had an issue in the king bedroom with the toilets tank overflowing we ended up turning off the water and using a different toilet for our stay. During our stay it rained a lot the morning we checked out we discovered a leak from the roof coming through the door jam of the master bedroom. The first level is a indoor patio that isn’t cooled by ac so it’s pretty warm down there you wouldn’t want to be just chilling in there.
