Spacious Wild Dunes Home with Private Pool!

The perfect vacation home for families traveling together. Updated and professionally decorated, with its very own outdoor private pool (approximate depth is 3-5 feet)!

Features include: partially covered deck with outdoor private pool (not heated or cooled) and gas grill, updated kitchen and baths, two master suites, two living spaces, an open kitchen/dining/living concept, and bedding options for adults and kids.

Located within the gated community of Wild Dunes, which is coveted for its walk-able lifestyle, a boardwalk w/shops, bike rentals, tennis courts & 2 golf courses.
Downtown Charleston is a short drive away, and the Atlantic Ocean within biking or walking distance.
Outdoor pool area and deck are surrounded by abundant foliage. Pool is professionally cleaned once a week from October 15-April 15, and twice a week April 15-October 15. Please expect to use the pool net outside regular cleaning dates.

* Motor homes, trailers, boats, golf carts, electric bikes, and motorcycles/mopeds are not allowed in Wild Dunes.* Low Speed Vehicles are permitted if rented from approved companies (please ask vacation planner)

Beautiful property. The house was clean and the pool was amazing. Great stay for my girls trip. We ended up not even going to the beach at all and instead hung out by the pool at the house. Check in is a little inconvenient and they were weird about grocery deliveries, but otherwise a great stay.

Beautiful house and property. We had lots of fun and enjoyed the house immensely. For the price, there should have been beach towels and beach supplies for guests that fly in. There should also be more paper goods for use as well.

Had an amazing time !

We had a fantastic family vacation. I highly recommend this home and neighborhood for a great family vacation. Very safe neighborhood and the home is spacious, it can accomodate a lot of kids. The kids room has 4 beds!

Lovely vacation home!

Wonderful house for large group! Lots to do in IOP, but staying in is just as great in this spacious and homey rental. Books through Vrbo but managed by an independent vacation rental company so communicating was a bit confusing at first

Excellent property on WD.

Great for golfers with Wild Dunes being very close by. Great back deck and pool. Grill was nice! I’m a big grill guy so that made it even more enjoyable! Highly recommend.

Fun trip

The house was beautiful with plenty of space! The check in process was confusing, would have been easier to have access to the code instead of going to rental office especially since our groceries were delivered and they were able to go into the house no problem. When we got there we had to go to the office to receive the door code. Messaged host a few times with no reply but ended up having a great weekend

Gorgeous house!

This house is big and spacious. We had PLENTY of room for everyone with bedrooms and bathrooms. There is plenty of room to spread out in the living space as well. We did not feel like we were too crowded, even on our rainy day all in the house together. Easy walk to the beach. Easy drive to local restaurants.Easy drive to Charleston. My only recommendation would be to have updated pots and pans for cooking. They’re a bit tired/worn out. We would definitely stay again. 10/10!

Spacious home - Welcoming and comfortable -10/10

We brought our children and grandchildren (5 teens,16-19) to IOP to have some fun in the sun, and visit with family members living in the area. The house had everything we needed and more! Pool and large deck was definitely a plus and we definitely enjoyed time spent utilizing. Kitchen well equipped. Spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. Our group of 12 enjoyed the tastefully decorated property.

Family Reunion

The house was as advertised. having the pool right there was great with the children. The outdoor plug from the garage did not work making it harder to charge the golf cart we rented to get to the beach.

Great Times on IOP

Great property, exactly as described and pictured. Modern and clean. Slept our group of 12 adults very comfortably. Grill was a great bonus. Check in and out process was very smooth and easy. Only minor complaints were that the dishwasher was broken and the recycling was full/not taken out, but we all enjoyed our stay nonetheless. Would stay here again!

Love isle of palms but not this house

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I love the isle of the palms, but this house needs a lot of attention. House does not cool adequately which makes for restless nights, carpet upstairs is filthy, house has a musty smell even in the kitchen cabinets, plumbing fixtures are loose. It feels like the kitchen faucet is about to break off. Once again, we love the isle of the palms and have stayed there four times but would not stay at this house again. For the money we spent one would expect a house to be better maintained.

Beautiful home, great location but sparsely appointed.

Gorgeous home with kids bunk room appropriately separated from most other rooms. The only downside was there were not enough towels, bedding (sheets, pillowcases), the washer did not work (agitator broken), no hairdryers, no beach supplies or beach towels and the kitchen lacked a number of items needed. Therefore we bought and left a lot. However the house itself was great just be prepared to bring or buy all accoutrements.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our stay in this beautiful, spacious home that was great for our large family group. There is large living, dining, and kitchen space to gather and parking for multiple cars in a quiet, lovely part of the island. Appreciated comfortable newer furniture and beds and updated kitchen and baths. Gardens and outdoor spaces are lovely - even in colder December. Easy walk or drive to beach. Very clean except for the coffee maker. We suggest updating/adding kitchen cookware which wasn’t as high quality as the rest of the furnishings. We would love to return and wouldn’t hesitate to book this home for a close-to-the-beach stay!

Beautiful home!!

The home is beautiful. We had a few issues with the outlet in the master bathroom. The house was very clean. The pool was not clean upon arrival. We tried to clean the pool but the skimmer pole was broken. There was not enough water in the pool but there was no hose on site to add water to the pool. The skimmer basket was packed with debris. I would stay here again once the issues with the pool are resolved.

We appreciated the large space, and having enough bedrooms and bathrooms to give us privacy during our stay. The pool had not been cleaned in ages - which is ok because it was off-season and too cold to swim anyways. There were some amenities that were missing that we would have expected in a vacation rental - no kleenex anywhere, and no hair dryers for a 5 bedroom home. The kids room was a bit musty, and the king room over the garage was very cold (we couldn't figure out how to operate the heat in that room). But overall the space was very clean and comfortable for our group.

Ups and Downs

The property was spacious and nicely furnished. There were problems which would prevent me from returning. There were 4 TVs. Two did not work. Maintenance came to fix tv in master bedroom. Then two others stopped working. Contacted maintenance and no one came. The pool was too dirty to use. Someone came to clean the leaves out of the pool one day before we left. Finally, the oven was not thoroughly cleaned and smelled every time we used it.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Having our family come together for the first time in years meant the world to all of us. Everyone had their comments about the property and I thought it important to share to others. The layout of the house was perfect for all of us. There were things however, that were not up to par. I do have to say that when we couldn't get the 2 master bedroom TVs working that maintenance was there ASAP and resolved the issue. I think having directions for the TV's in the house would help immensely (especially for older folks that may not be tech savy). The house had not been thoroughly cleaned (especially 1st floor master) from the previous guests. I don't want to go into things but will report to Island Realty.
