It is about 20 mins to Houston, 20 mins to NASA, 20 mins to Kemah Boardwalk with lots of activities for the family, and 40 mins to Galveston beach. The home has all new Beds, furniture and appliances.

Property was excellent! Only disappointment was that the pier, playground and beach were all closed due to the hurricane that passed through a few weeks before. Would have been nice to know that ahead of getting there. Otherwise we will definitely be back to that same location!

Family trip

Good place to stay for Space Center Houston visit. Sylvan Beach Park is a few blocks away, Near downtown LaPorte. Host was easy to contact and responsive.

Cousin Vacation

Very nice home! Host paid attention to all the details and made the beach house feel like home. I will book this specific home everytime I feel like staying at Sylvan Beach. 1st Annual Cousins Beach Vacation was one to remember.

Graduation trip

My nephew graduated from La Porte high school on Friday! Loved the short walk to the beach and having plenty of room to get together with my family. Nice short drive to Galveston island was awesome!

Booking and access to home was simple. Beautiful home just a short distance from a nice beach. The home is a perfect setup for multi-family. The house was immaculate and the host was great! We loved our stay! Highly recommend!

Holiday Stay

The place was very warm and inviting. Even though the weather was unexpectedly cold, the location and place was wonderful. The owner was very easy to reach and communicate with and very pleasant and caring. I recommend this place with 5 stars.

Amazing new property

Hi This property is v well maintained and the owner v responsive. We checked in late and she was available to help us through in finding the address. Also everything listed on the vrbo page was in the home. Literally a 2min walk to the beach. We would love to return to the home. Thanks

Nice new beach three bedroom home

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely home. It is very clean, it has nice amenities in a quiet neighborhood. Great place to relax with family. Definitely will consider coming back.

Perfect 4th of July

This place was very nice & perfect location for us. The beach was literally a 5min walk which my family loved. We enjoyed our stay & would definitely recommend it.

Property is new and cute, the location is excellent with lots of activities at the walking distance beach. The beach park is prefect for kids to play on the swings and skateboarding ramps, with covered areas which has barbeque pits and a Fishing peer.
