Week at The White House on Isla Mujeres

Marco and Eredey are excellent host of a very nice property. Very accomodating. It was stocked with eggs, juice and wine. They even dropped of a fruit bread we really enjoyed.

Great cultural experience

The property is nice and new. Marcos was incredibly helpful with arranging our transportation from the airport to the ferry, and back. He was also helpful in arranging our golf cart. And when we needed more beach towels, pillow cases and our AC unit worked on, he took care of it right away. The location is great for a nearby grocery store. Not so great for beach access, but 10 min on a golf cart north or south will get you where you need to go. The 2 pullout sofas weren’t the most comfortable, but doable for teens.

Awesome Water Views

The Whitehouse is a well thoughtout property. We found it to be well appointed. The views of the ocean were quite expensive . We enjoyed the fresh breeze from the balconies off of each room. Plenty of room to sit outside and relax and listen to the birds and traffic passing on the road below. This property sits in the middle of every authentic neighborhood of local residents, so you get a true vibe of everyday family life. One particularly great thing is the private garage parking which we used for our golf cart rental. The penthouse has great space , so there's plenty of room to move and spread out. The host, Marco was great and promptly addressed any concerns that came about. Be aware that there is no elevator so there are many stairs which might be an issue for someone who has issues with with mobility. Also we did find a washer and dryer in the unit, but the local laundry is a few steps away just up the street.

Wonderful feel for the People and Places of Isla Mujeres

We chose to stay at this VROB instead of an all-inclusive resort to have the ability to be with the people. The patio looks over two streets to the sun rising each morning. The property was upscale and although it was just my husband and me we enjoyed the spaciousness of the property. Marco was very helpful getting us situated with all our questions for transportation, golf cart rental, things to do and see, and restaurants. We walked to amazing restaurant Coco Jaguar which had both amazing breakfasts and dinners. We enjoyed the golf cart for exploration of the island and found two restaurants with great sunset views. We enjoyed the roof for a more laid back evening watching the beautiful ocean and the people on the streets below. The air conditioner and water cooler was very helpful! We went over on the ferry to Cancun one day and that was also great! Thanks for a great stay!

Ocean view penthouse, great location within the community!!

My husband, my mother, father and I stayed at the White House Penthouse for 9 nights in March. The condo had everything we needed. The hosts even provided us with beach towels, beach chairs, and a cooler bag. They helped book us a deal with a golf cart company and had the golf cart delivered to the condo. The space is massive, lots of room for dinners and lounging. We spent a lot of time on the east facing large balcony people watching and enjoying the stunning sunrises. You have a gorgeous view of the ocean, that isn’t shown in the pictures!! If you go up to the roof, you can watch the sunset from the west. The hosts were quick to our requests, we had an issue with the water temps and they were there quickly to fix the issue. Steps away is the awesome restaurant La Patrona and Isla Brewery. Down the street is a wash a fold service, the best fresh juice we have ever had, a pharmacy and a convenience store. Or you can run over to Chaudries for your groceries and beer, just make sure you don’t try and buy booze before 9am…..embarrassing. We would stay here again!! Thank you for hosting!
