The Evergreen at Tamarron Resort (Lodge #332) is our loft unit featuring 2 sleeping areas, a kitchenette and full bath. It is conveniently located near the resort amenities including golf course, heated pool, hot tub, and fitness center. Wifi speeds are appx 100+ mbps. The Glacier's 18-hole Valley Course is a private golf course located at Tamarron Resort. As a guest staying at Tamarron, you'll have the privilege of playing the course at the Tamarron rate — a great perk of your stay! Details to book your tee time will be provided in your rental instructions.

Come and enjoy your Colorado mountain vacation in this loft condo where southwest meets a functional design. Comfortable sleeping arrangements for a family of 6. The kitchenette is equipped with a fridge, stovetop burners, toaster oven with air fryer, microwave, coffee pot.

WHERE YOU'LL SLEEP:
* Living Area - Queen Bed (Main Floor)
* Loft - Twin Over Queen Bunk, plus Twin Bed (2nd Floor)

ON-SITE AMENITIES AT THE LODGE: These amenities are included with your reservation: indoor pool, outdoor heated pool, outdoor hot tub, sauna, steam shower, fitness center, playground. These amenities are available, but with an extra fee on a pay-per-use basis: golf at private course at the Tamarron rate, tennis, pickleball, 3 on-site restaurants, and event center. There is an EV Charging Station available for guest use in the Valley Clubhouse parking lot, adjacent to the Tamarron Lodge. There is a $20 per person ski shuttle to Purgatory on weekends during ski season only - tickets must be purchased in advance and the pick-up location is in the Valley Clubhouse parking lot.

LOCATION: Tamarron sits at around 7800 feet in elevation and is just 10 minutes south of Purgatory Ski Resort and 20 minutes north of downtown Durango. Many guests stay here to visit Purgatory Ski Resort, which offers a variety of restaurants, winter and summer activities, and festivals/events.

No smoking / vaping of any kind is allowed
Trailers are discouraged as there is very limited, designated space to park trailers - if you plan to bring one, please inquire first.
AWD or 4WD is recommended in Winter (Dec-Mar).

Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years).
Stay with us and we offer DISCOUNTS on both summer (white water rafting, horseback riding etc.) and winter (ski/snowboard rentals, sleigh rides, snowmobile tours etc.) activities.

VRC CANCELLATION POLICY: At Vacation Rental Collective, we understand the importance of flexibility for travelers when it comes to cancellations. When booking directly with Vacation Rental Collective, we offer a Moderate Cancellation Policy for this Property: A guest will receive a 100% refund if canceled/changed at least 30 days before check-in; a 50% refund if canceled/changed 14-30 days before check-in; and no refund if canceled/changed 13 days or less before check-in. If you booked on a third-party site (VRBO, Airbnb, etc), your cancellation is subject to their policy. We do offer travel insurance.

We were very pleased with the property and check in was a breeze. It was perfect for six of us and in the summertime with temperatures being fairly hot the AC units were definitely a necessity.

Perfect Getaway

Honestly, I wasn't really sure what we were getting with this one, we thought it was a small cabin on the property, but it was a condo in a resort. It felt more like an oversized hotel stay with amazing views, and that was totally fine by us! We were in town for the Motorcycle Rally, so we didn't spend much time there, but we were comfortable when we were. We did check out the pool/hot tub/gym/sauna. They also have a ice bath room, masseuse, golf course, resturants and even a salon on site! Our kitchen and bathroom were well stocked, beds worked well for our family, and we enjoyed our stay! I will note that checking in is a bit confusing, as there is no staff to check-in with, and directions are not very clear. This space is located in what they call "The Tower", so you will go in the middle set of doors, find your floor/room. We would ABSOLUTELY stay again!❤️

Everything was amazing. The pool and hot tub were actually enjoyably heated for winter use and made up for the lack of snow. The condo itself had everything we needed and was super convenient. My kids have already asked to go back for Christmas.

Great Getaway

Beautiful property …golf courses were amazing, the room was cozy and comfortable and the little kitchenette was perfect for us for small meals..a sweet market in Hermosa for goods that was not far ! Overall we would return !

We had a great stay in Durango and loved all the accommodations this listing offered. The kids loved the pools and hot tub at the end of the day. The condo was great for what we needed. Suggestions: A sound bar for the TV would be a great idea. It was so loud coming out of the back of the TV but quiet in front on the couch. More kitchen towels as I was washing and drying a lot of dishes from cooking to save money on our stay.Pros: Pools, hot tub access, kitchen, easy check in and out process. The location was out side of town so we just had to ensure we had all groceries or meal plans figured out while in town but that was no problem for us. Didn't hear neighbors. Beautiful location and easy to access condo and location.Cons: The beds were not the most comfortable. We had to do a lot of switching around beds and pillows. The bunk bed upstairs was very squeaky- every movement, not horrible but enough to notice. With a kitchen I usually expect a couple cooking items there already (ie. olive oil or a couple seasonings) as per other stays at other VRBO's. I only found the salt and pepper after a day of looking. I rewashed all the cooking items before use as well. We also couldn't figure out how to get to the pool as no instructions were sent. You have to go through the building to the fitness center to sign in. We ran out of trash bags and towels, we randomly saw someone who was able to give more towels but forgot to ask for trash bags.

You Will Love Your Stay!

If you want to swim or use the sauna...you will love the amenities! Wait, how about excerise....there is ALOT to choose from! Walking is a must along with hiking! Or just sit and relax! In your room, you will stay plenty cold with the AC in the summertime! You will also be able to open the windows to smell the outdoor air! ENJOYED OUR STAY FROM TEXAS~

The kitchen is a wee bit small, but still workable. The neighbor had a dog that barked a lot, but that's the only real issue. (Bring your own spices for cooking!)

Family ski trip

We had a nice trip. The unit was as described. It was nice having an elevator and luggage rack to carry our stuff up to the third floor. It had a coffee pot and a few filters which was nice to start the morning. We chose to drive to Purgatory each day instead of taking the shuttle because the shuttle only runs at 8:20 and leaves at 4:30. It was only a 10-15 minute drive to the mountain which was very convenient. Thank you for a great trip.

Perfect place

We were in Durango for a soccer tournament and loved our time here. It was about 20 min outside of town, a beautiful drive. The unit itself was clean and furnished appropriately. Somewhat dated but nice furnishings. My kids said it gave them a “grandmas house” vibe and they loved the spiral staircase! I was a little confused to receive four text messages and 3 emails from the property management company - which was not VRBO. Over communication. It did make things clear, just felt a little excessive. Great location, great property. We would definitely consider staying here again if we’re back in the area.

Beautiful area but dated unit

The resort and area are beautiful. The unit itself is dated and needs repair - peeling wall paper, torn curtains, dirty carpets, poor lighting. Kitchen is just a sink, small frig and 2 burner stove top. Microwave sits in the living room. Regardless the kids enjoyed sleeping in the loft, and both the indoor and outdoor pool and hot tub were clean and very nice. We would stay at the resort again but in a different unit.

Tamarron Lodge

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was completely functional for our family of 5. We really loved the layout and how everyone had their own bed! Couple of things to note, this unit is really outdated - I usually wouldn’t mind but a few things to mention: the shower/tub would not drain so it would fill up while you were showering and be a few inches deep after a 5 minutes shower. There was also black mold on the shower liner and we were left with no hand soap; bottles were nearly empty so I added water- no biggie. Other minus was the curtains were completely ripped so I am not sure why they were still hanging BUT they definitely kept the sun out. Positive was the electric shades up in the loft! The kids slept great and the room was definitely dark so if you are a lite sleeper you will sleep well. Our queen bed downstairs was comfortable and like I said we really liked the functionality of the unit. It was also a quiet unit, we didn’t hear much noise. We love love love Tamarron Lodge it has great amenities and beautiful grounds!
