Welcome to Sunfish Cove – where river adventure meets coastal relaxation!

This fun and cozy 3-bedroom, 2-bath canal-front home offers the best of both worlds: just 20 houses from the main Weeki Wachee River and a short paddle to the Gulf of Mexico. Whether you`re here for outdoor play or a peaceful escape, Sunfish Cove delivers.

Now featuring a brand-new floating dock, making kayak launches, tying up your boat, fishing, or simply relaxing at water level easier than ever.

With 1,260 sq. ft. of indoor living space and over 800 sq. ft. of waterfront outdoor space, there`s room to spread out and soak up the Florida sunshine. Inside, you`ll find coastal charm, comfy furnishings, fast Wi-Fi, and all the essentials for a carefree stay.

Where this home really shines is outside:
• Launch kayaks directly from the new floating dock
• Paddle to the river or Gulf with included kayaks
• Lounge on the oversized swim mat
• Roast marshmallows by the fire pit
• Play cornhole, relax by the water, or fish off the dock

Sleeps up to 8 guests comfortably:
• Bedroom 1: King bed
• Bedroom 2: Queen bed (accessible from both levels)
• Bedroom 3: Twin-over-full bunk + twin-over-twin (sleeps 4–5)
• Plus: Pack ’n play for the littlest travelers

Pet-friendly, with a smart lock for easy check-in, washer/dryer, and parking for up to 4 vehicles. Whether you`re exploring the springs, paddling with manatees, or simply enjoying the view, Sunfish Cove is designed for unforgettable memory-making.

The pet fee of $250 per stay covers up to 2 dogs.

Lovely property perfect for a family get away at the charming Weeki Wachee Springs. We had a memorable spring break at Sunfish Cove. The property is fully stacked with everything you need. Property was clean and welcoming upon arrival and the property managers exceptional. Looking forward to returning again!

The host was exceptional! Very quick responses to questions that we had, which is always very much appreciated. The house was very pet friendly, with having a fenced in area. The house was clean. The kitchen had everything we needed. The best part was the location! Very close to all the excursions we did, bait shop, and restaurants. Very quiet neighborhood. Will definitely love to go back!

Wonderful Getaway

This property was accurately described by the host and the host was wonderful to deal with. Beautiful property with plenty for the kids to do. We enjoyed a nice, cozy, relaxing getaway.

Communication and check in were excellent. A couple of minor issues came up during our stay and our host answered and offer to address them immediately! Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a place on the river that is close to the action but quiet and relaxing. Huge bonus that it was pet friendly.

Perfect week away

The house was just as described and very comfortable. Kelly and Dave were wonderful. Communication was excellent and when we had one small issue (failed breaker), they handled it immediately. I would definitely stay there again!

Great Place on the River

Great property with river access. Kayaks provided and a short 10 minute paddle to Roger's Park and the Upper Deck Cafe. Manatees and dolphins were spotted even though it wasn't manatee season. Property is well kept and the owners are very helpful and hospitable. Would recommend this property to anyone. Easy 5 minute drive to Hernando Beach to try out some of the local cuisine. Everyone was so nice and inviting. What a great vacation!!

Sunfish Cove exceeded our expectations! Located 7 minutes or less from most of our destinations we were thrilled. Foremost on our mind was the kayaking. Although we could have launched from Sunfish cove's private launch we opted for Rogers Park just a few minutes away, or Weeki Wachee State Park. We highly recommend placing a reservation at WeekinWachi State Park where kayakers can launch their own kayaks at 8am for a quite private journey on the river. We also paddled the Chassowitzka River from the Chassowitzka State Park for truly unique paddle. We kayaked every morning and returned to Sunfish Cove to relax and enjoy our accommodations. Local restaurants were impressive. Brian's made the top of our list. We ate out back and ate our delicious meals while observing a bald eagle, turtles and a 3' baby gator. Masa Asian was also delicious. Another great restaurant we visited was Tropical beside the marina where we enjoyed looking out over the canal and enjoying our seafood dinners Don't miss driving to Bayside Park for a breathtaking 320 degree view of the Gulf. We really could not have chosen a more beautiful view than Bayside Park where we took in every beautiful sunset. We will definitely will return to Weeki Wachee and Sunfish Cove. We could not have chosen a more comfortable place to stay. The bed was more comfortable than our bed at home. The living area and porch was lovely and our hosts appropriately attentive. Thank You. We will be back!
