What a great location, setting and accommodations! It was quiet and private but perfect for groups. Lots of memories and a desire to return!

Perfect family getaway!

First time taking my family including my 1 yr old great niece on a vacation and we loved this house! The only minor downfall was the spiders and bugs due to being surrounded by woods although the positive was the privacy. Would definitely recommend to others!

Great house. Friendly owner. The only thing you could nitpick is spraying for spiders or sweeping all the webs outside. Lots of spider webs in walkways, pool area, garage, living room, etc. But it was a great stay!

Hi thank you for your review we use a professional pest control company so with summer just kicking up we just had to get them to come do there summer spray. We have never noticed a spider inside but we have gotten them to come to the property and fix the issues.

Quiet and relaxing

The house is about 15 minutes from the closest beach access. The beaches all have public parking. It rained a ton, but the house provided a comfortable place to swim, enjoy the hot tub and sauna. The owner was responsive and kind as it was unclear as if the weather was going to be severe enough to need to cancel. The mattresses, pillows and furniture are comfortable and modern. I highly recommend!

Perfect Outer Banks retreat

We recently enjoyed a delightful stay at this charming OBX home! The modern and cute furnishings set the perfect backdrop for relaxation. We loved the hot tub and the pool, where we soaked under the stars, and the shuffleboard court provided endless fun and friendly competition. The house had everything we needed for a cozy retreat, allowing us to spend quality time together. They also did extra care to ensure we had a pack and play ready for our baby. :) The house manager was so quick to respond with any questions we had and was incredibly kind. We left feeling rejuvenated and can't wait to return!

Solid Overall

Check-in was smooth as could be. Interior of house is beautiful. Comfortable and new-feeling with a nice kitchen and bedrooms. I could see more than four people being a crowd even with the three bedrooms though since the space itself is not large. Our familyof three was just fine. Out back is also nice. The pool is great but you need to clean it yourself every day or multiple times per day, depending on your bug/toad tolerance. But it’s a wooded property so we didn’t mind the bugs so much. And the bugs aren’t that bad. No mosquito bites at least. The pool itself is great. We didn’t use the sauna. The hot tub is inside in a sort of sun room. It’s nice but whatever. The drive to the beach is 20 minutes. It’s no problem if you don’t have a child that needs an early afternoon nap. There’s nothing right around the house to do (except the weird looking water slide) and no place to eat really to speak of. We cooked breakfast every day and winged the rest, which if I could do it over again I wouldn’t do. No Uber eats or anything like that either. But again, we have a young child.I think the house is ideal for a family or two or three pairs of couples. It’s not that I wouldn’t stay again. But I didn’t like the hassle of driving to the beach. And the beaches down there aren’t the greatest anyway. I also hated that there is no outdoor grill. But that’s me.All in all the owners/managers won’t let you down and you can count on a clean house with all amenities you’d need.

Thank you for your review. I’d like to clarify a few things for future guests reading: 1. Space & Capacity: The home is designed to sleep six guests comfortably and offers plenty of room for families. Referring to it as crowded with more than four people simply doesn’t align with the layout or guest feedback we consistently receive. 2. Pool Maintenance: We have a professional pool service that cleans the pool twice a week. That said, being surrounded by nature means occasional leaves or debris are inevitable something that’s common with every outdoor pool in the Outer Banks. A quick skim is sometimes just part of the experience. 3. Water Slide Comment: The “weird-looking water slide” you mentioned is actually OBX H2O Water Park, a popular local attraction enjoyed by families and visitors of all ages. It supports the local economy and is well-loved by both tourists and residents. 4. Food Delivery: Uber Eats and DoorDash both operate in the area I’ve personally used them at this property. Availability can vary depending on time of day or driver volume, but delivery services do reach the home. 5. Beach Access: The beach is about 15 minutes away, which is clearly noted in our listing. The Outer Banks beaches are among the most beautiful in the U.S. even listed in the Top 10 beaches in America and are a major draw for thousands of visitors every year. 6. Grill Access: We intentionally do not provide a grill due to safety concerns. Unfortunately, grilling accidents and home fires are a real risk in this region. That said, we are considering installing a park-style grill on the property in a designated safe zone, and if/when that happens, we’ll be sure to update the listing. We do our best to set clear expectations in the listing and provide a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience for every guest. We appreciate the opportunity to clarify for those considering a stay.

Amazing experience!!

This trip was nothing but pure bliss, I wanted to take my parents and my mother-in-law to be on a small trip to OBX, I found this quaint property at the very last minute of my travels, the host Artim was able to book me for the same day! On entering the home it was VERY CLEAN, well organized down to the dishes and utensils in the kitchen cabinets, the place smelled fresh and clean and did I mention spotless? Even though they did offer a “pet friendly” property you’d never know if there where any animals there previously, there was no odor, animal fur on the couches, floor or the deck, this property was pristine in every way! The contemporary look was so inviting and made me and my family feel right at home! On entering the bedrooms they were so eclectic and creative in their designing of the lay out, even the furniture made you feel like you were staying at a five star hotel in the 70’s, it was retro yet modern; The lily white lines were a statement by it self! So soft and luxurious and the memory foam mattress was all I needed to conclude a vacation day! The bathrooms had body wash, shampoo and conditioner and hearth and hand products too. If I wasn’t enjoying the lovely amenities like the hot tub, sauna or salted water pool I was cuddled up on the extra large sofa with the convenience of Netflix, Amazon prime, Disney plus etc! We had nothing but a lovely stay, Artim was very receptive, always willing to extend a helping hand and was always there when we needed him. My brother wanted to stop by while he was on his family vacation and when I reached out to Artim he was very accommodating and welcoming of guess he didn’t mind him visiting at all. I can’t say how much I was grateful for a beautiful stay and most of all when I was leaving both Owners were there to bid us farewell. They were so polite and sweet! Whoever books with them next would absolutely love them and this beautiful property they take their business serious and so do their guess, they will never let you down. I will be back!! Thank you and thank you again for accommodating us and making this experience the best of them all

Thank you guys so so much it was a true pleasure hosting you and your family :) A quick note to future guest, this home is “not” pet friendly we did make this change shortly after there stay and there have not been any pets in the home since we started VRBO. (We are huge pet lovers but just decided to keep this home pet free)

Gorgeous house!

This is a beautiful property! We had a great stay. There is everything you need! Fully stocked kitchen. Comfortable furniture. Pool and hot tub were a major plus. Artim was an amazing host! Very attentive. We would definitely stay again. Actually, we didn't want to leave. 😀

Perfect family getaway

We booked for 5 days. The house was exactly like the pictures, but better. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you might need- blender, grater, coffee machine, cutting boards, good knives, etc. The furniture, towels and decor were all high quality. As a bonus, it was next to a property that has horses, donkeys, roosters and peacocks. Our daugthers loved watching the animals. The drive to the beach was short and easy, but honestly, the pool, outdoor furniture and the house were so relaxing, that we only made it to the beach once! Despite having to work a bit, we felt we had a great vacation with a lot of quality family time. Artim, the host, was extremely responsive and welcoming, and had great tips for the area. I would rebook and already have recommended this oasis to others. You won’t regret it.
