Great home

We stayed here because it was close to the place my cousin was getting married. We didn’t know what to expect as we were coming from Colorado and had never been to the east coast. We were pleasantly surprised at how great this location was, it was in close proximity to so many wonderful places to go exploring. The hosts were accommodating and friendly.

Quick availability

Rented this for family members that lost home to fire. Needed a place to stay while insurance arrangements were in play. This rental was a quick turn. No issues from our family members

Family visit

Great place. A bit out of the way, but still fairly centrally located. Only thing negative is the great bedroom has to queens and the den has a convertible bed. So if you are a family with children, the sleeping arangements are a bit odd. Everything else was great, very comfortable and as advertised.

Lake vacation

We had a fabulous time! This house is in excellent condition and has everything you need to make your stay just like home. The views of the lake from every room are incredible. 1 minute walk across the street to the lake.we enjoyed some paddle boarding and family time in the beach. I would not change anything about this house. It’s all perfect. Thank you to the very nice and friendly owners for sharing it. I look forward to seeing them and staying there again.

Overall host was easy to communicate with and place clean. This is not mobility friendly for older adults. Steep narrow stairway. No bathroom (this was in listing) on 2nd floor where beds are so difficult for older people to navigate. Was a bit challenging for my elderly parents but the place was near lake which they let them use and great communication by owner.

Lovely neighborhood but not Disability friendly

The house and location were beautiful and just what you would expect for a cottage. We have some mobility issues and a few outside steps without a railing were problematic. There is a folding couch downstairs. To be fair, I didn’t check for those things. It was immaculate. Good view. Friendly neighbors.

We enjoyed our week long stay in this lovely Hampstead home. It was the perfect location for our vacation as we visited Maine and Massachusetts as well as near by parts of New Hampshire. So it worked well as a central base for us. The home was just as advertised and very clean. The neighborhood and neighbors were quiet and friendly. We would definitely stay here again. If I had one wish for the home, it would be that there was a kayak or paddle board of some sort on the property to use in the lake. Also a heads up for elderly guest, the stairs to the upstairs sleeping area are a little on the steep side. Other than that 10/10!

Growing up around lakes and enjoying simple moments like fishing off the dock, paddle boarding at sunset, or gathering around the fire pit with s’mores — those memories really stuck with us. We love hosting because it gives us the chance to share that lake life experience with others. Whether you're here for a family vacation, a quiet getaway, or just some time to relax, we want you to feel at home and truly unwind.

When we're not by the lake, you can usually find us exploring the outdoors, working on little home projects, or spending time with friends and family — ideally somewhere with a great view and a good meal!
