Great amenities/well stocked house. Had everything we needed. Great location with easy access to the river and hot tub all ready for our stay. The location on the river is a popular spot for locals on the weekends so it can get loud. AC was great. Would consider booking again if in the area.

Peaceful location

Overall we had a wonderful stay. The house is in a great location and the river is magical. The house has a different layout with the second bathroom not located with the rest of the living space and the plumbing is loud but it was clean and had a lot of kitchen equipment available so cooking at home was easy. The host was very responsive for any questions. You will enjoy your stay here.

Beautiful stay

Meiya and Tom were excellent hosts. They were caring, thoughtful and attentive. Meiya was always responsive to questions or needs. They have a beautiful property on the river. Despite having some plumbing issues, they went above and beyond to accommodate. The house was well stocked with basic essentials and the neighborhood was nice. They have a lovely enclosed back porch which was the highlight of the property in my opinion. The commute to Portland wasn’t bad and the surrounding towns were nice. I appreciated the nearby walking trails and peaceful setting. If given the opportunity, I would happily stay at the home again. Thank you.

This rental was a complete scam. The listing is false and misleading. It claims to be 2,560 square feet and in reality only about 1,800, at best and that is counting the walkways outside the main house and the vending machine area. Also in that outside area is a half bath which in the listing it says it has 2 baths. This would be the second bath and it is only a toilet (which didn't work properly for 4 weeks of our stay) and a sink. The nails on the deck boards had popped up, many about one half inch providing tripping hazards. We did hammer the worst ones down. We couldn't seat more that 3 people inside as there is only 1 sofa in the living room. The deck has a very nice view but the framed glass railing was so filthy and the tree so overgrown you couldn't see the river.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. However, we believe some of your comments may not fully reflect the reality of your experience. From our communication, we understand that Louis and Lynne Knight had a wonderful time at our riverside property. In fact, you even reached out on the first day to mention that you hadn’t initially noticed the two bedrooms. Additionally, we were more than happy to assist you when you had trouble logging into your primary video account, which we promptly helped resolve. We’ve always strived to provide an exceptional experience for our guests, which is reflected in the consistently high reviews we’ve received over the years. It’s disappointing to see inaccurate comments, which could be seen as an attempt to retaliate against the positive reputation we’ve built with our property. We value honest and constructive feedback, and we hope this clarifies any misunderstandings. If you have any further concerns, please don’t hesitate to let us know.

We really enjoyed our six night. Stay at this property. They were very responsive to the few questions we had! The porch is amazing, the hot tub was nice and hot, the river is relaxing. A hot tip is that you need to pull both handles in the shower to get water. Magical!

Seems the pictures online were from few years ago as the property has not been kept up. They need a better cleaning crew, several things were not up to par or even usable. Love the river, but there is NO access for fishing although the pictures and explanation suggested there was. Disappointed but had a great stay. Be prepared to do some self cleaning. Host did immediately replace empty propane tank for outdoor fireplace. Bring your stuff, it’s bare bones.

This property is absolutely beautiful—you can open the door and listen to the river flowing by. The kitchen is spacious and perfect for cooking, and the home is incredibly quiet while still being close to town. I can only imagine how amazing it is here in the summer! We originally stayed for one week and ended up extending for another because of the location and the amenities. Highly recommend this place!

Be prepared for several small steps into the kitchen and bathroom area. Otherwise, the beds were very comfortable and the Washougal river was very pleasant to have morning coffee right outside the kitchen.
