Beautiful, clean and recently renovated classic cottage in private gated community in Old Lyme, Connecticut. Weekly summer rental and long weekends available in fall and winter: 2 bedrooms with 1 bath and outdoor enclosed shower. Steps from beautiful sandy beach . Home sleeps 6 in beds with additional pull-out couch.
* 2 bedrooms/1 full Bath home (Sleeps 6) in family friendly neighborhood yet close to town, shopping, restaurants and other tourist locations. Just a short walk brings you to the large spacious Private Old Colony Beach.
* Outside, enjoy the private patio with patio table, chairs and gas BBQ. The driveway can accommodate 3 cars.
*Outside enclosed shower to rinse off after a day at the beach or just enjoy a shower under the stars or indoors enjoy the walkin tile shower.
* The Brand new fully equipped kitchen with pots, pans, bakeware, utensils, serving Utensils, BBQ set, dishes, glassware, wine glasses, coffee mugs, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, blender, microwave, fridge/ freezer. New Granite countertops with bar that seats 4. Dining are with table and chairs to seat 6. A utility room with washer and dryer is here so no need to bring home any dirty clothes.
*The 2 Bedrooms are all provided with comforters and pillows, just bring your own sheets. Master bedroom has a queen bed and the other bedroom has full size bunk beds plus a twin size trundle.
*The front porch is a great place to relax in the AM w/your morning coffee or evenings with your favorite wine or reading your newest novel.
* Tech wise the home has WIFI with a Smart TV in the Living room ready for your apps/ streaming services (don’t forget your passwords).
* Relax in your fireplaced living room which has a sofa which opens to a bed.
*During the summer season, take the kids for a bike ride over to Sound View, ride the carousel (hope you get the brass ring), treat yourself to some ice cream at the Carousel Shop or Vecchitto's Italian Ice. If you are not into the little kid stuff, Kokomo's or the Pavilion can provide a fun night!
*Plenty of things to do within a short drive, Mystic Aquarium or Seaport, Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun Casino, Goodspeed Opera House, Essex Steam Train, Westbrook and Clinton Outlet Malls, Golf courses, Kayaking, Fishing...Chamard Vineyards



Just a few housekeeping rules to be sure you enjoy your vacation home
* Since this is a fun and quiet family neighborhood, we cannot accommodate large parties/ groups under age 21. Please enjoy the deck, backyard, but outdoor activities should be kept quiet after 10 pm.
*Since this is our beach home, we expect guests who stay, to treat it with respect and care. Any damage or stolen items will be charged to the guest.
*Events are limited to 10 total attendees, including the guests in the home.
*There is no smoking/ vaping of any kind in the house or anywhere on the property please. Evidence of any form of smoking may result in immediate eviction and an additional $200 cleaning fee will be charged.
*Standard Check in is at 4 and Check-out is by 11 am.
If we can accommodate an early check in or late check out we will let you know, but we cannot guarantee it as there may be guests leaving/ arriving before or after you and the cleaners need time to prepare the home to be in tip top shape for other guests as well as for you!
*Though there is a cleaning service, we kindly request you leave the home in the condition/ cleanliness you found it. The home is thoroughly cleaned, sanitized and restocked for every guest.
