This charming lower-level condo is the ideal home base for your Glen Arbor vacation. The riverfront location means direct access to loads of fun on the water. Inside, cozy up by the fireplace, stretch out on the sofa, or gather around for a group movie night. Prepare anything from full meals to waterside snacks in the well-equipped kitchen. And rest easy at night in the comfortable bedroom. The sofabed in the living room provides an additional sleeping space.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Nice Unit at a Great Location

We loved the view of the Crystal River and Lake Michigan from the large door wall window. The beach with its sunsets was a short walk. The condo is on a ground floor which is convenient.

Nice place

The condo was very nice furniture a bit outdated and the mattress definitely needs to be replaced saggy at best. Someone had put raccoon traps out in the back we awoke two mornings to 4 trapped raccoons 😞.

Serene with a great view

Peaceful serene condo with fern, river, dune and lake view. Very nice stay for those who like a little privacy and nature. Very convenient location to walk to beach, trails, observatory, Leelanau school, or Homestead Inn. Bed was comfy but could use a bedding quilt refresh. Kitchen was great for cooking and we enjoyed several breakfasts. Lots of birds, chipmunks, deer and nature right outside the large sliding door and private deck.

Super 44th anniversary stay!!

Nice unit, easily accessible on the first floor. Lovely forest, river, and lake view. Nicely furnished, nothing fancy but it has what you need. Tub and bathroom sink slow to drain- would recommend a fix on that. Enjoyed our stay very much!

Great location, but not the Condo

Place is located on the water in the Homestead, but the place smelled very musty, not very clean and no pool access.

Nicely located in The Homestead, but beware, beach club privileges are not included and they don’t specify that until you’ve paid. (And if you’re like me you probably won’t see that before the cancellation period is over.) Vacasa did not respond to my concerns. Inside was very clean. I have a few minor maintenance notes if anyone cares. Says there’s a gym and fire pit, but where? And where’s the parking pass. Decor is pleasant but bed and pillows hard.

Crystal Beach 13 - very, very meh.

The home was very shabby, not updated at all. The toilet was like a child's toilet. So far to the ground. The house made noises all night. The walls are paper thin, so you could hear people walking, pounding, doors opening and sliding all...night...long. The bed even squeaked so loudly it was hard to sleep. The water smelled like sulfur, but believe that's just lake water in general. I wouldn't recommend. Not for the $1,000 we spent.

Crystal beach 13 - September 2024

Pros - unit was clean when we arrived. There were plenty of clean towels and sheets for our use. Cons - this condo is in need of updating. The bathroom tub faucet doesn't work that well, difficult to maintain temperature when you're taking a shower we were infested with fruit flies. There were a few when we arrived and it got much worse during the week we bought some traps at the local hardware. The traps sort of worked, but there were so many fruit flies that it was impossible to keep up. the electrical outlet on the left side of the couch was not working properly and shorted out a couple of times. Probably should be checked or replaced. It seems to be a hazard.

Great space for a couple or small family (our 4+8 y/o used the pull-out couch) - we loved waking with the view of the lake and enjoyed hiking/biking around the Homestead, as well as other local trails. Will definitely return!

Wonderful! Very peaceful. We didn’t get in until late at night but we woke up to a beautiful view of the bay. Unit was very clean - comfortable bed, though I couldn’t figure out how to shut the floor heater off!

Bones of the unit seemed solid, but interior-wise, badly needs a refresh . Uncomfortable furniture, old squeaky bed, threadbare bath towels and bedding. Could be much better with some updates.

Noisy experience

Active building construction from 8am-5pm daily! Hammering and banging. Unit sound proofing insufficient allowing every found from upstairs neighbors to be heard including cabinets, drawers, doors opening and closet so big, their conversations, etc.
