The condo was very clean except under the master bedroom bed- very dirty. I informed Sea Star. The first night my husband woke with ants crawling on him. Pest sprayer came Wednesday afternoon. We slept in the second bedroom until the last night. The condo is close to parking and to the pool and beach entrances. Using the phone for the gates was not the most convenient but usually someone let us in using cards or probe. The door code to get in the condo did not work the last night. Fortunately we were able to contact someone at Sea Star and were able to get in. We had a wonderful week connecting with friends.

Family Refresh Time

We had a wonderful time staying in Surfside SC. The unit was very clean, well maintained and beautifully furnished. Our family spent the week enjoying the beach and searching for beautiful seashells. We even had a large pod of dolphins playing in front of our unit. All wonderful memories! Thank you for hosting our family.

Pool was indicated as being heated and it was not. I had to asked for the codes to get into the parking lot and other areas. There was a bike rack, storage for our bikes, that was not communicated! The view is nice, but very close to the other unit’s windows. We thought we would have contact through the host and not SeaStar Reality. Only 1 dish cloth and dish towel for 9 nights. No dishwashing liquid. The place was not very clean and both beds sounded like the support/frames were damaged- uncomfortable and loud. The ocean was amazing and Conch cafe did not disappoint!

Thank you for sharing this feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the ocean and the area, and we’re sorry for the frustrations you experienced. We were not aware of the community‑wide pool repairs or the temporary gate‑code access issues prior to your arrival, but once notified we communicated with the community as quickly as possible to assist. We also provide a digital link with all gate codes and access details, and we’re sorry that wasn’t easily accessible for you. I’m glad you enjoyed the ocean and Conch Café. If you’d like to share any additional details about your stay, please send them via Vrbo messages so we can follow up and improve.

The property was beautiful and clean. The realty company was very responsive. We not given key faubs to enter the buildind and pool. We had to use the links on our phone. Having a key faub would have been easier. We stayed in other properties in One Ocean Place and were given key fauns.

Condo was roomy and nicely decorated. Views from balcony were awesome! Had a little trouble at check in with codes to multiple gates that was not provided and explained at check in. We took my mom with us and she does not get around well unable to do stairs and that was the only way to the beach. Also the sliding glass doors were really hard to open and shut. She was not able to do on her own.

We’re glad you enjoyed the space and views! Sorry for the check-in confusion; the link sent prior to arrival includes all gate and access details. We’ll also look into the beach access and door functionality to improve future stays.

Loved that the parking was so close to our condo. What a plus! And the beautiful space on ocean front to hear the ocean each day! No real negative, we had to figure out the remotes which confused us in the beginning. Maybe instructions depending on what we were looking to do. We are older😎. Will want to return!

Beautiful condo-lousy rental agency

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Condo was beautiful, but the rental agency was not helpful once I arrived. They texted me the wrong access code to the parking garage. When I couldn't figure out where the elevators were, where to unload, and where to park, they said they didn't know anything about the building complex, they only manage the unit. I had to find out the hard way that this building is split in two and has separate elevators for each side of the building. Their general lack of knowledge and indifference to my confusion was unacceptable! Then I found out the next day that I needed access codes to the pools and beach gates, which they never sent me until I called to complain. Although the actual condo was beautiful,I will not use this rental agency again.
