We respectfully disagree with this review, as the statement that the pool and spa “did not work the whole time” is simply not accurate. The guest arrived very late in the evening during an unusually cold weather period for Southwest Florida. Temperatures dropped to approximately 48°F, which is exceptionally cold for this area and can significantly impact how quickly a pool heater is able to raise water temperatures. The pool heater and pool system were operating continuously during the stay. However, pool heaters are designed to maintain and gradually increase temperature — they cannot instantly heat a large body of water to very high temperatures when outside conditions are unusually cold. We explained this to the guest multiple times during the stay, including that colder weather conditions can substantially slow down the heating process despite the equipment functioning properly. Unfortunately, outdoor temperatures are an environmental factor beyond anyone’s control, similar to rain or other weather-related conditions. At no point was the pool or spa equipment non-operational. The system was running as intended throughout the guest’s stay.
