My dog and I really had a great stay. It was my first visit to Carolina Beach and I would stay here again. The place was clean and the bed was comfortable. I liked the location in that it was quiet and 100 yards from the beach.

Was exactly what we needed for the long Labor Day weekend. The best part was how close the walk to the beach was. The condo was clean and just the right size for us and our dog. Would definitely book again. Only negative I would say is that the blind in the bedroom needs to be replaced.

This property is adorable! Great use of space and great location for beach access. It is pet friendly, so just be aware of that if you have any issues with pet hair. This place seems to stay steadily booked, so its hard to keep up with all the pet hair, I'm sure! Otherwise, the Bluebird on the Beach is a very pleasant stay.

Close to the beach in a pet-friendly neighborhood. Wonderful air conditioning and ceiling fans. Beach chairs and coffee provided! Peaceful and pleasant.

Brought my dog for a beach trip. Quaint unit in a great location across from beach access and walkable to the Carolina Beach Pier. Unit had ample space for us and was easy to get into and clean (some sand/humidity is inevitable). My only issue is that the kitchen was largely not functional: Keurig and dishwasher did not work and there is a lack of utensils and cookware that would make cooking difficult. A great spot for a beach trip!

Everytime I need something or asked a question, it was crickets. Excellently when I first checked in. It’s like they’re too busy to respond at all?? They said we would get a key fob for pool access (overnighted). Never got it, we still had pool access nearby, I asked if the clothing dryer could be fixed, no response for days. I asked to see the pool multiple times before we made the trip, nothing.

We totally enjoyed our stay here! Wonderful place and a lot to do in Carolina Beach even off season! Great restaurants. Amy is an amazing host! Very responsive, very knowledgeable about the area and attentive to needs. We will book again.

Short visit to the Wilmington area to visit my son and his family. I was looking for a small, quiet place to relax when not spending time with the family. This spot met my need perfectly.

Very slow responses from host. Blinds in the bedroom were torn up. No linens for the pullout couch. Sticky kitchen counters. No lock on sliding door serious security risk the way the condo is situated. Someone could climb from the stairs onto the balcony less than 3 feet, and enter at any time.Vrbo was extremely unhelpful. I have never ever had a worse experience. My daughter and I had to leave the first night. We were there and didn’t even stay because of the security risk.

Great Pet Friendly Place

We loved our stay at this pet friendly condo. Our dog enjoyed standing on the balcony and watching passerby’s. We loved how short of a walk it was to the beach. It’s a nice quiet community and an excellent place to stay.

It was nice, but we wish the fob to the pool would’ve worked, but we had the ocean to swim in so it wasn’t a big deal. I think the price per night for the condo was a little too much though just for the two of us….

Perfect for weekend getaway

Condo was clean and management very attentive! Not a large kitchen so not ideal for cooking lots of meals, but perfect for a weekend getaway.
