Ferrer family vacation 2025

An oasis away from home! My family and I enjoyed every minute at this Beautiful pool home the game room kept us enjoying each others company and laughter. The neighborhood was quiet and near every thing target and good food. The grill and pool made it even better! Host is awesome and responded to our questions fast . Thank you we will definitely be back.The house was beautiful and clean which make the stay feel just like home!

Pool was nice

Quiet neighborhood. Easy to find. A couple of items need some attention. Dishwasher needs anchoring. Opened it and it almost tipped over. Broken glass in the pool area when we got there. Otherwise a good place to stay. Kids enjoyed the pool.

Cute house

Nice accommodations. Awkward where living room tv is located and futon sofa is ready to fall apart. Decor is lovely but some things need a little TLC. Pool area very nice but wish charge for heating pool and hot tub was listed on rental.

Adorable house

This was the perfect location for a quick getaway for a hockey game. We had a couple of little hiccups, but good communication with our host got most of them straightened out. We were hoping for a little break from the cold weather but Mother Nature had other plans with very cool Florida weather. The hot tub was the perfect way to warm up and the newly fenced in yard provided plenty of privacy.

Great location

We needed a house for a big weekend tournament at the Tampa Sports Complex and this house was perfect. Around 10 mins away and passes by several food, coffee, grocery locations along the way. Also very close to downtown Tampa if that’s what you’re looking for. Sweet little house and really enjoyed the hot tub and also sitting on the front porch and unwinding after long day of sports.

Myself and my family drove 12 hours from Virginia and stayed for a week at this amazing property !! It felt like home away from home ! A very peaceful neighborhood and the owner was very gratifying and communicated very efficiently !! We definitely will be revisiting this home , and we greatly appreciate the hospitality. Great getaway

Enjoyed the convenience to Tampa and Valrico. We have visited Florida once a year for the last 3 years and always love to come back. This is our first time staying and Riverview. The location was close to shopping, restaurants and made travel easy to and from Tampa and Valrico. The house was well maintained, and the pool was very relaxing after a long day. I would highly recommend this beautiful home for your next stay in Riverview., FL.

Safe Comfortabke Stay!

My family and my parents stayed here during Hurricane Milton because we had to evacuate out of our mobile home. As scary as that storm was, we stayed safe and alive. No windows busted. The day prior we swam in the pool together, hung out in the spa. It really was the perfect place to bring our family close together in the midst of chaos. Thank you so much!

An Absolutely Honest Review

Kathleen is a very communicative host. The house is old and re done. Its got great potential. It was accurate in its description. I wish I had seen the part about paying for heat ala cart. We were charged an additional 60 for 2 days of hot water in the hot tub. Our choice mind you but you typically expect a hot tub to be hot. Take charcoal if you wanna cook they don't provide. Bring a lighter to light it, theirs didn't work. Make sure you bring ice, we had none, not even the ice trays filled. If you arrange a late check out be sure you clear it with everyone. Kathleen's father came in a half hour before our arranged check out to tell us we needed to leave. If you don't prefer single ply toilet paper you might wanna bring some. I sent the owner an email about everything that bothered me here. I could have spent less in an ocean front condo in Clearwater. Disappointing to say the least but she did accommodate our dog after i didn't include one and did so at a discounted rate for my naivety. I don't want to seem ungrateful but for two hundred a night i think my bill was almost a thousand for 2 nights. It wasn't worth it.

Anniversary Stay

We stayed here for a week and enjoyed our time here at the house. Everything was great, we really enjoyed the pool area. After attending spring training games in the heat of the day, it was nice to come back and cool off in the pool. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

A home away from home

This rental was a real home where the owner cared for the guests with both the amenities and communication. The heated pool and hot tub were so welcome after enjoying the Tampa area. I highly recommend this rental because it was conveniently located to downtown Tampa’s food scene and Steinbrenner field where we took in a Yankees Spring training game. If I could give the rental 10 stars, I would. Thanks Kathleen!!!

The home is very cozy and true to listing. I would've liked the outside space and pool to be cleaner. There was a lot of debris inside the pool and the outside sitting areas were dirty. Other than that the home was clean.

Kept us all busy!

The house was set in a quiet neighborhood with off the street parking and fenced yard. The inside is immaculate and welcoming, comfortable beds and bedding with great bathroom lighting and water pressure! There are tons of fun features to keep everyone busy including games, darts, pool and foosball inside, with games, pool toys and a covered seating area outside as well! Pool and hot tub are clean and warm, and the lines of communication were always open with the host throughout the stay with any questions we had about operating the hot tub! Would definitely recommend and stay again!!

Clean and fun, but a little worn

I’ll start by saying communication with Kathleen was super easy and quick! We were also able to check in about 30 minutes early, which was nice since it was raining so much when we got to Tampa. Pros of property: the pool and games! We loved the pool and with kids ages 4 and 7, we spent most of every day there. My husband and kids also spent a lot of time at the foosball table and using the Ms. Pac-Man machine! The beds were also very comfortable and the house was clean Cons: the furniture left a little to be desired. The futon in the game room was downright dangerous to sit on- totally falling apart. It would have been nice to have somewhere comfortable to sit in there since there isn’t a TV in the room with the more comfortable couch. In the back bedroom, there wasn’t a dresser to put clothes. In the main bedroom, there wasn’t a closet. It just kind of felt cheaply furnished- besides the comfortable beds! Also, the dishwasher needs to be secured. If you pull out the racks, the whole thing tips over. Location: there are plenty of grocery shopping areas and chain places to eat around here. The closest beach access we could find was 30 minutes away, so that wasn’t my favorite- but that just may be a Tampa thing. Also, I wish there were some more mom and pop type seafood places nearby. I still give this place 3.5 to 4 stars, though, because the pool area is really great and swimming with the kids was really what it was all about for us!

An Absolutely Honest Review

This is my first VRBO experience, I have only used Its competition previously.From the initial booking to the last interaction was both good and bad. Initially I did not see a pet fee but Kathleen was nice enough to discount it. Upon arrival, We find an older home in an older neighborhood. Its been redone inside and there are some very nice finishes but some things that missed the mark.The listing was for 203 or so per night and we were in town for a concert. The initial booking was over 950 for 2 nights with the pet fee discounted. We hopped right in the pool of course not realizing that the "heated" pool was not included in our reservation, nor was the hot tub. Of course this is in the listing that it could invur a fee. The fee was 30 per day for either the pool or hot tub or 50 per day for both. We're now over 1,000 for a house and the rules say quiet time starts at 10pm. Not going to lie, i could have spent less money to stay at a hotel and not had to pay for a hot hottub... Seems like if you list a hot tub it should at least be hot.The property itself was not bad, it was far from perfect. There is a ton of potential for the place but it certainly was not worth 1000 for a weekend, again I could have stayed ocean front in Clearwater for what I paid.I felt nickle and dimed to death. But we paid for it so we decided to make the best of it.We expected that there would be ice in the freezer for drinks, nope. Had to go to Publix for that. Continued review on Google
