We were looking for a place within a short distance to the Inn and found this gem. The property was spotless and comfortable. It would have been an ideal base for a trip to Shenandoah had that been part of our itinerary. It's just a short walk to the Inn. The house was a welcome destination after the meal and wine.

This is a charming spot right next to the inn, perfect place to stay. It was so clean and had so many thoughtful touches throughout. The owners are responsive and friendly. We were so happy we stayed here. Only downside is slow WiFi which I only mention so you are prepared in case you need to do any work that requires a solid WiFi connection. Highly recommend, would stay here again!

This property is just down the block from the renowned Inn at Little Washington and makes for a great alternative to staying at the Inn itself. Our hostess made us feel very welcome when we arrived and gave us lots of tips on what to see in this very quaint village. We were in town to dine at the Inn and didn't fix any meals at the property, but what we needed we were able to find.in the kitchen. Highly recommended!

Great alternative to the Inn

The accommodations were kept very clean and about a 1-2 min walk to The Inn at Little Washington. The town is very small so there are few places to stay outside of the Inn which can be very expensive. This place was a great alternative. Additionally, Oxana was an excellent host who met us as we arrived and gave us loads of information about the town. She was also exceptional with communication leading up to our arrival.

Great Experience!

We were having dinner at the Inn, and this little house was absolutely perfect for our stay! A complete kitchen, living/dining area, and a very comfortable bedroom and bathroom. If you are dining at the Inn, but don’t want to spend the hundreds of dollars to stay at one of the Inn’s properties, this place is perfect!

Perfect location

We stayed for here for our dinner at the inn, which is literally around the corner. The hosts were above and beyond friendly and oriented us to the town. The space itself was clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone who was looking for somewhere to stay for the inn

You can't beat this place for location, price, and friendliness!

Oksana and Jeff are wonderful. They gave us a great history of the town. The house and apartment is adorable. We really enjoyed our stay with them and will be coming back.

Great location

Great location, especially if you have reservations at the Inn at Little Washington. The cottage was a good size for my two friends and I. Th hosts were awesome and very communicative. Nice getaway from the DC area.

Still a gem!

We had a wonderful return visit to stay at Oxana and Jeff’s adorable Colonial Cottage. Once again, our hosts anticipated all our needs and provided us with a charming escape. Incredible location, easy parking and check-in and all the comforts of home. Thanks much for a lovely stay. We’ll be back!

Washington, VA close to everything, sleepy little town

Beautiful cottage experience. Perfect space for me and my oldest daughter as we enjoyed hiking and local restaurants in and around Shenandoah National Park. Check in and departure were simple and efficient. This place is a perfect home-base for enjoying one of the best national parks on the eastern seaboard. Will definitely visit again.

We chose this neighborhood because it’s truly one of the most peaceful, charming places we’ve ever known.
