This is the basement unit of a 2 unit house located minutes from downtown Winston Salem & Baptist Hospital in the charming Ardmore neighborhood. Easy access to both 40 & 421.
This completely renovated, 1 bedroom, basement apartment is fully stocked & set for a comfortable stay of any length.
The modern decor & creature comforts of this private, 600 sq ft apartment offer a welcome environment for personal or professional travel.
You will hear noise from the upstairs apartment during your stay.

We provide designated, off street covered parking and a shared laundry area free of charge.
This is a basement apartment. If there are guests upstairs, you will hear them moving around.

You will have access to a digital 670+ movie library as well as free wifi.

You will receive the entry code to the front door (located under the carport at the bottom of the driveway) 24 hours before check-in. The entire house (2 units) is solely used as an AirBnB.

Ardmore is an ecclectic neighborhood that has been around since the 1940's. Full of history and character, the location and access to ammenities and freeways make it one of the most desirable historic neighborhoods in Winston Salem.

You are going to want a car to get around town from here.

There is NO SMOKING permitted and no pets are allowed. Please be courteous to other guests and observe Quiet Hours between 10:30 PM and 8:00 AM.

Loved staying at this place. My wife and I were traveling to take our grandson home in NC but my wife had a medical emergency, requiring a week stay at local hospital. The hosts were prompt in responses and communication. Apartment was clean, nice kitchen, basic equipment, comfortable, relaxing decor, restful bed and great location. There are a number of attractions, shopping and excellent places to eat within minutes of the apartment. It’s 3 minutes to the hospital, I could have walked there. Parking can be tricky it’s a basement apartment. You have to back into driveway, which is on an incline, to drive out onto street to exit. Backing out of driveway would not be safe on this street with a curve on the right and left. Overall a great place to stay, recommend it and would definitely stay again.

Prime location

This was the perfect location for us to assist our son getting moved to UNCSA. Lovely neighborhood close to everything we needed. The apt is the concerted basement of a house. The unit is clean and very well appointed. I would stay here again.

Nice little place

Visiting WS for a family gathering - cousins live in Ardmore area so this was very convenient. Most of our time was spent elsewhere at a larger house. This place was clean and met our needs. Couch not very comfortable, but we were not there much. Also, bathroom sink a bit tiny, but it was sufficient for our needs.

Great place in a quiet convenient neighborhood

Rented the basement unit for homecoming weekend. Such a nice, cozy, VERY nicely updated place (better than the overpriced local hotels). Came in from the rain to covered parking. Have access to washer/dryer. Plenty of room for 1-2 people and possibly 3-4 if there was an inflatable mattress. Property manager was very responsive. Will stay again!

cozy basement apartment

I am giving this 3 stars only because...the pictures were correct. The neighborhood is correct. I live here in Winston Salem. The 600 sqr feet is correct.However. The bathroom is so small. The shower is horrible. Doesn't work properly. The door to the bathroom provides no privacy.The kitchen is nice, but the refrigerator door doesn't shut right. If you want to cook for get about it. No real pots,pans,silverware,or dishes. The washer and dryer are there. No liquid to use them. Patio. It took me three days to find seating as it was in the laundry room. That said. We would not stay there again. The upstairs is also a rental and very happy know one was up there
