Welcome to Crystal Sands, a premier beachfront condominium located on Scenic Highway 98 in the heart of Destin, Florida. This three-story Gulf-front retreat offers direct access to sugar-white sands and emerald waters, making it an ideal vacation rental for couples, families, and small groups seeking a memorable coastal escape.

Crystal Sands 209A is a bright and airy one-bedroom condo that sleeps up to six guests:

King Bedroom: Plush bed with en suite bathroom for ultimate comfort

Hallway Bunk Beds: Perfect for kids or additional guests

Living Room: Full-size sleeper sofa, cozy seating, and flat-screen TV

The open-concept living and dining areas are bathed in natural light from sliding glass doors that open to a private balcony with uninterrupted Gulf views, perfect for morning coffee or evening sunset cocktails. The dining table seats four, plus four additional seats at the granite-topped kitchen bar. A convenient half bath completes the space.

Here at Modern Beach Vacation Rentals, we strive for perfection with our attention to detail and level of customer service that no other group in town will match. We hope you choose this property, as we'll do all we can to make sure you have an amazing and memorable vacation!

Personal umbrellas, tents, tarps, canopies, or cabanas are not permitted on the beach, with the exception of baby tents which may not exceed 48” in height. Umbrellas and chairs are available for rent through the onsite beach service. Private chairs are allowed to be set up behind the rental row of umbrellas.

Crystal Sands is a smoke free environment. This includes: smoking of any kind on the grounds, walkways, balconies, patios, parking lots, sidewalks, boardwalks, or the beach.

COMPLIMENTARY BEACH SERVICE
Beach Service is provided seasonally from March 1st - October 31st, weather permitting, and is only offered during regular business hours until 5pm.

You will find everything you need in the property to make the most of your time on the Emerald Coast. We offer a starter kit of premium, eco-friendly guest amenities including: Shampoo, Conditioner, Body and Face Soap, Toilet Paper, Facial Tissues, Dish Soap, Dishwasher Pods, Laundry Detergent, Paper Towels, Trash Bags, Dish Sponge, Bath Towels, and Bed linens.

Amazing view and location

Perfect place for my wife and me to vacation. Condo had everything we needed along with amazing views and location. Beautiful beach and the chairs and umbrella were a bonus.

Everything was just as pictured, we had such a great family stay, we did need a few more blankets but we figured it out. Note to owner, the dryer wasn’t drying well, the dryer lint trap is on the back inside wall of the dryer, I finally found it and opened it up, there was so so much lint that the wire on the lint trap had melted in places, I vacuumed it out but might want to leave a note on dryer to change lint trap and where it’s located. Just to prevent future problems. The beach service was amazing and we would definitely stay again. Also need a few new skillets for cooking as the finish is coming off of the current cookware. There were 5 of us and we had plenty of room and all of us enjoyed our stay! Thank you!

Perfect for our family

Easy check in, very clean and updated. Kids loved the bunk beds. Close to everything. Perfect for my small family. Great communication, and we were checked on several times through out the week. Extremely easy process overall! We would stay here again!

Love this property!

This is the second time we have stayed at Crystal Sands; we love it. Nothing is better than staying right on the beach. And the complimentary chairs are fantastic! There was always available parking. The unit was very neat and clean. There was plenty of room. I was worried the bunks might be small but my teenagers had plenty of room. It was the perfect stay!

Mildew Mess

The location was excellent. The private beach with beach chairs was good. The condo itself was very old and had a very strong smell of mildew. They tried to cover it up with a plug in so then it was a flowery mildew smell. It was the strongest in the master bedroom, where you are sleeping. I feel bad leaving this review but everyone should be warned.

Sunshine & never ending waves

The newly Remodeled unit was decorated in perfect beach style with soft blues and Oceanside deco pieces. The bed linens and towels were top quality. A few nice soaps & hair conditioner were a hospitable touch. Liked how the main couch faced the ocean rather than the TV. Appreciated that there were luggage racks & an elevator. There was a movie DVD player in the bedroom, but might have been better placed in the living room. If you were coming to Florida by plane & don’t want to lug extra things home, you might want to bring a weeks’ supply of coffee filters or Keurig pods and some tissues & a night light. It would be nice if the owners would supply some Windex & a dust pan. Otherwise a bit of dishwasher and laundry soap is provided along with the few bathroom amenities. Property was conveniently located a few miles from Harbor Village, boardwalk and the pier where there are many wonderful restaurants. If you’re craving is for fresh fish at any of the restaurants, you can expect to pay up to $37 for an entrée. We really liked Captain Dave’s & the Sky Bar at the Edge for its seafood.

The unit was clean and tidy when I arrived.The master bedroom mattress was very uncomfortable to me. I only slept there two nights and then moved to one of the bunks in the hall.The jets in the bath tub were very dirty. It did not affect me because I wasn't taking a bath. But, someone with small children would have needed the bathtub, I would not have bathed my child in there.I dropped something under the couch and had to get down on my hands and knees to retrieve it. I am pretty sure no one has cleaned under there in quite a while.

Leider war die Wohnung schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen und benötigt dringend einen neuen Anstrich. Auch die Sauberkeit ließ zu wünschen übrig - es war aber alles vorhanden, so dass wir saugen und fegen konnten. Der Kontakt zur Agentur war leider nicht so gut - wir hatten Schwierigkeiten mit der Dusche und haben erst am zweiten Tag herausgefunden, wie sie funktioniert. Die vordere Herdplatte war ebenfalls defekt. Die Lage war traumhaft und ruhig. Die Wohnung hat ein Problem mit Feuchtigkeit Stockflecken an der Decke. Strand traumhaft schön…sonst fehlte es an nichts.

Great location. Not the cleanest. I spent the first day and a half cleaning. Opened the bedroom window to get some fresh air and the blinds are so old they are brittle and only one side will lift up and the screen is ripped open. Had to go buy cleaner to clean. My second picture is of the dresser with caked on dust/dirt. I cleaned up leftover vomit on bathroom wall. I will stay in the building again just not in 209A.

Great place…needs updating

The property and location are fantastic. However, 209A could use some updating. It needs a new stove, shower curtain, put a tile shower in with no bath tub, updated bathrooms, and washer & dryer combo.It’s a great place, but it’s ready for some updating. The trim in the place is really dirty and kind of gross.
