Two Weeks of Amazing Adventures in Alaska! Stayed in a beautiful home outside of Wasilla...perfect for experiencing Alaska away from the suburbs and cities (1st night there saw a moose around the corner from the house!) House was equidistant for trip to Seward for daytime cruise to see ocean wildlife (we saw orcas, seals, sea otters, bald eagles, and muffins!) and trip to Denali NP for unbelievable fall colors along the mountains (plus saw plenty of moose and a grizzly bear!)House is new and pristine - everything works properly, and everything is clean and in excellent condition. Tall ceilings and spacious rooms, plus windows let that let plenty of light in and provide beautiful nighttime views! Great big back deck, too. 3 bathrooms and separate bedrooms on two floors provide privacy. Can't say enough good things about this property - definitely a prize winner for an Alaskan adventure home base! And the owners were exceptional communicators and took care of all our needs!! Amazing stay!

Great stay in Wasilla

Great property, we’ll maintained. Property is isolated so it was nice and quite. Good location between Anchorage and Talkeetna.

Peaceful and stunning

There are so many positives I don't know where to begin. The place is stunning! The kitchen was so well stocked with extras like spices and pots and pans. The host was easy to communicate with and so kind. The area is peacful but close to amenities. We enjoyed our stay so much!

Visiting family

We spent more time out of the house than in. Like new, roomy property with all the amenities you need. We even saw a moose run across the backyard!

A coworker and I rented the house for a 2-week work assignment. The house had everything we could need in terms of kitchen supplies - pretty much everything you'd have in your own home kitchen. It had a nice deck to sit on in the evenings, and the owner was quick to bring us/respond when we asked if they had some chairs or something we could use - she brought a nice patio set right away so we could enjoy the outdoor space. Unfortunately, once we had the furniture the weather didn't corporate as it rained most of the rest of the time LOL. One of the only draw backs to the house was there's not a TV in the main living area. The only TV was in the master bedroom. For some that might not be a big deal but because we were working everyday having a TV available for all guests in the main area would have been a plus. Sometimes you just want to relax, have dinner and watch a movie or something after a long day. One other comment I'd offer is it was a bit further from the center of Wasilla - 20-25 min drive - than expected. However, overall nice house, well maintained, clean, nice neighborhood, good amount of space.
