Your exotic Glamping in Florida. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Feel the warmth of this tropical paradise. Located on a fresh water canal full of fish. A peddle boat and kayaks available.
Enjoy the real Florida in a traditional Seminole Indian Chikee Hut, made from Cypress, with all the modern conveniences. Separate Bath House, outdoor cooking by heated pool, lounge chairs for sunning. Bikes are also available. No children No pets. All will find sanctuary here, Honeymooners, Gay, Nudist, any color.

Our winter getaway couldn’t have been more perfect. Communication was amazing. We utilized several things offered…bikes, hot tub, grill, paddle boat. The only thing we didn’t use was as the pool. I’m sure the water temp was just fine for a normal person, but I’m not a normal person…our pool sits at 90 in the summer and even then, it’s questionable if I will get in it. We felt very secluded and enjoyed just hanging out. The owners sent a YouTube video, walking you around the property, giving tips and such..it was very useful. We did arrive later in the evening, so navigating in the dark was a little overwhelming…so my suggestion would to be give your full attention when watching the video, especially if you are arriving when it’s dark. While we did watch the video, we probably didn’t give it the attention we should have.We did have some cool nights, low 50’s, but were never cold. Aaron reached out asking if we needed additional blankets, but we didn’t need them. We would absolutely stay here again!

Lovely Little Paradise

From the beginning Ancelin was great! I accidentally booked for the wrong date, and messaged her my error and she had bo problem working with me to correct my mistake. The place was clean and it was such a nice relaxing spot to rest on our road trip. I would definitely go back!

Nature with Benefits!

This is a beautiful outdoors hut made with teak posts and a wonderful palm frond roof. Glamping at its best! We were greeted at midnight by the property owner's daughter. She showed us everything. Our stay was in early April. Sleeping outside was beautiful. We were surrounded by a jungle landscape, birds, lizards and faced a canal. There was an overhead fan which made sleeping very easy on nights that might otherwise have been a little too warm. One day it rained and we were dry and cozy all day! The experience feels like a cross between being on a boat or in the Caribbean. It feels like old-time Florida. The owners were always available if we needed anything, but we had great privacy. We were treasuring the quiet and the closeness to nature and really were able to fully enjoy that. The location is close to good shopping and wonderful European deli's. We had everything we needed and were very happy for the 10 day stay. Thank you Ancelin and Aaron!

You must try glamping!

First time glamping and this was a wonderful spot to try it! Very lovely outdoor facility! Very comfortable. Love the hot tub too

Found Wilson!

Needed a place to stay so that we could go house hunting and didn't really want a stuffy/ bed bug hotel and came upon the "Coco Plum". It was the best choice for us. Very well thought out and unusual place to stay. If, we chose to return in the area to purchase a house we will definitely be back to stay. The host was very polite and helpful and showed us the amenities that we could of used but didn't have a chance to but next time we will definitely use. We found Wilson!!!!

My husband has been battling stage 4 metatstaic cancer. We wantedbtobgobtonour special place here to just enjoy nature. He wwent to thebER and was admitted to ICU. He incurred a non operative brain bleed. He unfirtunatlry passed on March 16th andni amna heart broken mess. I woyld mean alot to me if you coykd just refund me please? Unique getaway in Port Charlotte

Excellent accommodations! Lots to do, Bicycling, paddle boating and lots more. We are repeat offenders. Stayed April 2022, plan to make it an annual trip.

So peaceful

We were so impressed by this property. My husband even talked about wanting to buy lots next door. The hosts were very kind and accommodating, the property was beautiful and relaxing, and we really felt like we had a true vacation. They put so much thought into the details to make the stay extra enjoyable. We would definitely recommend this place and would love to return!

Cast Away Island Retreat

My wife and I had a wonderful time relaxing in our own private little bungalow! Whether you're paddling down the river, or dozing in the chickee hut it's very easy to forget you're not on some tropical island. This was our first Vrbo experience, and i have to say it was a pleasant one. Aaron and Ancellin were perfect hosts, making us feel comfortable and at home right away. This will definitely be a place we try to visit again in the future!

Just what I was looking for.

This was my very first glamping experience, and it was wonderful. Other reviewers have sung the praises of how relaxing the hut is and how nice the owners are, but I would like to mention all the activities that can be done right there (In fact I shouldn't have rented a car.) Biking, kayaking, paddle boating, row boating, and pool swimming. There is a warm mineral springs park 8 miles away -guaranteed swimming no matter what the weather is. The hot tub is great. There's even Netflix in the hut. The temperature dropped to 40s at night but I was still okay sleeping outside since the bed has a heated mattress pad. Other amenities are a fridge, little bottles of alcohol, coffee maker, and a cool shower with shampoo, soap, and conditioner. After staying here I felt reset, recalibrated and relaxed.

Exactly what we were looking for!

When arriving we got such a warm and inviting welcome. We were shown the entire property and all amenities making our stay very easy and comfortable. Was quiet, peaceful, and quite relaxing. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for something unique in the area.

Great Glamping Experience

My wife and I loved the place. Very cool experience. The owners were very welcoming. Very private with a nice pool to cool off in. Very close to the beaches around there. I had my doubts at first about staying without air conditioning during the summer in Florida. With the fans going it was actually comfortable. Not disappointed at all.

This was by far the best vacation experience i have had. Everything was clean and the hosts were very friendly and attended any need we had. My fiance and i havent slept that good in years. Was a lot of fun and definitely coming back in the near future!

Tranquil spot to unwind

My wife found this place looking for a local staycation spot. We were there in less than an hour from North Sarasota on a Friday evening and stayed 2 nights. You enter the property next door to the owners. It is on a canal with no other buildings around or even across the canal. It's very private and tranquil - just what we were looking for! We spent the majority of the time in the main sleeping/sitting area, and alternated between the pool and hot tub. We found a local breakfast place Zoe's less than 10 mins away, and grilled dinner one night at the main seating pavilion. The landscaping is beautiful and everyone was asking "where are you?" thinking we were in some exotic locale when they saw out pictures and were surprised to hear that we were in Port Charlotte. Enjoyed bird watching and downloaded an app to identify the different bird calls. Had a tremendous storm for a few hours in the middle of one night which we thoroughly enjoyed listening to the wind, rain, and thunder while we were tucked safely in our bed with no moisture getting into the site at all! High-quality sustainable construction. The owners were very nice and responsive and we will be coming back to decompress again!

Glamping at its finest!

Adorable hut on a canal. We appreciated the mosquito netting around the bed. Robes were a nice touch. Location helped us feel like we were away from it all. TV was available but we enjoyed the birds serenading us instead. We would return if this option is available for our next stay.
