Sea Lea Colony

Great location 5 minute walk to the beach. Use the neighborhood path and land at the crab shack for a quick snack or drink. Then continue on to the beach by crossing over the little bridge. Awesome place to watch people kayaking, fishing, crabbing, digging for clams or our favorite- gorgeous sunsets!
Updated home with A/C. All bedrooms and family room, have ceiling fans. Master bedroom with King size bed, full bath with double sinks and slider access to deck, 2nd bedroom with Queen size bed, 3rd bedroom with Full size and twin bed, Study with futon bunk beds. Sleeps 8 comfortably. Spacious, family room connects to dining room and kitchen. large wrap around deck with retractable awning, deck runs alongside the front of the entire home with sliders out of Master bedroom and family room. Sit around the Fire pit outside and listen to the waves at night and star gaze. We have a double kayak plus two singles that you are welcome to use. The convenient outside shower gives you the ability to rinse off when you get back from the beach. Make your next vacation and new memories at the Sea Lea House.🏖️🌊

We love Charlestown and this house! It’s perfectly situated with a quick walk to the beach and clam cakes! The house has everything to make a vacation complete, and easy. Plenty of dishes, beach gear, ping pong, darts, and can jam for at home fun. The deck is the real star of the house though, magical! We’re already looking forward to planning next year’s trip.

Had a great time!

Perfect property for our 3 generation family get away. The house is very nice, comfortable & welcoming inside & out, the location by the marina & a short walk to the beach is wonderful, and the basement rec room and all the things there for our use was an unexpected bonus! A wonderful experience for us all!

Great location

The home is very clean. Gayle the host was very responsive to a little issue we had in the beginning of our stay. The house is walking distance 8 to 10 minutes to the beach, which is a great beach. Also being in-between Westerly and Narragansett we had plenty of restaurants to go to. The family and I had a great time. Thank you.

All the Vibes!

This was one of the best VRBO stays we have had. We usually vacation at the Jersey Shore so I was hesitant to stay anywhere else. I was pleasantly surprised that the beach has such nice sand and smooth entry into the ocean! The walk to the beach was easy and had a bonus amazing clam shack on the way. The house was the perfect size for the 7 adults and the basement ping pong and darts was a huge plus on the rainy day. Not having to bring my own towels and sheets was the best! Plenty of beach towels, chairs and umbrellas for us to use. The owner was very responsive and we will definitely consider staying here in the future!

Delightful stay!

The Sea Lea beach house provided us with a wonderful and restful stay in Rhode Island. It is all that is written about it. The updated decor is perfect with its' beach-relax theme and house is well-appointed. The walk to the beach to be a short and fun one. We didn't have the occasion to use the dock but found the lower-level recreational elements fun for those rainy days. Sitting under the awning at the end of the day is especially pleasant. Plus, the local fruit/veggie/restaurant supply an additional surprise benefit. We definitely recommend.

Perfect week in our favorite place!

This was an exceptional property for our family of 7 - my husband and I, 3 kids 19-25 and 2 significant others. The location is perfect - 7 minute easy walk to the beach and a quick walk to the dock for kayaking, too. The house easily fit our family - super comfortable bedrooms with lots of space. The 4th bedroom/study is a bit small but normal for a beach house:) The house is equipped with so much - plenty of glassware, dishes, pots, nice bath and beach towels, beach chairs, nets... - nothing was lacking. We were delighted at every turn! The basement has ping pong and darts that provided a couple of nights of excellent family competition. The deck is delightful. Since it's so large you can always find a place in or out of the sun depending on your mood (and the heat!) Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. This house is truly a place where a family of adults can relax and enjoy each other's company. I texted the owner a couple of times with minor questions and they quickly responded. I can't recommend Charlestown enough - the beach is very clean and picturesque, Ninigret Pond is so fun at low tide (we caught large blue crabs for dinner!), and the surrounding area is beautiful and has a casual beach vibe that we love. This house and its location (and perfect weather!) made our vacation - we hope to return!
