Vacation

I hear that all the downstairs rentals have been updated because of the hurricane damage. The room that I stayed in really needs updating. The shower doors kept coming off the track (maybe the track needed to be cleaned). All the fixtures in the bathroom were rusty. The one chair at the table is so old and rickety, we were afraid to sit in it. The ceiling fan needs a screw in one of the blades because it was clacking. The ceiling fan really is too big for that room and hanging way too low. Dave had to walk around it because it is too low and would hit his head on it. I also had to buy hangers to hang up our clothes. We swept every day, but there was no dust pan to sweep it into. The staff was very nice, and the cleaning people were accommodating. It was nice that the beach chairs weren't locked up this year and were available when we arrived at the beach in the morning. I wouldn't pick this particular room again, but it is a nice place to stay.
