Kind Of Blue - A Hill Country Cottage

Welcome to Mosaic! A growing collection of boutique cabinas nestled in the heart of the Hill Country. Enveloped by Live Oak and Mesquite, it's hard to believe you're just 12 minutes from Texas State University, downtown San Marcos and the San Marcos River.

We hope the blanket of stars at night and the stillness of the Hill Country leaves you feeling rejuvenated and content.

We are tucked away in the Hill Country, surrounded by dense forest and a blanket of stars at night. These boutique stays are perfect for anyone who wants all the privacy of the outdoors coupled with the convenience of being close to town.

Great Cabin!

Loved this cozy secluded cabin! Was clean and easy to get to. Just minutes from town and 30min give or take from floating the river.

Quiet!

The place was secluded and quiet but not far from TXST, where we went to visit our daughter.

Gave me the Blues

The house itself was very rustic. There were both good and bad. The bed downstairs was comfortable. The place itself looked clean until you moved a piece of furniture and found trash underneath the couch. The yard guys came and cut the grass on the 2nd morning, which was needed. Just something that should have been done beforehand.I can say the check out was easy and pain free. Where the property fell short was in the communication. The first day the toilet, bathroom sink as well as the kitchen sink were not draining. I reached out to the telephone # and got no response. I texted, still nothing. I even went on the website and received no answer. When my daughter came after graduation, we had the guys pee outside. That was a bit much. Please do a better job of communicating.
