Note: The entrance stairs to this unit are steep so please keep this in mind when booking your stay. Also, there is no smoking on the property. Thank you in advance.

Nice beach location

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay! Less than 2 blocks to the beach. Quiet neighborhood. We walked to restaurants every day. Food was great and very short walk. Convenient location to see nearby lighthouses and boats. The furniture was comfortable and everything provided. We never needed to buy or restock anything which gave us more time to simply relax and enjoy the beautiful area.

Island getaway

Sawyer was a wonderful host. We loved being near the beach and local restaurants! The place had everything we needed and it was beautifully decorated, making it so cozy!

Sandpiper’s Nest - terrific place to be in Oak Island

We were really impressed with our stay! Lots of positives about Sandpiper’s Nest, but for us location was most positive. Ideal low-traffic, neighborhood location - we walked to the beach as well as to restaurants every day. Easy access to main road when we wanted to head out further, whether for adventures or for supplies. As to the property itself, it is exactly as described. Nicely set up for one or two people, we found it to be a very comfortable place to be when we weren’t out adventuring. Though not a negative in our minds, please do heed the warning about the stairway access - they do require your attention. The hosts, Sawyer and Aubrey, were always attentive and available as needed without being the least bit intrusive. Nice folks! We absolutely recommend Sandpiper’s Nest if you’re looking for a comfy little base of operations for exploring Oak Island and the surrounding area! We would definitely go back should our travels bring us back that way!!

Quaint Condo

Nice quaint condo. Short walk to the beach. Although we enjoyed our stay, we had a better condo to stay in at Sunset Beach in the past. We wanted to try out Oak Island. It was nice, but in our opinion, the restaurants, places to stay, etc. are better at Sunset Beach.

So close to the beach!

My husband and I had a great stay in this unit. We wanted a quiet spot to do a bit of exploring of Oak Island, Southport and Wilmington and this was perfect. Communication was top notch, check in very easy with our personal lock code and the unit was SO CLEAN. We were very impressed with how well stocked it was, cute decor and felt very homey and comfortable. The location was perfect. A very short walk to the beach and boardwalk. Beach chairs and umbrella were provided. If we are back in the area, will definitely return. Thank you!

perfect space and location!

we loved everything about our weekend getaway here - the location was amazing to be able to easily walk to the beach, restaurants, coffee shops, etc. the bed and love seats are super comfortable and made for a great, cozy place to spend a rainy day. the hosts were easy to communicate with and so flexible when hurricane debby altered our original plans. hope to be back soon!

Nice little getaway

This was my wife's first visit to Oak Island. The apartment was very cozy and clean. Perfect for just the 2 of us! She loved it so much, that we will be bringing the whole family next time. Unfortunately, the apartment isn't big enough for a family of 6. The host was amazing! I would recommend it

Adorable apartment in the perfect location

I have stayed here before and had another great experience. This little apartment is perfectly located as far as ease of getting to the beach and numerous great places to eat and grab a cocktail.

OI Beach Trip

This property was pretty much as advertised. It was very clean and well equipped with the things we needed. It is very close to the main house that is on the property, so privacy was sometimes not the greatest. The location was good with the short walk to the beach and restaurants. We would stay at this property again if we were in the area.

Great Location - comfortable stay

We loved staying here. It is the perfect size for two people and is very close to the beach, restaurants, and souvenir shopping. We brought our bikes and biked all over the island and also did our share of walking around. The place looks just like the pictures and is nicely decorated. Very easy in and out and great communication by the hosts. Would highly recommend it and will stay again!

neighborhood beach house

This little apartment was upstairs in a building on the back of the main house property in a nice older neighborhood. We very much enjoyed the feel of the neighborhood. The place is super cute and was equipped by owners with multiple amenities (those that I usually pack and take myself!) It is very quiet; no noise or dog barking. Parking right in front. Owners very friendly and accommodating. For only 1-3 people; this is an ideal place. And it walks straight down to the beach. Pier is close as well as restaurants and shops. Restaurants do not take reservations; for Memorial weekend it was imperative to go early or go and get your name on the list and do something else while you wait. Food was very good at every place we tried.

The Perfect Getaway

My husband, myself, and our two year old daughter had a wonderful stay. Sawyer and Aubrey were very responsive with any of our needs. The Wi-Fi was a little slow at times, but it was a very rainy weekend which could have caused the slow down. Other than that, our stay was perfect and we would definitely recommend this little slice of heaven.

Great home close to the beach!
