Private River Access and wheelchair accessable

Chisholm Trail is a large house with five bedrooms, four bathrooms and a loft. It is wheelchair accessible. It has a large backyard with a pool, cabana and firepit. The pool has a shallow sunning deck perfect for sunning or your small children. There is even a place to put an umbrella to help protect your kids from the hot sun. It comes with a basketball court, horseshoe pits and plenty of space to bring your cornhole boards and other outdoor games. It is within walking distance to the river where you have private access. The house was wonderful and clean. There was a lot parking and the backyard was very nice. The “private”river access was misleading because it was access for the neighborhood and we were not able to find a way to get in the river from that access.

A great place for families!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at Chisholm Trail for the first time this week. It was great! There were 15 of us and there were beds for plenty more. The indoors was comfortable, cute and very functional, but we spent most of our time outdoors. We ate and played games under the covered porch with its fans and lights. If we weren't there, we were at the river down the hill or in the pool. They had a few pool toys, a basketball court and balls, a fire pit and horse shoes. I highly recommend it!

Great time in Concan!

The check in was awesome! So easy and we were able to check in two hours early. The house was spotless! The walk to the river was easy and fast. The pool was clean and cool. That is where we spent almost all of our time even though we had cloudy weather the entire weekend. The outside area was great. We had a great time.

Favorite family vacation!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This may be our favorite family vacation! The house was clean, comfortable, and close to the river. Some of our group are older, so we were directed down the street to an easier access point and had the very best time for two days. The swimming pool was a favorite and was well-used. Our family includes ages 6 to 80.

Top Notch!!!

This home has everything! I reserved this for our annual company trip, which included 11 people. There was more than enough room for everyone, and with all the amenities, no one was bored. Since the river was low, the pool was a lifesaver. Even with low water-levels, the private access area to the river was still nice to float in and hang out. We had everything we needed for cooking, the outdoor patio provided plenty of space for everyone to hang out and because the property was big with plenty of trees surrounding it, we felt like we were the only ones in the subdivision. I had foot surgery and was in a wheelchair, so it was so helpful the property was handicap accessible. The electric recliner was a huge plus, since I needed to elevate my foot. My boss was thoroughly impressed and recommended we return annually to this specific house for our trip. Everything about this home was great!

A great place to be stuck during a Frio Flood!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the second time we've stayed at this house on our yearly family vacation to the frio. We chose this place for it's proximity to the river, pool, outdoor area, and how the bedrooms fit our diverse families. We had a great trip in this house. On our check out day the Frio River became flooded and we had no way to leave past Frio Country Crossing & Seven Bluff Crossing. The owners were understanding of the circumstance and made sure we had all we needed during the extra time we had to stay in the house. The owners cared about our safety during this time and informed us of when supplies were being distributed so our family could get anything we needed. We plan on renting this house again in the future.

This is the first time in 30 years for us to rent a house with a pool & we all at sorry we didn’t do that a long time ago. The outdoor area was overall our favorite to hang out.
